My water broke and they almost did not want to check me, Just looked on ultrasound and I have plenty of water. Then they did the vaginal swab. I refused to allow them to send me 2 hours to LSU. I was sent to St Francis and Dr Shemwell, was assigned. I was supposed to sit and wait with a broken water. but I told Drm Shemwell Something felt off and my breech baby was sliding down. She took me back and delivered me via C section. Yes sometimes you wait but You are not the only patient in the world. They have emergencies and make sure to schedule a few hours off for these appointments.
