They're not perfect, like any other business, but the team at PPE really took a great load off us. Now, our rental properties are actually generating truly passive income for me and my husband. These guys are very serious about what they do.
Being one of their early clients, we had the opportunity to be dealing directly with the founders. And I must say, they know just about everything about what they do - from housekeeping, digital marketing, up to the legal technicalities. They know their contracts to the letter and abide by them even if it means they have to cover your losses - we really appreciate that they even covered the rent supposedly paid by a tenant in one of our units who took off and didn't finish their lease. PPE covered the rent for the vacant months until they found a replacement tenant, just because, according to them, they have already collected their fee for that contract and they want to take responsibility for who they sign into our properties.
We had our properties managed by other providers before (one individual broker and another property/leasing management company) and they were nowhere near this responsible. They were always late in reporting our accounts and in remitting the rental proceeds.
On the other hand, our experience with PPE so far has been 99% great. In a little over 2 years so far, all rentals were remitted on time, account statements emailed on time, my bills paid on time, our properties have been well-maintained and they even actually look better now than when we handed them over to PPE.
The only experience we have with them that we don't enjoy (the other 1%), is that sometimes they are not able to get back to our emails right away. Sometimes it takes them 3 to 5 days to reply. To be fair with them, their explanation for this is that they prioritize their communications according to the urgency of the concerns. Apparently, if they don't see the concerns in your email to be likely to result in real problems or damages, they don't prioritize your email. You can call them anytime, yes, but that can be really costly if you're based overseas like us. Hope they can improve on this soon as they grow their team and clientbase.
Anyway, I don't usually leave reviews like this. But because of our really great experience with Phil. Property Expert, Inc. compared to the previous service providers we've tried, I feel these guys at PPE deserve this positive review. read more
