So obviously staff might have changed, but I found the female staff were fabulous and very knowledgeable. First, on my list was to get an Osprey backpack to hike Scotland. The saleswoman was fabulous, asking me all sorts of questions to determine my precise needs. She helped fit me into the right one and I got the color I wanted. In the end I was very happy (and still am) with my Osprey Kyte 48. The tent store is a different story. There were two salesmen in the tent store, one was a condescending prig even if knowledgable. The other salesman, was completely pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. I wanted a light weight tent and he went through all their stock to help me find what I needed, even showing me in the catalogue what was available. I ended up not buying because it just wasn't in my budget at the time. Ultimately, it comes down to who you get, but I'd shop here again, when I am in Paris, which is probably in the next couple of months.

They thought that because we were Americans that we didn't understand French, and talked about us the entire time we were in the store. They were even rude enough to ask if I understood, then proceeded to continue talking about us when I didn't respond to them. Spend your money elsewhere. Hopefully another store will have decent humans working there.

I wrote to them more than 75 times in a week and half span, and reached out on social media. They responded a total of 4 times. If you are not able to visit the store in person, try not to use their online store. They are not reliable, unresponsive and just suck. Im sorry i worked in retail at a high end shop as such for a while; this happen to be the worse retail experience i have ever had. It is 2 weeks after the issue; by this point i have reported them to my bank for a refund, still have the incorrect product with no responses to emails or DM. I will leave a review everywhere i can so people are not suckered into using their site since they receive limited items. The headaches are not worth it.

Kevin and crew will order pretty much anything you're looking for for you and your team, and his crew takes the time to learn about whatever equipment you're looking into. It's mainly a board and longboard shop, but I'll forever thank them for taking the time to learn the innerworkings of derby equipment and helping France have access to quality quad skates and skate repairs. Don't fret about the location, it really is just a 3 minute walk from the Metro, and you save a crapload of money and have a larger selection than any of the other skateshops in Paris.
