I took my 1year old Cavapoo to Petsmart in Wyomissing for her 2nd haircut today. She had a few mats but nothing out this world except 1 bad mat at her ear When I tried to explain what I wanted I was told I could go find someone else. I thought what in the world but just brushed that comment off. Then when I picked her up she looked like a rat and all you saw was her skin. I didn't say anything so that I didn't make a scene bc i was livid, I took my bill and left and I did not tip her. In fact I'm never going.back again. She did a terrible job. read more

When I took my dog to the store for grooming there was a pit bull sitting outside the salon. I asked the couple if I could pet him and if he was friendly he replied yes. I pet him & he did snap at me. I did pass it along to the girl who took my dog. They charged me $ 84.00 for a $78.00 service. Plus I paid an additional $25.00 for additional services, that 1/ 2 were not done. I phoned the grooming salon and spoke to a young man and he apologized and said it is that way on the app, because that's were I booked the appointment. However he said they have problems w their computer. I relayed to him that I felt this was questionable business. When I told him about the additional services I paid for and did not get. He put me on hold to go get a manager, who in fact never came to the phone. Then to top it all off @ the register they ask u to buy something for donations to the cat area they have. The bone was never put in my bag And the credit/ debit machine always has issues when I go in there. Oh and the real banger, he is scalped :( read more

The grooming salon on 5th street couldn't BE more perfect! We absolutely ADORE Ariana! She is so kind and wonderful with our little furball! I have never had someone be so kind and patient with a dog who hates to get their hair and nails cut! The whole gang is so friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly make you feel like family when you walk in! It is so nice to be able to not have to worry leaving my pup there! Went there for a grooming. When I picked up my dog you could not tell he was groomed. Just a poor job in the grooming area. Groomer also no showed once for appointment for 3 cats. Took me forever to get them in cage & then car. Strike 2! read more

I am not one for big box stores (typical bougie blah blah comment, I know) but have to give this company credit for supporting local animal adoption organizations. It allows space for an ongoing adoption and for regular adoption events for no-kill organizations. You can go into the back area to visit cats up for adoption (all vet checked and spay/neutered with shots) when a volunteer is there, which is 3 times a day every day. The staff is very flexible and friendly. I hate to see animals in cages, but they do appear well cared for here, and of course there are no dogs or cats for sale. Adopt, don't shop. And consider fostering an adoptable animal to give him or her a break from a cage. read more

We purchased sick fish from petsmart in wyomissing when we called to tell them they have a problem the manager denied they have a problem...ich... We told them that when pretty supplies plus had any issue with their fish they refuse to sell them. The jerk said "we will take that into consideration". We will never spend another cent. At petsmart again. Don't buy fish there. read more

this place should be closed i live right next door there is no heating or cooling for the dogs, they are never let outside and the people who work there show up about 2 times a day for 30 mins. read more

This is a great store, a little more costly but very convenient for all my pet needs. I've had something that had to be returned because my dogs wouldn't use it. They were very nice and understanding. They gave me a credit on their card (I expected it to be returned to my bank) which is sorta nice, you feel using it that something is free:-) The pet car/wash is run nicely and the kids seem to have leadership which is important when I'm trusting them with my littlest. I just wish I could pay right there. Instead you have to get the completed bill take it to the front of the building, pay it and return to the rear of the building to show the recipe and pick-up my dog. That's a lot of walking. Maybe soon they will do this? That aside, they have always been interested and king with lots of pet supply's. :-) read more

We have had nothing but great experiences coming to this PetSmart. The employees we have encountered are always very friendly and go above and beyond to help us. We also have had our labs nails clipped and gotten the full grooming done by Ariana and were very happy with the results. Our lab is very high energy and they handled her very well. read more

Do not send your dog here for a grooming. They have cancelled on me the day before multiple times because my dog was "big". Not to mention the bottom tier customer service. Very disappointed. read more

Love this store. One of the places that trims cats nails my cat is treated nicely and never upset the groomers like him and the store looks good. Never had an issue with dogs/ my cat either. read more

I love this store. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Came here for my first ever aquarium and I was helped with everything I would need. And I saved money using my pet perks rewards card :) It's very clean here too, it doesn't smell like a barn like other pet stores. Lol. This is the only place I get my pet supplies. read more

I don't know wich store those people from the first review went to but It couldn't have been the petsmart on 5th street highway... I went at 8pm not sayin all the employees are horrible but the manager for the night shift is very rude has no person directive. I went in for a choke collar and she was rude under her breath making comments if you dont like choke collars dont sell them at your store or atleast instead of talkin under your breath show me the varietys of collars you sell I asked for someone else they said she was manager !!! If this is how ur manager talks to people theres a whole lot of trainin needed at that store .. I was soo offended by the way i was treated i called corporate who said she was only tryin to help me they were not there to see how rude her and the cashier were and i thought they should kno all i got was an im sorry email soo calling corporate to report gets u nowhere they also told me how bad choke collars are my pop pop trained dogs in the military. And my dog is a rescue he is completely healthy and lives like a king So we obviously kno what we are doing. This store sucks you want good service go to the petsmart in wyomissing or go to petco in exeter. Save urself the bad service. read more
