Relatively new to the area and finding a groomer that I'm happy with hasn't been easy. Not that the groomers aren't plentiful but back home, there were so many mobile groomers that were affordable and here, all are super pricey so I finally decided to take her to a brick and mortar grooming place instead. We have been here for 6 months and so far, I've taken her to 3 different groomers. First one was mid, not horrible but not great either. Second one was AWFUL! Like so awful that the managers took one look at my dog and waived all charges and fees. Then I had to wait a while for that cut to grow back before taking her to be groomed again. But like they say... 3RD TIME'S THE CHARM... I had seen a poodle in my neighborhood and the cut on this dog was beautiful. I had to pull over and ask who their groomer was. After Gigi's leg hair and the one eyelash that was shaved off, finally came in, I took her. I wasn't concerned at all. I knew that the cut would be gorgeous because the way they cut the poodle left me confident that she'd look great! Gigi looks so pretty. The best part of the experience was that they listened to the details of the desired cut and nailed it. She's so beautiful and I'm very pleased with the results! They were still a bit more expensive than what we used to pay back home but at least the cut looks amazing. read more

Impressed by Fancy Paws and the friendly customer service. Cynthia is a pleasure to say the least. I have made numerous appts and had to cancel throughout Vero Bch. Much to my disappointment, you'd think that in a city that has a population of upper middle class and affluent residents in high positions socially and career wise. With lovely pups well groomed. **Hypothetically speaking, "They may be using these Services outside of Vero Bch". **Well, moving on to what matters here for you the consumer and Pet Lover. This is what it took for me to get my Beloved Goldendoodle Pup Hannah to her first Spa Visit. She's 4 and a 1/2 mths old. She CAN'T HAVE A CUT Until She's 6 mths Old? Why? She's a mix of Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle. ***The Standard Poodle coat. Would be ruined and she'd end up with a wired haired coat. She does not shed at all(I shed more) sorry, couldn't help myself. Chachi, stay on track:-() Bottom line. Took me almost an hour to get to PSLW. 100% WORTH IT!!! We were greeted by a happy to see us smiling Cynthia and a very friendly crew. A completely open work floor. Cynthia listened to all my concerns and cares. Explained very clearly everything she would do for Hannah. Gathered info from me. Emphasized on points such as NO CRATING (In My Opinion:-\ ): Another PC or Hmmm...sounds good word for Cage. "I don't want to be put I a Crate/Cage for 1 min. **Solely my opinion. I was informed it may take 2 hrs. Maybe less... no Doodle cut. Bath, blow drying, trimming bits of Sasquatch (crazy puppy) hair. Trim around eyes. Starting to look like a Sheep Dog. Nail clipping, filing and smooth buffing, ears cleaned. Etc... I felt comfortable enough to leave go have coffee and grab a bite. I received a call Hannah was ready to go aprox 1 and 1/2hrs. When I saw her she looked amazing no hair cut(Per my request. However, they are all familiar with the Poodle curly no shed undercoat). She looked amazing WOW!! All spiffed up. What a pup!! Her paw PADS nice trimmed of excess hair. I could see her beautiful Teddy Bear Brown round eyes again. Simply Amazing:-) *** And, Aloha Bella 2 beautiful pink hibiscus flowers one on each ear. Thank You. Fancy Paw. We'll be back in 7-10days for Hannah's next bath. She's Growing fast XXXOOO read more

I have never been disappointed with the way everyone here takes care of my dogs. The youngest is very busy and the oldest being her age do not care to be touched in her face or on her tail and Lucb has managed to care for them so good. Everyone is so professional and caring. read more

They did a fantastic job with my Joon today! Friendly staff and, I believe Lucy was her name, did a beautiful groom on her. She was pretty matted so I was worried dropping off but super pleased when I saw her. I was also able to pick up quickly and she came out with a cute little bow on her head. The first time was great, I didn't get her name .Second time TERRIBLE!! She made My beautiful Australian Shepherd look terrible!! The cut has no shape or style . It's all too short. No shape!! Be careful who does your dog there .They are not all good groomers. read more

First time used. I have to say they did a beautiful job with my mini golden doodle. They were very busy so it took very long to finish my dog. Brought her in at 11 am and picked her up a 4:45 pm. That's the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. Otherwise. Fancy Paws did a very professional job. Do not hesitate to try them. Been back many times since last post. Still a great place. They do very nice work. 5 stars for sure read more

This place used to be really good, I went to this place for about five years and a decline in services is an understatement. I took my girl in after she had puppies, her hair was a mess and there was hardly any of it! When I contacted the owner rather then wanting to fix the problem she threatened to post me on some groomers page as a problem, thankfully I have all our correspondence and the before and after videos showing that I paid 75 dollars for a 26 pound dog to have a bath and smell like a wet dog after!!! and bc of these videos and how the owner responded I have had no issues in moving my sweet girl. If you would like to see the videos or the messages between myself and Cynthia please feel free to contact me at ce3114@gmail.com and I will happily send it to you. Read the reviews on Google and see how this business would rather blame the customer then to take accountability for the lack of quality coming from her business. She clearly forgot what made her successful in the first place and I am not the only one!! BUYER BEWARE FOR SURE!!! read more

jUDY Fancy Paws in Stuart is clean and friendly atmosphere. I have used them for several months now and never been disappointed in their work. I have used several groomers in the area and non come close to the grooming my Giant Schnauzer like Christina at Fancy Paws. It takes special technique and knowledge on how to groom a giant schnauzer and Christina has that experience. She's kind and caring and along with her extraordinary grooming techniques makes my Giant Schnauzer look great and handsome. Christina is also great with any breed.. I would also like to shout out to Laura who also cared for my GS and again the grooming skills this team has you will never be disappointed. This is definitely the place I will use all the time now that I found the perfect staff. Fancy Paws on Federal Hwy in Stuart is the place to go if you are looking for great work for your fur baby. Thank You Christina & Laura for a great grooming experience. See y'all soon read more

