The meals were quite good and plentiful, we tried both the Schnitzel and Saurbraten while there. However the reason for the low rating is that the server/ waitress was very unpleasant. We were visitors from out of town and we definitely felt unwelcome in the restaurant. Will not be back for our next visit.

I got here yesterday and was exhausted so I just wanted dinner and a beer! My waiter helped me with my choice and said if I wasn't happy he would change it for another selection! The beer was delicious! Tonight is my last night here and I'm way too tired to eat in the restaurant so I ordered to go, I went back to pick it up and the lady got me my food, remembered which credit card I used the night before AND gave me a free beer to go! Can't remember his name but he spoke like 8 languages. We asked for recommendations for local beers and he absolutely did not disappoint -- everything he suggested was spot on. The goulash was probably one of the better ones my husband has had in his life -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. I can definitely see this being a great space for a get-together with friends or even just a casual happy hour. We're so glad we stumbled across this gem -- shoutout to our hotel concierge for the recommendation!
