I have 3 dogs... big dogs. All 70lb+ golden doodles. I have never had a bad experience grooming them at Petsmart in Greenville. The two babies - 5 years and 2 years always go together which makes it easier. The older one, my senior - 12+ years is a bit of a challenge. He cannot stand for too long at a time bc of arthritis in his hips. They are so accommodating - they give him breaks every 30 minutes and makes sure he is comfortable. Makes me so happy that he is well taken care of. Highly recommend. read more

I took my small dog for grooming appt for first time and was greeted by sweet young ladies who made us feel welcome. One young girl that worked there was so sweet to try and calm my nervous dog. Everyone was so nice. Destiny did a wonderful job! My dog's hair cut has never looked this good. She even called to let me know she would be ready within 5-10min. I felt bad I was too early but I was not used to being called ahead of time. I loved she called me ahead of time so next time I will know to not leave when they text or call. Normally groomer calls me late and my dog has been waiting in a crate for a long time. I know it's not their fault they are so busy so we understand. I carried my rescue Sampson last week for the first time for a bath and toenail trim. They were very nice and did an amazing job. Samps is 9 and has health issues so I was concerned but he was actually smiling when I picked him up. Very affordable and sweet. I'll be back. Price was 1/2 what I'd been paying. read more

Worst experience at a Veterinary office ever. Staff unable to help move an account from my deceased father-in-law into my name. They were auto shipping 4 times the medication that our dog needed. Their response was don't cancel keep it as spares. Got no real help from both the front desk person and her supervisor. Will not be going back. read more

They were one employee short the day of my appointment. Their schedule ... full. They'd called the day before my appointment and wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule. I declined. I'd made my appointment on-line weeks before because their schedule is always full. The morning of my appointment, they refused to serve one of my dogs. Said he had too many mats and that I'd have to take him to the vet to get the mats taken care of. Unbeknownst to them... the vet (in the same store as their shop) had seen my dog that Monday and had said... take your dog to the groomer! Needless to say... I let them groom my other dog. A Bernedoodle. Bernedoodles have long hair. Thick coats. They scalped my dog. He now looks like a Labador. Yes, he had some tangled hair under his ears, but that's it. No mats. They didn't ask me how I wanted him to look, just shuffled me out of their store that morning with my matted dog. Oh! They left long hair on the tip of his tail. Like a joke. I couldn't speak when I saw him. I'm not a "Karen". To be honest, I was hurt for my dog. I didn't know how to react. I just paid, got my dog and left. Also, his anal area.... flaming red. I know they express... but it looked like they hurt him. I will never go back. I strongly urge anyone that's looking for a groomer to pass them by. They will screw you over for their convenience and do a bad job on top of that. Read the reviews ... trust that victims of their shop are telling the truth. Don't take your pet(s) there. Note: If there's a way they could be investigated for abuse of animals in their care... please advise. read more

I came to this PetSmart to have my sister's dog groomed while pet sitting him. I asked around and people recommended their grooming. I went online immediately hoping to book the groomer recommended (Dylan) for the next day. Unfortunately, there was no availability on Dylan's schedule for several days. I decided to take a leap of faith and booked with Holly M instead. I took him in the next day, first thing in the morning. Though the store was closed their grooming parlor opens much earlier making drop-off hours very convenient for pet owners. Holly was very sweet and patiently explained that the more expensive package I picked (FURminator) wasn't necessary for the dog as he wasn't a shedder. She proceeded to walk me through the other products and services offered that may be more suitable. I was so grateful that she took the time to explain. I ended up getting a bath and full haircut with flea and tick treatment and teeth brushing. I allowed her to use her expertise on the haircut given the current length of his hair and she did a wonderful job and got it done much sooner than promised. When I went to pick him up, he wasn't nervous or shaken and looked (and smelled) like a million bucks. This was an absolutely wonderful experience. I'm glad that I found Holly and highly recommend you book with her (or Dylan) when booking. A few weeks later, I came to purchase some things from the store and the service was absolutely outstanding. All of the associates are attentive and knowledgeable and always willing to take a moment to thoroughly explain and quickly escalate questions to the manager when needed. Their manager is wonderful, patient and willing to help. Great service flows from the top down and in this store it is obvious they are all committed to a quality experience. We purchased the item anyway, which was flea medication, which honestly we didn't want to with the way her attitude was and her unprofessional demeanor. I don't have any strong opinions one-way or the other regarding this PetSmart. I go there and buy cat treats every so often. I bought fish here once. Three goldfish. I bought them for the cat to stare at. Unfortunately, our cat doesn't enjoy just looking, he's kind of hands-on. Eventually, our poor traumatized goldfish were put out of their misery...but the cat was more interested in continuing to attack the little plant we'd placed in the bowl for oxygen and variety. Ah well. I always get sad when I go to PetSmart because they have kitties in cages and/or with FLV and it makes me sad to see kitties they're going to euthanize, so I avoid going by those areas of pet stores because we already have one cat at home. read more

