Not a great store. This location in particular is always chaotic, unorganized and a mess.

I want to brag on McKenzie in the grooming department. She was very patient with my hyper lab mix. She was very kind, calm, and quick!

With all of these poor reviews, I will continue to shop elsewhere. They need new management and training.

We boarded our anxious, stubborn and dog reactive golden retriever for the 10 day program. Anna was her trainer and she is awesome! Our golden came back much more confident and able to follow commands. She did still require lots of at home training to solidify her learning but we can now take her on walks with much less reactivity. The group classes are also great as a follow up to the boarded training.

I just got an email from Cindy Hunt…read more "When you signed up with Sit Means Sit you signed a contract, we will need you to come by the office and sign a release from that contract in order to receive your refund. Keep in mind, the release also states that you will not post any negative comments on social media or websites and that you will remove any negative content that you have posted. " They are basically not going to give me my money back until I drive all the way across town to their facility & remove my negative reviews based on an extremely negative experience. I have posted the text messages I sent asking to book an appt & got no response. I sent out emails asking for help & nothing. It wasn't until I started to post a negative reviews on here that I finally got an answer. Now Cindy is saying she's going to come to my house & unless I sign some release form & delete my post she will not give me a refund. I also posted an invoice of how much I paid for this "service". They took my money on feb 02 2019. They didn't allow me to bring my dog in until February 21st. I picked up my dog & scheduled a new appt on March 12, I was unable to make it due to work & ever since then I didn't hear back. My dog became aggressive towards me when trying to use the shock collar they provided. I was finally contacted by Phill last week who told me I needed to wait for Cindy who was on vacation to call me back Monday. No big deal, I waited weeks to finally hear back, what's another week going to do right? I emailed this morning asking for a refund again.

Before working with them, we were struggling with his intense fear-based aggression--lunging, snarling, and snapping at strangers, even after repeated introductions. It was heartbreaking because, at home, he was a loving and well-mannered companion, but out in the world, his anxiety made everyday activities stressful and unpredictable. After spending six weeks with Manny and Kelsey, Marcus has made an unbelievable turnaround. He is now able to be in public without lunging, growling, or reacting aggressively. He is calmer, more confident, and better equipped to handle new experiences without fear. While we never expected him to become a completely different dog, he has truly become the best version of himself--happier, more at ease, and able to meet life's challenges in a way we never thought possible. The team at Humble Paws didn't just train Marcus; they understood him, worked with his needs, and gave him (and us) the tools to succeed. Their patience, expertise, and dedication have been life-changing, and we are forever grateful for the progress they've helped him achieve. If you're struggling with a reactive dog and wondering if there's hope--there is. We wholeheartedly recommend Humble Paws!

Manny is an amazing trainer and my pup loves him, he would get so excited to go to training everyday or as we call it "doggy school." Manny specializes in aggressive breeds, and while most places would have turned us down, he welcomed us with open arms. He truly cares about dogs and does not want any to be given up or put down bc of behavioral issues. I highly recommend humble paws, you won't regret it!

In Sep 2010, I took my Border Collie, who'd spent his entire first 7.5 months in a crate (so he…read morewouldn't get into trouble) and then 3 weeks with a dog that would start to play and then attack. My adopted dog was terrified of anything he'd never seen before (pretty much everything) and any dog who tried to play with him). I met Doug at a pet expo and called shortly thereafter to schedule an evaluation. At the evaluation I learned more about why dogs behave as they do and how they think than I ever had before. I signed up for training and had the first of 2 private classes that month. Then life happened and I was unable to return for the 2nd class for 13 months. Throughout the 13 months I continued the training exercises Doug told me to use and when I finally got back for the 2nd class, my dog had progressed so that he was ready to attend neighborhood pack. Neighborhood pack is a wonderful place and works wonders for all dogs, no matter what issues they have. Doug always asks everyone what concerns they have about their dogs and then we do exercises to desensitize them. I've seen very dramatic changes in my dog, who is now one of the senior dogs and a pack leader, and in many other dogs. Shy dogs develop confidence, aggressive dogs learn correct body language and language skills, noisy dogs learn how to be quiet, fearful dogs learn that they have nothing to fear, and owners learn how to understand their dogs better than they ever thought possible. I still take my Border Collie to neighborhood pack because it's good for both of us and we enjoy it. I love to see the huge improvements that most dogs make when they attend group. In addition, because Doug thinks that once you've trained one dog with him you should be able to train the next one himself, I've self-trained my youngest and newest dog. I took her to Doug to be evaluated for neighborhood pack attendance and she passed. Because my first dog helped train the 2nd one, it was fairly easy to get her to the point that she could go into neighborhood pack where I'm sure her fear of men will be erased as we go along. She's been twice now and has done beautifully. You can't go wrong with Doug and PPMIM!

I have 2 ragdoll cats, who are both very fluffy but have different types of fluffy fur. Mercedes does an amazing job and is mindful of the different grooming needs for the different fur types of my 2 kitties. She also has some special tools, particularly one for a thick undercoat, that makes a huge difference for my male cat in particular. When they come back inside from being groomed by Mercedes, they looks and feel the best they've ever looked, by far. Though I'm told my cats are well behaved during the actual grooming session, they run and hide from the door. To the point where I was becoming very concerned before finding Mercedes - she's extremely gentle, and is genuinely caring for the animals. She has a very sweet and kind disposition, which brings me a lot of comfort that my kitties have nothing to actually fear. Mercedes is incredibly diligent, the first time I booked with her I felt really bad because the previous groomer I had been using was hardly brushing them at all... so she had a lot of extra work she had to do to compensate for that. But she did it, and she did it well, with a smile on her face. I'm sure she's excellent with dogs too, but specifically if you are a cat person, it's worth waiting for her to get on her schedule. Overall Furry Lands has been great to work with. They're incredibly responsive and very friendly, and they've been super helpful in "emergency" situations for me in the past (ie, coming back from a trip and having a kitty with a big knot in a bad place). They've beeen a great company and I've been very happy with how easy they are to work with.
