Firstly, I'd like to say I have NO PROBLEM WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE in the store itself. I have experienced nothing but the absolute best customer care experience each time I come here. My review is based solely on grooming. This is the first time bringing my dog for grooming here, I booked online with Gabby. We arrived and Gabby looked her over. The initial price online was $63 but before I walked out the door, it jumped to $83 for a scissor fee. Not happy but OKAY! A while later, I check the app to see if I can pay my invoice for the service in the app. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the price was now $93!!! Extremely unhappy at this point because it says I'm being charged a dematting fee. Sooo before I took my dog, I sat on my garage floor for an hour combing her out. 3 days before that, I had thoroughly brushed her. This morning when I was combing her there were a few small snags which I'd combed to the very ends of her hair. Maybe one or 2 tangles that I'd gotten out but I wasn't concerned about pulling them off the ends of her hair because her leg hair was being trimmed shorter so those little tangles would end up being cut off anyways. I even said that to Gabby as we were discussing the cut I wanted. She said, "okay, no problem." So now in my mind I'm reluctantly prepared to pay the now $93 bill! So when I arrive to pick her up, ohhh the disappointment. My dog looks like a SKIN WALKER!!! The cut is SOO BAD! This doesn't even look like my dog. Looks like she was cut with a weed whacker while the groomer was wearing a blind fold. One leg looks bigger than the other, one lash is cut super short (she tried to say she doesn't know how that happened to the lashes) but I look at her lashes everyday! It wasn't that way when I dropped her off. I asked for short brows, long lashes...NOPE still big brows and they look really horrible. I asked for rounded feet and for her legs to look like furry boots but just neatly trimmed. I will post pics of my dog with her normal grooming versus this one so you can see. I'm literally embarrassed to post these pics of her. She looks so bad, I cried!! And to add insult to injury, she brought Gigi out to me with her paws and face wet with urine. Don't these places usually have the crates that allows the pee to go to the bottom without it touching the dog? She asked if I wanted her to do another quick shampoo but my dog was SO ANXIOUS at that point and trying desperately to escape her and get to me (which is normal behavior) that there was no way I could hand her back to Gabby. Needless to say, as I walked towards the front of the store to pay, I got a better look watching her walk on the floor and SHE LOOKS SO BAD! And the lashes were definitely cut even though I specifically asked her not to touch the lashes. I had to be a Karen today because there was no way I was paying $93 for THIS!!! They nickel and dime you to pieces in here but if the cut was beautiful, that's one thing. My dog startles me every time I look her way! It's horrible !! She no longer looks like my beautiful princess. Lol! I'm laughing but I'm crying too! Please see all pics for reference I have my old groomer pics vs PetSmart. Every time I come here, there are always employees that are eager to help me. They don't disappear as so often happens in many other stores. When someone saw me looking at puppy collars and found out that I was adopting a Golden, they had lots of good advice! My one complaint is with the Kong crate that I bought. First of all, I have arthritis in my hands, and it just about killed me to get the box open and to get the crate out of the box. When I finally did, I realized it was A USED crate! The pan on the bottom had dog hair and hadn't been cleaned! See pictures below. I didn't even have my pup yet!! I was furious! This was a very expensive crate! On top of that, the bottom latch is bent. It still works though. So, I killed my hands opening the box, got a used item and then had to clean it because I'm picking up my puppy tomorrow. There's no sense in complaining to Pet Smart. It's obviously not their fault. My time is better spent giving this review and preparing this crate for Hope. Kong has a really good reputation which is the reason I bought it. Just goes to show you...you can't trust anyone. Update: I just called Petsmart and they were very happy to give me a new pan for the bottom for the crate, which is just what I asked for! THANK YOU PETSMART!!! read more

Somewhat inconsistent in service. It just depends on which groomer you get very easy booking, but the good groomers are booked well in advance. I can no longer bring my dog here because they do not have a hammock and she is unable to stand for the full grooming, I appreciate being given this recommendation. Don't use the Petsmart in Port St Lucie for your grooming. I had a 10:30 am appointment today and showed up at 10:00 am to drop my dog off only to be told I had to come back at 10:30. I drove 20 min one way to be sure I was on time, I know that when they get done with your dog and your not there to pick the dog up they put them in a crate. So why could they bot put my dog in a crate until they was ready to start with her, Instead of making me drive 20 mins home and turn around and drive 20 min back which would make me late. I will not only not use Petsmart grooming again but I'm done with Petsmart period. read more

This store is similarly well stocked, clean, organized and has a major selection of just about everything for dogs, cats, fish, other small creatures. The whole Booking process was easy. I Loved the ability to choose a particular groomer and the chosen of as services they offer.

