I understand the range in pricing given different vendors price differently, so I'll chalk up some of the more shocking prices to that. My mom shops for Black Americana and did find a few items too. It was clear some were 1800s-early 1900s. Overall many items were there to choose from. Cell service was terrible here but my service was bad in this part of town in general. The staff were great. One person recommended some thrift shops in town for us and chatted with me about a shared interest in thrifting. I would return!

I found a hand signed and framed map of Egypt entitled "Treasures of the Nile". Shockingly it was only $5 bucks too, score! My girlfriend and I spent a total of two hours here and we both left with some purchases. They also had a pamphlet on the main counter by the register showing where over fifty antique stores are located in the Tri-State area. The workers are readily available to assist customers with accessing hard to reach items and offer to bring purchases to the front of the store to be held for you. Everyone I encountered was friendly, pleasant and helpful. This is set up similar to an "Antique Mall" but is much nicer than that. There are many rooms and it's so much fun to explore. At first I figured I would only be window shopping because some of the prices knocked me off my feet. I am a bargain hunter and have access weekly to some pretty amazing finds at my local farmers market. I get things for very reasonable prices. I immediately noticed something I thought I would like and took the 30 minute drive to check it out and bought it on the spot but was not prepared to take it home. I did pay for it and returned 2 days later to pick it up. I didn't even get into the front door to pick up my find and noticed a piece that she was just bringing in herself and bought it on the spot. She didn't even have it in the store! Now I have even more things to put into the SUV. The owner was so kind enough to help me load and even secure the load (I will return her bungee cords just so I have a new excuse to shop). These pieces are different and brings back a nostalgia feeling for me that reminds me of being in my Aunt's house when I was a child. Those pieces are now recycled, redesigned/repurposed and have a great eclectic design with paint, new hardware, or just repurposed. I found the pieces to be cool vintage - but not "shabby chic" of 10 years ago. You can even bring your old furniture and she will custom redesign it for you. There were pieces that had pieces added/removed and it looked like a new product with a new purpose. A museum of eccentric shabby chic AND reasonably priced. It's art.

Not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but more out of curiosity. This was easily our favorite store out of the bunch. They had that typical Antique Mall setup, in which there's thousands of items from dozens of dealers spread across three gigantic floors. But it wasn't so much the quantity here as it was the quality of the goods just seemed a cut-above the other stores we visited. Beyond the goods, the venue itself (a restored tabacco warehouse) is neat and oozing in history. Service from the Amish lady running the cash register was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you're in the area to check them out for a fun few hours of poking around.