I'm almost brought to tears every time I go in there and see the little baby bearded dragons. They're far too small to be selling for starters, but they're also in tiny enclosures and seem to be fed only pellet food. I swear if I could afford it, I'd buy every single one just to get them out of that environment and to be sure they're fed properly. read more

The training program is terrible. I had three different teachers over the course of six weeks. This morning I tried their grooming service. I brought my dog in at 7am, they said it would be about 3-4 hours. 3.5 hours later, they call me saying my dog wouldn't stop pooping because he was stressed. They asked if they should keep going or I should come to get him. My question is why did it take 3.5 hours for me to get notified? If he was so bad, I should have been called sooner. He had only had a bath by the time I got there. I've never been more disappointed. They will no longer be getting my service. read more

I don't ever leave reviews. Ever. But last night I had an experience with the grooming department that I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to say something. I brought my dog in to get a bath and his nails trimmed. He has really dark nails that grow like weeds and hates when people touch his paws. That being said we have never had a good experience with grooming anywhere I've ever taken him (meaning no one has ever trimmed his nails to a point where it was worth the money and my 50lb dog always leaves shaking). His nails have always been left broken and still long. Yesterday, however, I took the chance after hearing how amazing Augusta was. Omg was it worth it. My dogs nails look GREAT! I've never been able to make that statement before. He looked so good when I picked him up. Even better, as I was checking out Augusta was getting off work. She came over to the register to say goodbye to my dog and he actually got excited to see her. I'm hooked. I can't express enough how big this is for me. I will never take him anywhere else to get groomed and will only be booking Augusta (or anyone she personally recommends). read more

He said he would help me " out of the goodness of his heart" but that he did not have to help me. I just wanted the same thing I bought- an exchange. We went to get some hides for our ball python, naturally we stopped to check out the snakes they had in store. We were very disappointed to see that the temperature and humidity were entirely too low for them. I don't know how they keep any of their reptiles alive. I wish I had the extra cash, I would have bought them all just to get them out of there. It makes me doubt the entire Petsmart company and their knowledge/concern for their animals. They need to train their employees to care for the animals properly or they shouldn't have them at all! read more

I took my dog in for a shampoo and get his nails trimmed. I had an appointment and the groomer took more time talking on the phone trying to prevent a customer from coming in for Express Service, unprofessional I thought. After waiting about 5 minutes, I asked was this going to take much longer. I asked because my puppy is very excitable while in this small waiting area and becomes stressed. I am writing this review because I noticed when at drop of and pick up, the staff working with the dogs are not friendly and they don't appear to like their jobs. I just feel if you are working with pets you should try to make the experience pleasant. I won't return. read more

The store is like any other, they run out of stuff quickly, stuff isn't always in the right place, but it is usually clean. The training center looks like any other. It was built-in walls instead of just little x-pen walls. The Grooming center is awful. My dog came home cold and wet even though they called and said she was ready. saturday december 14th 2018 ...i walked into pet smart to check on 2 free guniea pig babies that i was promised free as soon as they were ready to be picked up... i left my name and number was told that all the supplies would come to about 150.00 bucks ...we don't have much money this year for christmas... so the fact they were free helped tremendously. my little boy was promised this by santa because i was promised by pet smart employees...who never called me... thats why i stopped in to check... after searching the entire store for help... i finally found the slime green haired college girl that was "manager"....whom gave all the guniea pig babies away to one person... probally to feed their snake with! she tells me its first come first serve... i said i was first come first serve!!! because of the idiot who hired this sorry excuse of manager and this punk slime green haired girl... yes her hair was dyed slime green yes she was barely an adult an appointed manager... my childs christmas may be ruined... this store is pathetic... they dont treat their animals nor customers right... they lie... and give people little baby guniea pigs for snake food... most likely this girls own snake... ive never met such a sorry excuse of a manager or poorly run pet shop everrrrrrr!!! she needs to be fired!!! and so do the rest they arent doing their jobs properly and dont care about the customers nor animals.... go to petco or anywhere else... these people dont deserve to have jobs!!!! read more