Worst salon location by far. DO NOT USE THIS SALON. They refuse to make an appointment for pawdicures and require you walk in (and wait forever). I've been to multiple other PetSmart locations and they have always preferred an appointment for pawdicures. I now will be driving 35 minutes to the next PetSmart because they let me book an appointment. Whoever is in charge at the Tradition location needs to be fired. read more

Let me start by saying that the hair salon I do not recommend right now. It dies not matter I have taken my dogs there before. Whoever is managing it now should not be working there. I have gotten my handicap dog's hair done there before a few times. He is able to stand, just not for a long time. I made an appt on Thursday and explain again about this. I also took the express cut for $15 extra so he would not have to wait in a cage. My appt was Saturday at 2pm for my 2 dogs to be done at the same time. They called me early in the morning to change it for 1:30 bc they had too many appt. They said to bring my other dog first go home and then come back with the other. I accepted even though it was inconvenient for me given I was paying the extra charge. I specifically asked to not shave to the skin my Beagle. So I come back with my handicap dog snd the first thing I find is my Beagle shaved down to the skin and as the second gift they tell me they could not do my handicap dog bc he could not stand on his own. So not only the groomer refused but the previous groomer who had done all of my dogs before also refused snd Findlay the manager aldo refused. Is this a place I want to ever bring my dogs back? No, never. Do I recommend it? No. You have to live dogs to work with dogs. If you are not listening or even trying you should never be working with them. I don't care how beautiful you see your dog coming out of there if they do not care about dogs. No thank you PetSmart! Nice to refuse handicap animals that are also in need. You can keep you groomers your managers and your horrible service. read more

Horrible and unfriendly customer service. You can't help but question who is at fault. Would it be the business or would it be the individual. Who is the person hiring these people and why is this person in this prestigious and successful establishment if they do not want to work? And the Banfield hospital in general is what makes this place so disgusting. These receptionists think they have DOCTORS POWER and will refuse to provide assistance/information/a smile anything welcoming if they simply don't feel like it. I literally regret affiliating my poor pet with this place or the 1834 Banfield recently opened next to the Walmart on Gatlin and Import. read more

After having my havanese puppy for 2.5 hours I was called to pick him up WITHOUT BEING GROOMED. Apparently, they were too busy and made up a FALSE ISSUE to send him home (he pooped). This is the second dog we've tried to have groomed there and it's simply THE WORST PLACE EVER. read more

We came in for our training with the always amazing pet trainer Kylie she is the BEST and our boys adore her. We are now with anew trainer Tabby and she is just as amazing! She isn't afraid to get down on their level, play, and really show us how to be the leaders. Super impressed with her and her dedication! While at training we decided to get their nails clipped which is always a circus side show. Our frug Morty has been terrified of nail clippings his entire life and they took such great care of him. Yesenia, Amanda, and another young woman we're all fantastic they kept him calm, loved on him, talked to him, and in less than five minute Morty was done. Our pug Hamlet who is 18lbs soaking wet but he acts like a bucking bronco when he gets his nails done. It did take two of them, but again they were so kind, gentle, and were amazing with him. We love this PetSmart and all of their staff. read more

Awesome store and amazing groomers! We take all 6 of our dogs there. Megan is our groomer and she does a great job on all of them. From our old Shepard to our complicated yorkie-poo! The store is always clean and the people are very helpful. Prices are normal for Petsmart but they normally have everything we need. read more

We take our cocker spaniel Bailey there. Since I no longer can groom him myself we had to find a groomer who can handle him as he is hard to deal with, which is why I was grooming him. He just loves our groomer Autumn. She is so good with him. She tells us he behaves well. We were worried he would be difficult. If you need a groomer for your dog take him or her to see Autumn at the tradition PetSmart. read more

