I cannot recommend Spoiled Waggin Tails dog boarding service enough! She truly went above and…read morebeyond in caring for my two dogs and two cats while I was out of the country for six weeks. Not only did she take fantastic care of my pets, but she also handled my diabetic cat's insulin shots with ease and care, which gave me peace of mind. Throughout my time away, Amanda kept me updated with regular photos and messages, so I could see how my pets were doing, even with the time difference. It was so thoughtful of her to keep me connected to them when I missed them so much. When my trip got unexpectedly extended by two weeks, Amanda was incredibly flexible and didn't raise the rate, simply updating my invoice until I returned. I really appreciated her understanding and fairness. The property where my pets stayed is spacious and perfect for animals to roam and play, and you can tell Amanda and her team genuinely care for the animals like their own. I'm so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and reliable place for my pets. If you're looking for someone to board your furry friends, I highly recommend Amanda--she knows exactly what she's doing and will treat your pets with the utmost love and attention. 10/10, would absolutely recommend!

Our family had to make the heart wrenching decision to put our beloved family pet down. He was…read more14-years-old and had developed a neurological issue that was hindering his mobility. Dr. Knight is our usual vet, but we have seen them all. Dr. Clark had to have the tough conversation with me on how his condition would more than likely worsen and about his quality of life and age. He was very patient and empathetic with me because he knew I was not ready and we don't always want to see what needs to be done. We did a round of steroids and pain meds until I realized that we were having more bad days than good days. I could see his health decline as we tapered off the steroids. I had to let him go and I was so thankful when Dr. Knight informed me that it could be done in our home. We scheduled it a few days out and celebrated him everyday leading up to that day. Dr. Knight and two very kind ladies came to our home and loved on him and on us. They walked us through the process. They gave us all the time we needed before the procedure and after. We chose to do the procedure in the bed that he used to sleep in when it was just me and him (before I met my husband). It was his safe place. It was where I could find him when he wanted to be alone. He laid in the bed. Dr. Knight and her assistants stepped out as we said our final goodbyes. I sang to him the song he has heard every night while putting our small children to bed. Dr. Knight and the young ladies came back in when we were ready and they held him and loved him as they did the procedure. I laid next to him and just held him until the very last minute. It was quiet. It was peaceful. Dr. Knight let us know that he had passed and they stepped out to give my husband and me more time to hold him one last time. In a time of so much incredible sadness, I am so thankful for this experience. I am thankful he did not have to die in an exam room on a metal table. I did not have to walk out of a vet's office crying in front of everyone and pay out at the desk. It brought me peace and it was a beautiful procedure. Thank you so much Dr. Knight for all the information you sent to help me determine when it was time and if I was making the right decision, Dr. Clark for being so patient and empathetic with me, HCAH staff (especially the two ladies who were present with Dr. Knight), and Hampton Cove Animal Hospital!

Our pooch has been going to Hampton Cove/Cove Pets a few times a year for boarding, as well as his…read moreveterinary requirements. We've found both the boarding and veterinary sides to be professional, caring, and skillful. Recently, he had a weird, fast-growing mass between the pads on one of this paws. It could easily have been misdiagnosed as cancer, which would have led to the loss of his leg in the best case. But after taking a surgical biopsy they determined it wasn't cancerous and Dr. Taylor was able to remove it successfully. She then examined the wound every few days until it was healed. Now, he's back to his old, gooey self. I should note that he's a 105 lb. blue Weimaraner who gets pretty amped up for vet appointments. Friendly, but a lot of whining, very strong pulling at the leash, and heavy breathing. They know how to handle him beautifully, although it sometimes takes a few of us to keep him still.
