Bishop is so thankful
Jackie M.

You have got to go to Critter Clips they are the best in town!!! I was a walk in for my bunnies nails to be clipped and Terry (I believe her name is) did a fabulous job in spite of bishop being a little rambunctious. The other gal, who was cutting Bishop nails also did a fabulous job!! Thank you both and I hope to see you again if you will allow Bishop back!! If you have an animal that has a difficult time getting his/her nails clipped this is a place for you, they are kind respectful of your animal, and truly love their job...and it shows!! Thank you again !!

I have used Critter clips for the oast 3 years for my Bernedoodles. They are reasonably priced and do a great job.

Hard to see in the shadow, but the "knicked" paw pad.

If groomers had state license requirements I'd file a complaint on theirs, but this yelp review will have to suffice. I should've heeded the other reviews. This was my 2nd time using Critter Clips. $75 for a large groom is unheard of, but shame on me because ya get what you pay for. After my pups last groom here I had concerns about a long scratch on his inner thigh, but understanding this is a school and accidents happen (even at experienced groomers) I decided to come back. I made sure to mention the scratch directly to the owner at drop off and she assured me it wouldn't happen again. Said something like "I know exactly how that happened, I'll talk to her." I want to emphasize my dog was not matted. He gets brushed regularly and the owner even asserted he was well kept when I apologized for all the dirt because we'd just come from the park. He's been groomed every 6 weeks for two years and is trained to be a good boy for the process. I say this in case they try to dispute what's below by lying. The owner even told me he did well when I asked at pick up. At first he seemed fine. I even left a tip! Got home and noticed a bald spot on his ribs where they shaved way too close. Couple hours later he's licking at his ankle pretty incessantly so I did a more thorough examination. They knicked the paw pad at his ankle on his front foot severely enough that a little piece was hanging off. Reminded me of when I catch skin shaving my leg. Luckily I have a doggie first aid kit so I cleaned it up and put EnteDerm on the wound. He's had to wear a sock all day to prevent licking so of course he's doubly miserable. There're also scratches in the crease of his thigh as well as multiple other spots where they shaved way way too close, all the way down to the skin. The owner checked us out at pick up personally and didn't mention any of this, not even the bald spot which would have been obvious right away, unlike the wounds which I can concede may not have been evident in the moment if they didn't bleed. In my mind these students had guidance and accountability when entrusted with peoples pets, but apparently it's a free for all back there. Don't event want to imagine what my guy went through that didn't leave a mark. Suffice to say we won't be going back.

They did an awesome job with my tiny yorkie ! She was in desperate need for a grooming. I was very happy with the results. Will definitely be going back.

I used the coupon and I guess That means you don't take time to do it correctly. My cats main was crooked, her leges were not blended well at all and her shave is not smooth. I don't think she was washed either. I told them I bath her and she does not need dry shampoo When I mentioned it I was told that happens when they get tired of being groomed. She has been groomed many times and that has never been an issue.

My old fellow Mars he goes again next week

Furry Land - So handsome!

If you have cats - !! ASK FOR MERCEDES !! ! She is genuinely SO amazing, I've sampled (so to speak)…read more5 different groomers for my 2 cats, Mercedes being the 5th, and I just pray she never goes anywhere because I want to keep booking with her forever!! I have 2 ragdoll cats, who are both very fluffy but have different types of fluffy fur. Mercedes does an amazing job and is mindful of the different grooming needs for the different fur types of my 2 kitties. She also has some special tools, particularly one for a thick undercoat, that makes a huge difference for my male cat in particular. When they come back inside from being groomed by Mercedes, they looks and feel the best they've ever looked, by far. Though I'm told my cats are well behaved during the actual grooming session, they run and hide from the door. To the point where I was becoming very concerned before finding Mercedes - she's extremely gentle, and is genuinely caring for the animals. She has a very sweet and kind disposition, which brings me a lot of comfort that my kitties have nothing to actually fear. Mercedes is incredibly diligent, the first time I booked with her I felt really bad because the previous groomer I had been using was hardly brushing them at all... so she had a lot of extra work she had to do to compensate for that. But she did it, and she did it well, with a smile on her face. I'm sure she's excellent with dogs too, but specifically if you are a cat person, it's worth waiting for her to get on her schedule. Overall Furry Lands has been great to work with. They're incredibly responsive and very friendly, and they've been super helpful in "emergency" situations for me in the past (ie, coming back from a trip and having a kitty with a big knot in a bad place). They've beeen a great company and I've been very happy with how easy they are to work with.

Posting to inform local pet owners. My dog Huckleberry has…read morenow been injured twice at Snazzy Snout grooming services off of Interquest/Creek Bed due to under-tail shaving that caused pain, swelling, and scabbing to the degree that he wasn't able to eat, stand or defecate for 3 days. Due to the severity, veterinary treatment was needed. Huckleberry was prescribed carprofen for pain and Animax (steroid ointment). (Pics are 2 days AFTER the carprofen and animax were prescribed). After the first incident, I asked them to note his sensitivity to prevent it from happening again. They did not, and the same injury happened again. No apology or follow-up concern was given and I was told to find another groomer. To add to this issue, Snazzy Snout illegally went behind my back without authorization and emailed my vet practice and somehow manipulated medical records that are now in Snazzy Snouts possession. This is highly illegal and deceitful. A PACFA complaint has been filed and a formal review of Snazzy Snout will be conducted by PACFA. UPDATE: Huckleberry is 100% back to normal and chasing balls and eating without assistance!!! So Grateful to have my soulpup back!!! Under PACFA (8 CCR 1202-15), grooming facilities may request proof of required vaccinations only. Full veterinary medical records are protected under Colorado Revised Statute §12-315-119 and cannot be released without owner authorization. Due to the unauthorized medical records request and the grooming-related injury, I am filing a formal complaint with the Colorado Department of Agriculture - PACFA Enforcement. Per Ally's reply (Snazzy Snout is not set up to receive messages on this platform) It was 36 weeks since they have been groomed by Snazzy Snout however it has NOT been 36 weeks since my dogs have been groomed. They have been groomed by an alternate groomer after the first incident happened. This is not the first time this has happened to my dog. Huckleberry was not matted as Ally states. Huckleberry has had a lion tail cut this entire year therefore the tail dock is short with no overgrowth of hair let alone matting. There was no matting whatsoever on his tail. Snazzy Snout called the shave a "Hygiene" cut. This has nothing to do with matting. Also, Snazzy Snout not once throughout all of this, has not once asked how my dog is. No follow up or concern about the dog. Ally also fails to inform the public that she illegally obtained Huckleberry's medical records which is illegal per PACFA guidelines. She breeched my privacy and confidentiality. This she does not state.