.WARNING!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING. I made the biggest mistake despite the bad reviews and I made an appointment here for my dog for a bath only thinking how can they messed that up. People let me tell you. These people totally destroyed my dog's beautiful beard that I have been grooming for a year. I only took her here because I thought it would be ok for a quick bath, Well not only did scissors somehow found their way to my dog's face after I specifically told them they were not to cut anything on my dog, they lied about it.,. saying the cameras captured nothing, I was so upset and the staff could have cared less. The salon manager didn't even want to look at my dog to assess the damage. The only thing I regret is not having proof on my dog's beard before they hacked her beard without my consent. We scheduled a grooming appointment for our lassie collie this past Sunday.  When we dropped him off the assigned groomer, Trinitee stated she was new and was going to ask about grooming our baby because had not done a groom like him before.  We clearly stated that we did not want him shaved and only to clean him up on feet, legs, and bottom.  We got a phone call from her 40 minutes later to come pick him up she could not perform the groom, as he was laying down and trying to step off table.  She stated he looked funny and chuckled. When we picked him up no other dogs were being groomed.  His back left side was shaved.  You never shave a lassie collie.  They have two coats and do not ever get shaved besides the fact we clearly stated for him not to be shaved. When we spoke to the manager of the store, he stated they did not have any trainees working and that the groomer stated our dog was flipping out.  That is not what they told us.  It will take numerous months for both of his coats to grow back. We are still waiting for salon leader to call us back. read more

I have been taking my two dogs monthly to this groomer for almost a year. When my sister-in-law came to visit, I booked her two dogs along with mine. I received a call a few days later to reschedule to another day. Then I got second call to reschedule to a different day. The day before the appointment, i received a third call to cancel two of the dogs; they confirmed that they absolutely would take two of the dogs the next day at 8:30 am. When I arrived with the two dogs with confirmed appointments, I was told someone had called and left a voice mail less than an hour prior to reschedule a fourth time. The manager kept repeating I left you a voice message.as if this absolved her of any responsibility for the inconvenience and that it was my fault for not being glued to my phone and checking for voicemails every 5 minutes. I am interpreting her statements as"you are not a customer of value worthy of basic consideration". I am no longer their customer. read more

I am a Tradition resident since 2007. I LOVE Petsmart PSL! I have had nothing but god experiences there- from Banfield pet hospital to the grooming salon. Everyone is friendly, and the information is shared between grooming and Banfield. I am excited about the pet hotel that should be opening soon. read more

Jodi is wonderful! I purchased the 199$ two training classes package and showed up for the beginner with my dog. After 10 minutes Jodi decided that he was a little too old (6months) and too advanced for the class. She ended up giving us more for our money by doing two hour long private sessions to teach him leave it and drop it and then he would be ready for intermediate. She was great with Summit and really knows what she's doing! read more

Just leaving Pet Smart at Tradition, in Port Saint Lucie Florida. I need to share how disappointing our families experience was. We purchased a Guinea pig 2 days ago. My son named her Alvin (yep she was a girl) but he was so excited to that she looked just like Alvin from the cartoon Alvin & the chipmunks. My son was in love with her after just 2 short days. He was extremely careful with her so much so he googled how to care for Guinea pigs & had us buy all the supplies weeks prior cage, betting, water bottles, hay, pellets, the works. So when she came home she had all the comforts. Well Alvin died today. We left her alive and happy to come home from work & school to see her dead in her cage. We go to pet smart to try to understand what could have caused her to die especially since we were so careful. We entered the store with my son still having tears in his eyes and his eyes red from crying. We encountered one of the most insensitive and rudest person I have ever met in the customer service industry - Jessica. I could not believe how she spoke to us in the store. It was beyond embarrassing. When asked her if she had any idea of what could have caused Alvin to pass away the response was callus, cold, rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. "I'm not a vet, how am I supposed to know" my son was devastated hearing this. I just dont understand why a person like that can be working in a pet store if you can respond to a pet loving family like that. Jessica goes on to further chastise us when were already broken up about the Guinea pig "maybe you guys broke its spine or something" I tried to disreguard her distasteful comments at this point because we barely even held her let alone taken her out of the cage to allow her time to adjust to her new home & were sensitive to her possibly being nervous coming into a new environment. But no, she didnt care to hear about that. Just felt it was necessary to announce to the customers standing behind us in line and her employee peers that we are a bad family. And Jessica decides to further insult & embarrass our disheartened family by saying "well we have never had a Guinea pig die from here before sooo".. I mean wow if this is how their employees speak & handle customers who have just lost a pet; this was disgraceful. I seriously hope their corporate office or president of the company looks into sensitivity training for Jessica and their staff at that store. We will not be going back there again. read more

