Who else in the city is hanging Ghana movie poster exhibits? No one.

Nobody in the city is doing programming as risky, as interesting, or as remarkable as PhilaMOCA. It really is one of my favorite places on earth. Lil' Sean for president.

    Ask the Community - PhilaMOCA

Does this place offer coat check or bag check when shows happen?

No. My buddy even offered to pay 10 bucks to have someone watch his coat and the dude said no and got all weird about it haha. Philamoca is an awesome place you'll enjoy it for sure!!

    Review Highlights - PhilaMOCA

PhilaMOCA is somehow spacious AND cozy, making it easy to forget that you're standing inside the shell of a mausoleum, at least in name.

In addition to t-shirts,…read moresweat tops, & mugs emblazoned with the schools name on it, there are also myriad works on sale from the former alumni. Yes, most are on the crafty side - jewelry, stuffed toys, scarves, face masks, magnets, & greeting cards. But there is also a rack of clothing (mainly tops), prints, graphic novels & 'zine-like books, and some paintings too. Much of the items seem reasonably priced. If you're looking for craftsy gifts, I'd reccomend stopping in here to make a purchase & help an artist out. (I can't say if any of the artists on display here still reside in Philly). Neighbors in the area might want to keep this unassuming shop in mind when shopping for presents, especially for the women in your life. Perusing these pieces make me wish that I'd gone to Moore as an art student.
