Someone with a dirty face and crazy hair is happy!

My pup and I love this place! PetSmart is literally one of the few places you can bring your dog into and not get looked at like you're crazy when they knock everything off a shelf or pee on the floor. This has been my "momgency" (new dog mom emergency) go-to spot. I've made so many quick runs to PetSmart to get probiotics to stop explosive diarrhea (poodles have HORRIBLE stomach issues) and medicated shampoo for a super-itchy-allergic-to-everything poodle! I love that you rack up points for every dollar you spend. I also like that cool events are hosted here from time to time and there are always sales and samples. They also have a great dog treat selection. I stick to the basics like Milk Bone and Puperoni, but every now and then I buy one of the a la carte treats by the registers and my dog really loves them! Today, I bought this huge container of treats for $7 with my $5 reward. I love savings! Way to go, PetSmart!

Do not let the groomers use any of their "new" scented soaps on your animals! Horrible reaction in our dogs left eye and now needs eye drops, hoping for a speedy recovery, will update soon.

Selection and variety is a big thing for me, especially when shopping for my pets. I've got a 90-Lb German Shepherd, a puppy Husky, and a 4 year old cat. They are all wonderful! We feed them the best possible food we can, which is definitely not cheap considering we have 3 animals, 2 of them considered larger breed dogs. My GSD's food runs around $60-65 in-store at PetSmart. I choose to buy it online which saves me about $10 plus it's free shipping. We've tried to get specific items here these past few weeks, especially since getting the puppy. Items like a slow feeder, training treats, and a treat pouch. The selection here on these items has actually driven us to go to different stores. They don't really have any viable slow feeder options and they only had one option for the treat pouch that was gigantic. Overall it's an okay store, and we will continue to come here for minor things, but any specialty items or big food purchases we will be going elsewhere.

This is mine and my pups favorite hangout! When my husband and I got our husky we were completely lost and realized we had no idea what we were doing! Everyone at this store was so welcoming and helpful with tips on how to save money for buying everything for the babe! We still visit here at least once a week for puppy training, but usually 2-3 times to get the dog out to socialize in a safe space! Everyone knows her by name and she knows everyone as well! She even now has learned the word petsmart and gets all excited to go! We are moving to Newport need but will still drive to this location instead of the other store just to see some friendly faces while spending lots of money on this expensive dog!

That insight alone helped us understand our dog on a completely different level. Her training techniques were clear, effective, and easy to apply at home even though we only have few sessions. Instead of just telling us what to do, she explained why certain methods work, which made a huge difference in how consistent and confident we felt during training. You can tell she genuinely cares--not just about training the dog, but about making sure the owners are set up for long-term success. The guidance she provided has made everyday interactions with our dog so much smoother. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and effective dog trainer. Thank you Dory! If you are looking for a dog trainer to help with problematic behaviors and bad habits, these are your people. If you think you know your dog, let me tell you from experience, you probably don't, but CCK9 does and they can help you speak the same language. Genevieve and Jordan are the dream team and will tell it to you straight. A lot of the problems we had with our very spirited, bursting with personality, smarter than both my husband and I combined, German Shepherd/Lab mix was rooted in the fact that we were trying to explain her behaviors by what other people told us about dog behavior and what we incorrectly believed. Don't listen to common misconceptions, listen to the dog whisperers. Listen to the experts. I promise you, they will not lead you wrong. Everything they said was spot on. Ella was our problem child. We adored her, but she was as naughty as they come and we just didn't know how to properly handle her. We weren't new dog owners by any means, but she needed a strong handler and they taught us how to be that for her. My biggest regret was not investing in their training sooner than we did. My husband was convinced we could teach Ella manners without professional guidance, but he soon learned that bad habits become hard to break. So off Ella went for a week of boarded boot camp with Jordan and Genevieve. They sent us so many videos showing her progress throughout the week which helped our separation anxiety and made us so excited every time we got to see what our girl was learning. The fun didn't stop there though. We continued sessions to keep our Ella learning. Let me say too, Ella LOVES Jordan and Genevieve. She gets so excited to see them that we joke they are her real parents. We love them too. We will continue to use them for Ella, our new puppy, Frank, and any future dogs we may collect over the next few years. I wouldn't make the same mistake twice. It's truly an investment into a better relationship with your family member. I tell everyone I know with a dog to call them. I'm telling you, too. I'm like a walking billboard for these people because they made such an impact on our lives with Ella. Call CCK9. They are THE BEST. You won't regret it. You will only regret not calling them sooner.

They had a fight in the morning and a second one in the evening. The dogs were left unattended, together during day play. The "handlers" apparently blew the airhorns to get the other dog to stop attacking my dog, that didn't work so then ran to get Adam. What if he wasn't there? My dog would probably not be here today. My dog and the other dog were put back together later the same day, which does not make any sense to anyone with a functioning brain. I didn't know the extent of my dogs injuries due to the attack. He offered to give me a free week if I paid $500-600 for the vet bill. Just goes to show you how absolutely money hungry he is and what he's willing to put at risk ( YOUR DOG). I took my dog to our regular vet that Thursday and he had to have 2 drains surgically put into his leg to let it drain and keep swelling down. Not once did Adam apologize for what happened. Not once did he express any compassion or sympathy. That's when I realized it's all just money for him. You and your dog are just another dollar sign to him. This is just a warning for those of you thinking of coming here. He hires people off the street who have 0 dog training or experience with handling dogs to work for him. He is an extremely rough handler, i've watched him myself. The things that are done to your dog when no one is watching makes my blood boil. Please think twice about what may happen to your pup while in their care. My dog paid the price, don't let yours also. They were very knowledgeable and very pleasant. Based on our observations, I would recommend zoom room for groups and group training. But unfortunately I wouldn't recommend private lessons. Our new rescue puppy did have some temperament issues and they said that private would be better place to start. The only training that was offered was click training. It's a very methodical approach that takes a lot of time and patience. The trainer was very well-versed in this method but the bottom line is that one type of traing doesn't fit all. This was the only method that was offered. They didn't give us the handouts in the beginning, which would've greatly assisted us assimilating the rules and expectations of click training. They gave it to us after three sessions and we paid for four 30 minute sessions. This sessions were conducted in the main room of the facility. Unfortunately, we could hear clicking sounds from people waiting for the next group lesson which totally threw off our dog's training and was an expensive waste of precious of time. So I would definitely not recommend private training at this facility - especially at $75 for 30 minutes! On a personal note, we eventually solved the problem by having our dog visit daycare on a regular basis. Our rescue puppy simply needed exposure to other dogs and a whole lot of TLC!

My puppy was groomed not even a full month before his groom at bubbles and bark so his groomer had a VERY easy base to start with. He's well taken care of and I brush him every other day.