Fancy paws ratings have fallen. Butchering to say the least. Won't be back. Recently picked up 2 dogs . No bows or scarves for what you charge. Easier to chop off everything even the dogs lashes. We went over what needs to be done and still a big surprise at pick up. The forehead was shaved in too much. No one calls to tell me you had to cut only to say we need 10 more dollars. Paws were not even up read more

The ladies are amazing with my Bailey. He gets taking care of right away. We love it and highly recommend this place to anyone that loves their furry babies. read more

Everything I said was true, and I stand by it. His cut is uneven, and he licked the bare spots because they bothered him. To accuse me of being a bad owner and worse, somehow bigoted, is unjustified. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish, so no, I didn't find your heritage funny, I asked because I was interested. I also didn't say you were drunk, I said his cut looked like you were. read more

In my opinion they did a great job. My dog is kind of a fluff ball and not too easy to work with for that reason I'm kind of sketchy about taking him to new places since I've had a few ruff experiences, but hair does grow back lol. Anyways happy with the work at Fancy Paws will definitely be coming back, their pricing is definitely on the cheaper end at least from what I've been quoted in other places. Definitely recommend! read more

They have no idea how to cut a Aussiedoodle! I wish they told me that BEFORE they cut my Maggie! I showed a picture of how she looked after her last grooming (done elsewhere). The groomer shaved her so badly she was unrecognizable! Aussiedoodles need their long eyelashes to keep the hair out of her eyes. When I picked her up her whiskers and lashes were cut down as low as they could AND her face was shaved! Horrible horrible horrible read more

Was able to get an appointment in just a few days. Staff that answered phone was very friendly. Due to Covid quarantine I wasn't able to go in which made me a little nervous since I wasn't able to see but that's not their fault. My dog looks great and the pricing was reasonable. I wish I had got the name of who groomed her for next time but when picking up they didn't say and I forgot to ask. My only negative was my dog was there 5 hours and I know she is terrified of being crated & the groomers in general so I thought this was a long time. read more

If I could give them a ZERO I would!!My dog came home unrecognizable. Not at all what we asked for. In some places he is skinned!!! Poor little guy can't stop licking in those places because it hurts. Of course she (the owner) gave the excuses for why they couldn't do their job right. We will never go there again and neither should you. read more

I brought my 4 month old Goldendoodle puppy Daisy Mae in the Fancy Paws this week after the General Manager at another store out in St Lucie West (the place near the Dollar Tree ) handled a situation that I had with the Groomer there in an absolutely appalling and incredibly unprofessional manner. The groomer was actually hostile because I didn't appreciate her blaming my being a bit late for my puppy's grooming appointment- even though I was standing at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come to the desk to sign in- she the groomer said she couldn't groom my dog because of the time and she said she was backed up with 4 dogs "in the back" that she still had to get to. I offered the groomer alternative solutions like just wetting my puppy down and clipping her - I had just Bathed her and even her nails were done so that could ha e been skipped to and the groomer flatly recused to work with me. I asked for the manager because I spend thousands of dollars there and wanted him to know what was going on - she had 20 minutes to go find him to escalate this situation - all while leaving the 4 dogs unattentin the back room - but she couldn't work with me in taking care of my puppy- her other excuse was that it was my puppy's first time and they didn't know if she was aggressive and might bite her - all while my puppy was up trying to lick her hands .. I told the GM this was just BS and if this is how I was being treated I would never step into that store again or spend one more dime there - he cared more about me saying This was BS - he said that was abusive language and maybe I should leave the store now. I am a 50year old disabled woman who has a difficulty getting me and my puppy in and out of the car - that's all - I didn't raise my voice or threaten anyone or anything - just said it was BS that my 4 month old puppy was aggressive- I reported this incident to corporate and told them not one more dollar from me ever. The groomer was overwhelmed and behind in her time management and instead of apologizing and asking if I could move my appointment out - she blamed me and an innocent puppy- Someone needs a career change - Don't bring your dog here to be groomed - it's probably very stressful for the dogs - and they are hidden in the back so you can't see what's going on .... read more

Great customer service and kind to my little dog. The nail job was perfect!! I will be back for sure :)

I have two small, long haired dogs. I've been getting them groomed regularly for 12 years and have moved around a bit in that time, so we've had a number of groomers. One of my dogs has terrible skin issues and allergies so she can be a bit of a problem. In 12 years, I've never been as happy with a groomer as I am after taking my dogs to Fancy Paws. I've taken them twice and they not only look perfect, but they clearly don't feel scared to go like they have with other groomers. My little shih tzu even got a special color treatment and she looks unbearably cute. Highly highly recommend!! read more

We are always skeptical of a new groomer and we haven't had the best of luck. Having a standard poodle is sometime tough to find a great groomer. Fancy paws loved our dog and welcomed him.
