I am not going to sugar coat this. It was my company. I traded for over 30 years and had over 4000 customers and for a very long period all was good.
I expanded and expanded and eventually lost control of the business that I built from nothing.
I reduced in size and retained what I considered to be my best staff to keep the company afloat in challenging times. Yet again I was let down by some staff ( some left for their own reasons including my son/ 1 got imprisoned for reasons that had nothing to do with my company ) and the knock on effect was that I let down customers.
I returned to tools to try and conclude ongoing issues but found them too great.
The reviews you read are true.
Claire N was let down, she was and indeed is a lovely person, her house was filthy, I had to avoid cat droppings and cats p..ing on my tools but I continued to go and try and conclude the job without payment for as long as I could.
I have video evidence but will never post it.
S.G I am so sorry about, We tried to build an extension for her disabled husband and found out during the work that the architect I recommended had not undertaken his duties. We built on his assurance that all was good to go. It transpired it was not. Covid was rife and it was a disaster, more so for S.G than me as she had to live with it.
The pictures are not a true reflection as there was an outhouse behind the extension that had to temporarily house the boiler in order for the home to have heating and hot water, as such we had to build the extension in stages, a fact that I informed S.G of and never hid. The pictures show a section of foundation that was not built as the outhouse prohibited this.
I purchased all that S.G paid for and indeed still have her windows in my yard.
I am not looking for justification for letting both these and indeed a few others down, just a bit of understanding.
4000 jobs over 30 years, no decrees, no trading standard inhibitions.
And I offered all my services to conclude the work.
