I had the worst experience here over the weekend. I went to hopefully celebrate the Blues' Stanley Cup victory with a few blue fireworks. Well, when I walked in the shop they asked for my ID, scanned it, required my mailing address, license plate, and made me sign up for its "premium" membership, which is free and just a term added to make you feel special. Anyway, I refused to sign up, as I said I'd like to look around before giving out all my personal information to this place. I shopped around and it was BUY 1 GET 1 FREE. Why would anyone buy an expensive firework and want two of the SAME THING -- boring! However, all the fireworks were over DOUBLE the price of Molly Brown's (in Pacific, MO). Also, Molly doesn't even ask you for your ID at checkout. It respects your personal information unlike Phantom. Long story short, I'm never going here again. This company will eventually fail due to its asinine business practices. read more

Staff were extremely rude and prejudice. I had to walk back to my car twice due to negligence in instructions. I came back into the store and was told that I needed to check in with my ID that I was just told to put back into my car. I did not witness the previous two customers whom walked in needed to check in with their id. I will be speaking to Linda and corporate today to find out what they can do about this. I purchased a gift card online to get a free $99 firework. I then downloaded coupons off their website for a buy 1 get 2 free. When I got to the register at the store two men watched over a young girl checking me out. The use of the coupons, gift card, and free firework was too much for them to handle. The two men were rude and not helpful. It was creepy how they watched the cashier and passively berated her in front of customers. Honestly I just wanted to get out of there and not come back. After, leaving and thinking that something seemed wrong I looked at my receipt and realized I didn't get my free firework. Considering we were the only customers in there they could've been nice about the whole ordeal. They had a great selection and good prices if you used a coupon. However, their lack of niceness made me a first and last time customer. read more

Not very happy!! No where is it posted that you have to have your drivers license. All I wanted to get was snapping pops and small fireworks for my 2 year old. Never will I visit this place again. read more

We started going here several years ago, they have the best fireworks in the area. You do have to register but I have never been spammed. We used to go to tents and Molly's until we came here. They are always buy one get one, you don't have to get the same firework just same or less price. The deal usually gets better close to the 4th. We go once a year and stock up. Again, the fireworks are lightyears better than anywhere else. Never had a bad one. read more

Terrible. When you walk in the door they make you register so they can fill up your mailbox with junk. Only one person doing the registering so the line is all the way out the door. In addition they have the parking lot shut down to allow a sno cone vendor to take all the spaces. Are you serious? We ended up not buying anything because the stand next door is cheaper anyway...you guys need to seriously focus on your store customers instead of being focused on your potential ones by mail. read more

What can I say about this place? I saw the US service branch flags flying outside and felt since they support veterans and the military I would shop there. Due to COVID restriction, we had to wait for entry because Phantom Fireworks is an indoor store. Thirty people max at a time. So after an hour we finally got in. As we were going in to check out the ransacked shelves we were stopped and asked to register. What? Register? We were told the local fire marshall required it for their database and that they would send us information from their partners as well. Now at this point, I explained I did not want to "register" and that I'm just here to buy some fireworks. "Sir, we can't sell you anything unless we see your ID and register." What?! I know. Shame on me. I should have walked away. I figured I waited for over an hour to get in so I asked them if they have a veterans discount and she said yes. Ok, fine. I reluctantly gave them my ID and she scanned my information. I got my card and I figure I'll just cancel my card later and told her the same. So they tell you everything is 2 for 1. By this point, it changed from BOGO to 50% off any item. I'm not a math wiz but I can even figure this out but I guess if your only buying one item it still turns into a deal. So we make a fairly quick trip out of it and head to the checkout with our 2 like items (same price) and 16 shot firecrackers. I asked for the veterans discount and this is literally what I'm told. "Our veterans discount if 50% off the listed price." What?! So I explained 50% and BOGO is the same thing and nothing. No deal. So now my thoughts are Phantom Fireworks does NOT support veterans but just entices them by flying the flags outside. I have to say this was not worth the wait. There is a Fireworks City just down the drive from them (you literally pass it going to Phantom) and I would stop there instead. No waiting (It's outdoors), no registration, and better deals. As for Phantom, shame on them for their shady practices. I do believe there is a class-action lawsuit in order for the devious ways they collect information. Fire Marshall? Really? Spent a fortune on fireworks to entertain a large crowd. Opened them up to find a lot of missing fuses. Mortar tubes looked decent enough. Thankfully I screwed them down as many, many mortars failed to launch and exploded in the tubes. $30-$100 repeaters failed to fire the majority of the shots. I had to shut the show down to not further endanger myself and my guests. Horrible quality. Wasted over a thousand dollars and ruined my party. read more

This is a shitty ass place I walked in showed my ID to show them I was 18 and so I could look at fireworks to surprise my dad for Father's Day who had just got out of the hospital and I was looking at the shirts hoping to buy them for my family and the guy with the long hair walked past me and with a rude face asked how old are you and I told him 18 I had already showed my ID to them or else they wouldn't have let me in. I showed him my ID and hesitantly continued shopping I waited in line for a long time and the guy yelled at me to stand 6 feet apart. Avoiding problems I politely moved back and he walked right behind me and put the whole front of his body against the back of mine which made me very uncomfortable but I just let it go I stood in the line with my mother who has bad knees and started to hurt so she let me know she was going to wait in the car the guy then refused to sell to me because of my mother leaving he eventually sold to me and I went to put my stuff in the trunk when I noticed I didn't get my free shirt with the coupon I had he then started to be rude when I went back to get it I have been burned by this place too many times! read more

Great selection of Fireworks! You are required to register because they are open all year & you sign a waiver required by Missouri. I shop here a few times a year. Never had any issues with the employees or quality of the fireworks. They have the best selection in Missouri!! read more
