Bought 5 gallon tank from this place because i wanted too buy 2 little golfishes for, it, first day they refused sale too me because im 17 and i have too be 18. Next day i show up with my parents too buy 2 little fishes...... When i ask the worker too pack me the 2 fishes she refuses too sell me them because she says the 5 gallon tank is not enough and i need too buy a 50 gallon tank while they have 25 fishes in a 3 gallon tank swimming on display, and they do just fine .... Doesn't make sense too me. If you can go too some local store instead of this place you definitely should. read more

So I would recommend buying pet supplies from here and don't forget to match there online prices with the store prices because they will change the price for you. But, I got one of my guinea pigs from here and he has ringworm and it infected my other guinea pig. They did pay for the vet fees but I would never buy any smaller pets from this place again. This PetSmart is a brand new location. It is well stocked and the store is extremely clean. The animals they have in there are well kept and clean. I recently went in there to get free bags of cat food, via a coupon, and was extremely happy with the selection they had. Best place to get fish in sedalia. I bought fish for my 125 gallon yesterday and realized on the way home that my guppies and shrimp were all carrying babies, they all have birth (funny timing) this morning and are doing well. My female betta veiltail was put in this morning. She had stress stripes when on the way home, but is doing perfect in tank. All in all its great service! I payed for 5 shrimp and within a single night now have 20+ and I bought 4 female guppies and in a night, now have 20+ guppies. read more

The fish department is very disappointing. The staff lack a depth of knowledge about fish and aquariums. I bought a molly there that died quickly. Then I bought another molly dropped it into the tank after it acclimated to the temperature - without pouring the Pet Smart water in - and STILL got a terrible out-break of snails. Of course, the store doesn't carry any snailicide, and the employees said, "That's why we tell people not to pour the store water in." Well, I didn't and the salesperson never said that to me anyway. Now I have clown fish with ick. I hate to say it, but that fish department is "ick". read more
