Ultimately, I was later able to obtain a cease-and-desist through the municipal court process at no cost. Looking back, I believe I should have been given more candid guidance regarding the strengths and weaknesses of my case and whether a less expensive alternative approach would have been more appropriate from the beginning. I understand that attorneys cannot guarantee outcomes, and my concerns are not based solely on the result of the case. My concerns are based on my experience with the preparation, strategy, communication, and overall value of the services provided relative to the fee charged. Mr. Buckner after charging hundreds of thousand of dollars for his services came in final arbitration with 10 pages of petty expenses (less than 5K), that was his whole case.
