My Siberian huskies had loose fur on them. Talked to manager at pick up just any excuse in the book. Supposedly the pet grooming guarantee only applies if they think it should. Save your money and go anywhere else. read more

Just picked my spoiled rotten sweet girl up from PetSmart grooming. She's a young dog and hasn't been to the groomer many times yet. One of my sons accidentally made the appointment here and I'm glad he did. The staff is friendly and welcoming to humans and calming to their furry clients. Helped me very patiently to purchase the right kind of grooming tools for my girl's breed. Super helpful. LuLu was not anxious or traumatized when we picked her up and I'm so appreciative. I took my mini Australian Shepard to the Moline location for the first time today. I was not impressed with the young girl named Becca, I believe, who had groomed her. She was short and seemed like she didn't care. I had told them to do the works/everything. I stopped in after 2 and 1/2 hours to see how it was going and the groomer was short and a bit rude like I was bothering her. I then came back 1 hour and 1/2 later to pick up my dog and was told I should have had the de shedding treatment done. I was a bit upset that me telling them I wanted everything that wasn't part of it and that she didn't mention it when I stopped in to check on the pup. So in all I paid $95 for a bath, cut, and nail trim and then had to still brush my dog out for over 45 minutes. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

Today I brought the dogs to Petsmart in Moline Illinois. I usually don't have such an issue although they're usually not very good they get the job done. Today I got a call and was told they could not continue to do Carlton because he threw up 2 times. When I asked do you really think I should come and pick him up while he's wet and it's freezing out they said I must come and get him right away because it's a sign of stress. I said it's also a sign of overheating perhaps he over eat he was fine this morning and I'm sure he's fine now. They insisted I must come and pick him up because he is too sick to finish. So I told them if I were coming to pick him up I would just pick them all up and I would be down after a few curse words of later. after I got Carlton home he was fine he had some treats he was fine didn't throw up again. Mind you three dogs costs me around $265 without a tip and I also tip around $40. Just wanted to let you know if you bring your dog to Petsmart You are also taking a chance that people will take care of dogs for a living don't know the signs of overheating versus a severe nervous encounter. Anyway F them over it thank you for the free showers for my doggies. read more

Worst place I've ever gone for grooming! I found the employee to be very rude and showed no interest in my dog at all. You could tell it was just a job for her! If you care about your dog at all don't take them there! They groom their dogs like they're on a conveyor belt! They don't stick with one dog to get iit done They throw them in a small cage and they do one after the other putting each one in a cage with a big blower in front of them! They said it'd be at least 4 hours since they dont stick w just one dog! I pulled my dog and decided to wait til my regular groomer could get to him... she treats him like royalty compared to there!! read more

We have been taking my dog here for nearly 2 years and have loved it every single time. However, last Saturday we took our dog and was told she's not allowed back on the weekends "because she's too social." Basically, we were told she isn't allowed because she is big and scared small dogs and wants humans to pet her. In my book, a FRIENDLY dog is a lot better than a dog that bites or is overly aggressive. Since our dog isn't allowed back on the weekends we will take our business AND MONEY to a groomer that appreciates our business and is willing to work to control our dog. Too bad, we were regulars and have referred many friends and family members to get groomed here. If you have a big dog that is basically a puppy this place isn't for you. They'll punish you for having a friendly dog that means no harm and has never hurt anyone. read more

I brought my female chipoo (chihuahua/poodle) to this location for a cut and wash. The girl who did it cut off her whiskers on one side, and her hair was uneven everywhere. I'm not sure what happened! I called the next day to notify them of this,and give them a second chance with my male chipoo. So I made the appointment with, Deb, the grooming manager. When I arrived, the manager was at the desk, I could tell she was instantly annoyed when she found out I was the one who called. All she could say was that, "if we wanted to bring her back in they could fix it." She wouldn't admit to their mistake at all! When she then looked at my male chipoo, she said she didn't know what we wanted her to do, and that there was nothing to work with. (He is a medium length wire hair, there was plenty she could do!) I told her I was going elsewhere. Her attitude is terrible, and after being in there twice in two days I can see that the only dogs they know how to groom are toy poodles. read more

I went to have my dog groomed and had a groomer named Devin and she was the best- she did an exceptional job- my Dog is my baby and must say not only was she groomed better than anyone before- Devin took the time to tell me about products i needed from Pet Smart and products I did not need- so I have been going to her for over a year and could not be happier! I spent a lot of money on imperial shih tzus and was very careful on who I took her too be groomed - I was Very sceptical about Pet Smart however after 12 people told me to go to her I would never go to anyone But her!
