There are 2 people that greet you and make you feel welcome and the rest walk past you like you are a nuisance if I find a different pet store I won't be back and to top it off some people that work they don't know their merchandise. They will sell you the incorrect fish for an escalated price. If you're not paying attention, you won't know until you get home and then there was no compensation offered at all. read more

Their cheap services are cheap for a reason. Very hit or miss, and when they miss, it's terrible. We have a rough collie, first time went in for a puppy bath and brush (to include drying her) and she came back pretty wet. 2nd time was good, puppy bath and trim no complaints. 3rd time bath and haircut. Was ridiculous. I normally drop off the pup, but my husband did and he didn't know exactly what she should get. Groomers are supposed to have knowledge of the breed, and how to cut even double coated dogs and showed gross negligence. Double coated dogs aren't supposed to be shaved for safety (they can overheat, get sunburnt etc.) and my husband didn't know, he was going off of advice from what were supposed to be professionals. Our pup came back shaved to almost nothing, with behind one ear being shaved to nothing in a chunk but full (not bother like the other one) behind the other ear. 4th time. Bath and brush. My appt was at 11:30, I called 1 minute past to let them know I was running a little late but was on my way. The call rang for a long time then when it was answered it went to someone talking about their child's anger issues and I repeated said hello, are you there. I hung up and called again. Finally got ahold of them at 11:35 (didn't bring up the 1st call and was friendly to them) and the manager said that it shouldn't be an issue. We were in the parking lot walking in at 11:45 and got a call back saying that they cancelled my appointment and had to rebook later. The appointment takes a few hours, around 3 hrs so I'd have to rearrange my whole day. The manager kept saying they couldn't get me in because the person who was scheduled for us had 10 dogs that day. Which isn't my problem when I communicated immediately and was told it would be fine. They said they had a time leniency, which they didn't even follow because they cancelled it before the grace period (since I called a single minute after the appt time). read more

This is not my usual PetSmart as it's a bit out the way, but the customer service here exceeds the other locations. I last used the new curbside service. I called, they verified the details of my services and actually got me a better rate on the add in package, since the app didn't have too many options. They came out and a few hours later I got a text with a link to pay online! I had used the online payment option once before, but in times like these, it's a winner! It was easy. Once I pulled up to pick the boys up, it was another call and they were out. COVID-19 or not, I'll be using curbside and mobile payment more and more! read more

I booked a training course for a new puppy. I went to a LOT of trouble to get the required vaccinations and get there on time. I live 45 minutes away. I took off work, my husband took off work and we got there a few minutes before our appointment for the first session. After we asked where to go for training, we were told that the trainer had gone home sick. No one had even ATTEMPTED to let us know the session was cancelled. (And apparently the manager did not know the trainer had left until we complained). The workers were completely nonchalant about it until I complained vehemently. The eventually called the store manager (who took my name and number but did not speak to me). She told them to give me a refund and a gift card. That took forever because no one there knew what they were doing - they would not even have done that if I had not complained. I understand that illness happens - but it only takes a second to send a text letting us know. The lack of communication and concern for customers there is appalling. Do NOT book training here. read more

At this location, in Hinesville, GA, they do not offer veterinarian services. However, they do offer pet training, pet adoption services, and pet grooming. I can't speak to the quality or professionalism of their services, but regarding pet products they have it all! I am thankful that they stock a hard to find dog food, that my fur babies love, at this store. read more

Called for information, lady answered and hung up right after, and now I'm left without information

I took my dog there to get groomed and they told I need to give calming pills. I have taken him other places and he had no issues. Those girls at the Hinesville pet smart needs to be retrained read more

I've been in twice, and each experience was good. The employees were friendly and offered help if needed, and the lines weren't long on either visit. I was a little underwhelmed by their fish selection. Probably the lowest variety at a PetSmart I've seen. They did have a really awesome selection for tank decorations, though! I also had noticed they were doing pet adoptions over the weekend, so definitely check out their events. This location doesn't have a vet clinic. I think they said groomers offer a military discount every Tuesday. read more

I have brought my dog to be groomed here on 2 occasions and both times I have been disappointed. Both times they were suppose to bath and cut her. However, I felt like all they did was take my $60 for just giving her a bath. I thought after the first time I would give them another shot but only to be disappointed again. I took a picture of her when I dropped her off (in the middle) and how she looked when I picked her up (on the left). The one of her on the far right is what she is suppose to look like. Petsmart grooming you have LOST me as a customer!! read more

I called ahead of time to see if they had my fish ahead of time and they said they did. I get over to them and they said no, they haven't had them for a couple of days. I drove 45 minutes to get there. They should keep better track of what's going on in their store. The only reason they get one star is because the girl helping was really apologetic and nice. read more

Customer service has always been good. However, sometimes the aquarium animals look rather sickly.

So DISAPPOINTED! I willnot bring ELLIE back. I paid 52.00 for them to shave her body and thats it??? Wow!! Her face, tail and ears had not been clipped. They said they had to stop because she kept bitting the scissors! Well arent you all trained to deal with animals that are terrified of grooming.. mind you this is not the first time my furbaby has been there... but these last 2 times have been a nightmare! Time to find another groomer or learn to do it myself!! read more

I stopped in to use two coupons which means this was bound to be a good trip. This location is a little smaller than other locations and arranged differently than other locations so I originally shot pass the aisles I needed to find. I went to use two different coupons for Blue Buffalo dog food for my pet. The aisle was thoroughly organized and while shopping an employee walked down the aisle. While in the aisle I asked the young lady for assistance and she double checked my coupon and stated which items the coupon could apply to. I grabbed my items and headed towards the register. I did however run into difficulty when it came to finding dog treats. Surprisingly they weren't in the aisle near the dog food. The treats were located directly in front of the register area. After I looked through the dog treats I was ready to check out. The young lady at the register was extremely polite and helpful. I even added to my purchase because the store had dog bones on sale (buy 3 get one free). The four small bones totaled to be $4.00. A pretty good purchase in addition to my other two free items. Overall this location deserves an A-. The store is clean, since the location is newer the urine/dog hair/cat hair smell hasn't settled in just yet, the employees are personal, and this location offers ShotVet occasionally (ask for the dates that ShotVet visits this location). Pitfalls, the location is a little smaller and the dog treats weren't in the most ideal location. read more

This is possibly the best PetSmart I have ever been too! The workers are always friendly and willing to help you with literally anything. The pet trainer was great in customer service with us coming in for the first time and offered classes to our puppy which we bring in every time we go to the store. Another worker who works for the Blue Buffalo pet food company really knew the product when explaining to us which brand was more beneficial for our growing puppy. She wasn't trying to have us break our bank in the process and provided us with a product that was in our budget and great for our dog. The store is always clean and has amazing sales almost every time I come in. Definitely the only pet store I go too! read more

So frustrated! Brought my toy shitzu to get groomed, usually asks for a 4 hr time slot! I dropped him off around 1:15'ish! Called at 4 and he said he'd need a few more hours!? Ahh I know his condition but in no circumstances does it take 5 hrs to groom a 5lbs dog! read more
