Daycare and boarding have both been exceptional. Our kids LOVE coming to Pets R People 2. We went to one before PRP2 and Stanley kept running back to me- I couldn't leave him. When they stay for an extended period of time, I get emails about how they are doing. I love being able to see the pictures on Facebook. I have not met one person there that doesn't seem to love their job!! They greet us when we walk in and know who to have brought up when I get there for pick up. I never worry when they are there. I love Pets R People 2 and so does my dog Oliver! I use them 2-3 times a week for daycare. I find their prices to be reasonable and average for what other daycares cost. What I love most about Pets R People 2 is that the dogs are out all day and never confined (except while eating). My dog is a 2-year-old terrier mix with a ton of energy. I've brought him to the other day camps where they only get 3 hours of off leash play and it's really not enough to wear him out. But he is ALWAYS wiped after a day at Pets R People 2. Other things I love: - The staff is super nice and friendly, and they learn your dog and their preferences very quickly. - They post photos of the dogs to Instagram which always makes my day while I'm at work. - They're super flexible -- I'm able to book daycare one day in advance if I need to. Other camps don't always have the availability. - It's super easy to contact them -- they respond quick to email and always answer the phone. I haven't used them for boarding or training but I would definitely consider it! read more

Vivi loves it here. We love it hear. Cage free. The dogs can walk outside on their own. It is like a deck surrounded by a privacy fence. They get to play inside and out. This place is spotless. There is always someone cleaning and keeping an eye on the dogs. They are divided by size. Vivi is in minor leave. She does get to play with other dogs so this is a great and safe place for her to play. She has stayed up to two weeks before when mommy had surgery and went to a place for intensive physical therapy. She is always tired when she comes home, which is a good thing. She loves to play. They are on Facebook and take pictures and videos on Facebook so that you can see your baby and know they are happy. Vivi wants to hug all the employees. I need to take her back and let her play again soon. I cannot imagine taking Vivi anywhere else. read more

Love this doggie daycare! The people in the ring are so sweet and the guy that works there a feww times a week is a doofus trainer so he's great with all dogs. I would highly recommend this place if you need dog boarding or if they just need exercise a few days a week like our doggie. PS. they even groom your dog if you need for an extra charge. read more

This is an extremely difficult update to write as my dog and I both used to love this place and the people who work there. So much has changed at their facility that I can't love them any more, nor do I trust them to care for my baby. Over the course of several months, I began to notice a change in atmosphere as I dropped off or picked up my girl from day care. Where I had previously felt that we both were welcomed, and she was with people who genuinely loved and cared for her, I began to feel like we were a nuisance or a hassle. They no longer welcomed her with enthusiasm or interacted with her on drop off, but simply opened the gate and ushered her to the back. I was told that due to a conflict with another dog (that I was assured was mutual between the two) she was put into what they call "small group" play, where a smaller group of dogs plays together for the day. I was told they receive the same amount of play time as other groups, but she was never quite the happy and satisfied, tired dog that she used to be when I picked her. She was anxious and stressed, and remained that way even at home. When I picked her up, instead of the cheerful conversation about her antics throughout the day (I LOVED hearing how her day went), it was all business. If I asked how her day was, it was a one line response of "Oh good, she played with so-and-so." The lack of communication about what she did during the day, combined with her abundance of energy when we got home and her anxiety, makes me think she was not being allowed to play very much, if at all, throughout the day. One day I went to drop her off and instead of wagging her tail, she put it between her legs and hid behind me until one of the owners grabbed her collar and pulled her to the back. I knew we wouldn't be back. She used to be so excited to pull into the parking lot, and here she was hiding behind me and not wanting to go inside. It broke my heart. I'm sad that I have to write this, but it is not the same place it used to be. read more

Our Charlie loves it here! We use them for boarding and he used to get so sick where he used to go. I think he was just lonely and missed interaction with people and other dogs. We drop him off and he bounces in ready to go and comes home so tired from all the play he gets. They always welcome him and truly love him! They are so good to him. We take our dog here about once or twice a week for daycare and we absolutely love it! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly, the facility appears to be clean, and my dog is always excited to go! It really gets her energy out and gives her great socialization with other dogs. read more

I am thrilled with Pets R People 2! My little CoCo is 10 months old and I was a little bit fearful about taking her to daycare. But I wanted her to be comfortable around other dogs and have play time, so I did some research and decided to try PRP2 based on great reviews, my tour of the facility, and also the wonderful staff. I am so happy that I enrolled CoCo in the Little League daycare program! She absolutely loves it and gets so excited about her weekly visits. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. The staff are obviously all dog lovers and they all know CoCo by name and make her feel special. I also appreciate that the dogs are all assigned to their play areas by size. I never feel nervous leaving her there, she always comes back to me a happy and tired puppy! read more

Before we moved away from Tennessee, my puppy spent a great deal of time here while i worked 12 hour shifts. The cost is incredibly reasonable, the owners are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and there's always someone watching the animals. Our dog would come home exhausted and happy every day i worked. I wish we had somewhere this affordable and awesome where we live now! Don't coop up your pack animal while you work. Bring them here and let them be social and active! read more

My pup, Willa, is a 3.5-lb chipoo (chihuahua-poodle mix) and very much a momma's girl with separation anxiety. Pets R People 2 is her first ever experience with daycare, and they have been fantastic! After switching jobs in September, I am no longer permitted to bring Willa to work, which has been a huge adjustment for us. I did my research before choosing Pets R People 2 (even tested out a nearby doggie daycare once, which was not a great experience). Pets R People 2 is on the lower end of the price range vs. competitors in the area, the facility is nice, staff is super sweet, and they keep the best hours to accommodate pet parents who work regular business hours (7a-7p = full workday + workout class for me)! The staff treats Willa like family. You can tell they actually care about and love the animals. Life is short, especially for pets (not to get morbid), so it's important to take your fur baby somewhere they can have fun and cuddles. So far for me, this is that place. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I moved from Colorado a few months ago and I was nervous about finding a place for my high energy German short hair, Cody. I have used Pets R People 2 for daycare as well as boarding (5+ day stays) and am always impressed. I will be the first to admit that I am a difficult to please parent but this place exceeds my expectations everytime. All of the employees are friendly and the owner is a great hands on guy who my pup adores. The establishment is extremely clean and smells fresh, a hard feat when dogs are involved. I can always count on Cody to come home tired and happy, even when I pick him up on weekends (which isn't the case with most other boarding facilities). I honestly wish I could give them more stars. The price is very reasonable and I appreciate that they limit the amount of dogs allowed to ensure everyone's safety. If you decide to bring your kiddo(s) here you can rest easy knowing you made an awesome choice. read more

We just moved from Boston where we had found an amazing day care for our dog. Finding as good of a place in Knoxville proved to be a bit difficult at first. As soon as we walked into Pets R People 2 and met the owners, Jesse and Tara, we knew that we had found a new place for our pooch. It has been at least two years of using Pets R People 2 for the boarding and day care of my dog. My experience and the care of my pet has been exceptional! As I make the turn onto Lexington Drive, my dog gets excited and starts looking over the dash of the truck for the building! She can't wait to get out and into the building. Once there, she gets lots of play time with the other dogs. During the warmer months, they get to play in the water and chase the water out of the hose. Mine goes bonkers when the hose comes out!!