Took my dog in for grooming. They guy cut a hole in my dogs stomach. They called and said it was a nick and the dog was at the vet. I went in and they have to put the dog under and give him 3 stitches. I called the home office and complained. No one ever called back not even to check on my dog. I'll never go back. read more

This is the worst path tomorrow night with the worst manager the band field grooming salon that's inside of this Petsmart the people are so rude they schedule you appointment but don't put them in the computer for the right day when you show up with your dog you are told that they cannot help you and you have to leave that you're scheduled for another day it's so crazy how they couldn't fix a simple mistake and wouldn't take my dog even though it was a mistake that they made I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know that goes to them for grooming the l experience I had with them! Will never go back. We made an appointment for my small dog online with Julianne for Tuesday 3p 11/24/20. We arrive on time we were told it would be about a 2 hour wait. We were ok with that. I described how I wanted my dogs hair to be cut. Short on body keep long on top so that she could wear her bows...By the 3 hour mark had not received a call to pick up my dog. I called at 6p. Julianne answered the phone I ask if my dog was ready for pick up. She stated she had not touched my dog. I ask if she had a bath as of yet she stated no. I told Julianne that I had an engagement to attend I needed my dog and I was on the way. I arrived at 6:28pm. They bring my dog out with all over shave...... Nails never trimmed........ No place to attach a bow... There reasons were sorry we were busy.. it's not the paying customer fault. $88.00!!!!!! Why did my dog have to be treated this way????? And Julianne was nonchalant no care in her heart. My advice is stick to your small dog groomers that are in business to care for your dog and protect there business name and reputation. read more

After reading the reviews from Dito and Teneice, I can tell you that those statements are far from the truth. Jessica, who works in the Pet Care department is extremely knowledgeable and has been in the customer service industry for many years. Her family has numerous pets including Guinea pigs, Birds and Rabbits, as well as other small and large animals. She also works for a veterinarian part time. She is very compassionate when it comes to animals, individuals as well as children. She is expecting her first child and she is NOT a teenager. There are many holes in Dito's story and find that her review as well as Teneice's statements are very inaccurate. All of the staff at this particular store, as well as managment are wonderful and knowledgeable. Jessica was very accurate in saying that she could not tell Dito what happened to the Guinea pig, only a vet can give her an opinion on what might have happened to her. The animals are quarantined when they arrive, they are watched very carefully and if they show any signs of illness, they are sent to a vet for treatment immediately. They are never put on the floor if they are sick. Some small animals and birds hide illnesses. So if she was sick when she left and she didn't show signs, then they wouldn't have known. Once the animal leaves, anything could have happened during that time. Stress alone could have brought out an underlining issue that didn't present itself while at the store. I am sorry that the Guinea pig passed away and I am sure you were refunded. I know that doesn't help the unexpected passing of her, but I will say this, I find it hard to believe that Jessica was not sensitive when it came to the situation and your emotions most likely only heard what you wanted to hear. Hopefully your new Guinea pig is doing well, if you purchased one from another location. read more

Took my dog in to traditions location had a appointment at 430 pm. When I arrived Isaiah checked in my pup and took my dog in the back, when he came back I was advised that Alex S . is on break and he has to wait until she returns. I was very upset that she is taking a break on my scheduled appointment time. I was given my dogs grooming bill right then before he was even started. So I went and paid for the bath & hair cut and left. I got a call a few hours later saying he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived Alex S. came up to me and started to yell at me and very rude. I was told my going is going blind, he is old and he has really really bad anxiety. I was told that he can never return for grooming again. Also she is a manger in this department. Well I have been coming here over the years and never was talked to this way, No one has ever had any issues with my small terrier dog. My dog has cloudy eyes he inst going blind, why is a dogs age a issue? also if my dog was showing any signs of really bad anxiety why would she keep on grooming him. she should of stopped and called me saying he was too stress out for her and to pick him up. Then she handed me the bill, I was so upset I already paid for the grooming and and is trying to charge me again. So I'm very upset with how Alex. S spoke to me and how she handled the situation. I will be reaching out to Corporate Office about her. If she is a manger in this department then she needs to be fired. read more
