Our list had scissors and tape (both of which we found for cheaper than at a nearby Michael's), first aid kit labelled specifically for office use, and COVID hygiene products like antibacterial wet wipes for hands and cleaning surfaces. This Rexall has a few self check-outs and/or very friendly cashiers that can you help you out. We didn't have a Be Well card, which is their loyalty program and they were able to get us up and running with a quick scan of a new card. The card is free but you have to register your email online with it to redeem points.

Quoted me $ 538.00 and after regaining consciousness I declined to authorize the script . My doctor at a top CDN hospital said that this medication at other pharmacies should run $ 125.00- $ 175.00 . Incidentally we received, another quote on the same medication and paid them $ 185.00 . No need for the owner ( guy in white coat in the picture) to come on here try and justify his outrageous prices . My current pharmacist informs me several of his customers have turned to Pace when requiring compounding and Received the same pricing . Some businesses still feel the need to gouge customers especially when your clientele resides in high income area .Not buying this malarkey.

I visit this location quite a bit as it's conveniently in the path and enroute to and from work. It's a large store with very friendly staff. In fact, I don't think I can pick out one bad experience in the 5+ years that I've been living where I do and visiting this store. What I truly love is that they're never understaffed. If I ever have a question, there's always someone close by to ask. What's worse than doing laps trying to find someone?! And when I'm in a rush, the lines always move quick. Surprisingly it's Never that busy, either... perhaps because it's hidden in the path? Whatever the reason, let's keep it a secret! The cream I was looking for readily available as the girl pointed out and the price was fine to compared to other retailers. Oh yes, they are busy and have thousands of customers. Transit options are the osgoode subway station directly underground and the 501 queen streetcar directly from the surface lots of parking available, on the side streets and private underground lots in the area, both with a bit of a walk if you have to park. better then a normal location, but be cautious banking on what you are looking for being here.

The owner/pharmacist went to school at UofT and decided to come back to the area to open up this business, which I think is pretty neat. He was very helpful when I went in to fill prescriptions for the first time, and was welcoming to the neighbourhood when he learnt i'd just moved nearby. He even called to my old pharmacy to move my existing prescriptions, and has been great about getting orders done when I call in ahead of picking up. They have a small range of miscellaneous products you'd find at just about any pharmacy - snacks, misc health products, greeting cards, etc etc. Dispensing fees are pretty on par with most pharmacies, and just above places such as Walmart. Shorter hours mean that in a pinch for emergency prescriptions and products I might have to go elsewhere, but i'll stick with them for my regular prescriptions for sure. Overall, a win! Nice to have an owner-operated pharmacy in the neighbourhood.

My neurologist prescribed a medication which she said told me to expect that my pharmacist would say is no longer available as most do -Joseph had it for me within 24 hours. He has been careful to inform me of potential drug interactions, has worked with my doctors to ensure my medication directions were clear and recently helped me through an adverse reaction. He even called twice to inquire how I was doing after the reaction! In addition, he has always been very concerned about my health and never fails to ask how I'm doing. I highly recommend Kingsway and Joseph.

Canadians know what Rexall is all about…read more As ubiquitous as the Maple Leaf, Tim Horton's, or hockey, Rexall has almost 9,000 locations across Canada. In downtown Toronto (with more than 40), it makes it seem like there's one on every block. For Americans, the closest comparison is Walgreen's ... but think how much more you'd like Walgreen's without the rip-off prices on non-sale items. That's Rexall. So with that in mind, what would make the the location at 48 Yonge Street -- which is more officially known as "Store 8197" -- special? Well, let's start with location: The corner of Yonge and Wellington. On my journey, I was at the famed Hotel Victoria ... putting us less than a block from the Rexall. That also puts you in a few blocks from the East Bayfront, ScotiaBank Arena, Berczy Park, Union Station, Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (soon to be Meridian Hall), across the street from the Hockey Hall of Fame, and very very close to about a zillion other things you'll want to do and see in Toronto. Are all Rexall's the same? Pretty-much. Each (or at least most) have an excellent pharmacy for all those good drugs you get with that freeish healthcare Canada gives its lucky citizens. Pleasant service. A whole bunch of candy selections. It's the best place for fellow travelers to pick up those health, hair, and beauty items they forgot at home ... and at actually very reasonable prices. I was gobsmacked to pay $5 ($3.75 US) for a 6-pack of 710mL (24-oz) bottles of Diet Coke ... a great deal, especially in a major metropolitan area. Every day on our trip, we either started or ended our day at the Rexall. And we return to Toronto, we'll be back for more!
