I recently purchased a Living Social deal with Phase Photographic for a
sitting and a 10X8 photo. I went with my husband and baby to have a
family photo done. We were treated very well during the shoot and
everything was going fine until. it came to viewing our pictures.
Firstly the prices are beyond outrageous. That's all I need to say on the matter. I am surprised they are still in business.
Secondly
we were told we had to go and view the pictures in the office, in Worthing. This
took me weeks to arrange a day/evening when both my husband and I were
free. I was then told, at the 11th hour, that they could be viewed
on-line! OMG thanks for wasting my time! They can't do
the hard SELL when you view them on-line though eh! Once the woman I was dealing
with realised that we were only going to claim our Living Social deal her
interest in further customer relations with us died a death.
Thirdly
the
photos are dreadful! Out of the awful selection we saw we struggled to
find one we liked. I am happy for them to delete the rest. They were
either out of focus or poorly composed. This is a
shame because the photographer, at the time, seemed to know what she was
doing and was very good at making my baby smile. Sadly none of the
photos turned out as I expected them to. We were very disappointed to
say the least. Even if we didn't intend to spend our hard earned money
on another photo our family might have, however even they thought we
could have done a better job ourselves.
Finally, after several weeks, we got sent our photo with a blank 'compliment' slip. Some of the picture
is completely out of focus and if I had actually paid what they normally charge
for a 108 photo I would have sent it back and asked for a full refund.
Maybeit's because we are a Living Social customer that we received suchindifferent, neglectful and poor customer service (BTW 'service' is the
wrong
word) but at the time of the photo shoot they didn't know we only
intended to purchase what was included in the deal uh why would I
be doing a deal otherwise? This leaves me to think that they are a
talentless company who's only interest is to make a fast buck no matter
how they do it. I shall be complaining to Living Social so no one else
gets the same sub-standard treatment we did once Phase Photographic
staff realise you aren't going to be ripped off by buying more rubbish
photos.
