Eventually we started attending on Sunday's as a family and really love the teaching/preaching. The pastor mixes humor and relevant teaching to really keep us engaged. Oh and donuts and coffee are a plus too ;) There is a nursery and class for the children available during the service unless you would rather they stay with you. On 5th Sunday's the church meets and participates as a group (including the children) in a volunteer opportunity for the community. It's nice to have a volunteer opportunity prepared for you that the whole family can participate in. There are also small groups to attend during the week at various locations.

They have a youth group and a kids ministry during the main service which is what we loved the most. By the second week of us coming here our kids were asking for Bibles! They even started memorizing all the books of the Bible!! We have had such a great time here and have been welcomed as if we were distance family. I recently had the blessing of visiting The Grove Church while out in Austin, TX visiting my…read morechildren, my 4-year-old grandson, and my brand-new 15-day-old grandson. I came in from San Clemente, California, Even though I was in pain from something that bit me on my hand here in Texas and my hand was swollen, I left with my heart so full. From the moment we walked in, I felt the love of this church. The music was uplifting, the worship was powerful, and the people were so warm and friendly. I even had the chance to meet Kara, who serves in communications. She was so kind, welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the church. It really meant a lot. What impressed me most was how family-oriented The Grove is. There's a wonderful kids section for the little ones, programs for the older kids, and such a thoughtful setup with food, breakfast, and lunch. Both the indoor and outdoor services were beautiful and inviting. My kids have been attending The Grove for about three months now since moving to Austin six months ago, and I can see why they love it so much. I even told my other son that when he makes the move to Texas, he will have to join The Grove too! This church is truly special--a place of worship, community, and joy.
