It is right off the highway if you exit 401 to dufferin but I think it's real value is being realized due to the crazy gridlock that is yorkdale. Take today...I went to yorkdale to get some items and was low on gas. No problem I thought...I'll get it on my way out. But when I got to yorkdale with the lack of parking, the slow stop and go and crazy reckless drivers hunting for spots, I was literally driving around for 20 minutes just tp get in a spot. And when I got out, trying to get out of yorkdale is like trying to get out of skinny jeans...I assume you have lots of stops and lots of screaming in frustration.... Nevertheless, out came my galaxy s2, on went the yelp app and presto, there was esso 3321... While I am no car whisperer, I could swear I hear my car gasping for gas as I rolled into the gas station...and felt it grumble in satisfaction as I filled it to contentment... So to the imperial oil folks I say, well placed good sirs, well placed!

In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

Since I haven't done my usual commute for work between Markham and Mississauga, I couldn't tell you when I last filled up my car's gas tank! Anyway, I remembered this Petro-Canada at Leslie and York Mills, and decided to pull in. It was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon, just before 2 pm. There was a sportscar at the pump across from the one I ultimately pulled up to. Gas was at 94.9 cents a litre. It has gone up a bit since I last filled up, but it's still pretty low under the circumstances. I used my 407 ETR card to get a discount on the price and my Petro-Points card to continue collecting points towards free stuff. I paid using a credit card at the pump. Everything went well. This station was clean. There was plenty of paper towel, which I used while touching the gas pump. It also has that lever that you can use to have the pump do all the work and you can rest your hand. This gas station has a convenience store. I didn't need anything, so I didn't go inside. It was doing pretty swift business. By the time I had left the place, there were four cars in front of it. There is also a car wash. I typically don't use them (I like the wand ones where I can get a workout and avoid swirl scratches on the paint), so I can't comment on it. I liked coming here. It was bright and clean. It also got me on my way to my next errand! (171)

Such as today, most GTA stations at 107.9; this station at 99.9! Sometimes it does post for regular price. I think it fluctuates throughout the day, but if you see it cheaper, you need to get yourself in here and not wait a second longer! Turning in here may seem like a bad idea though since it's right off of Bathurst, but I have never had any issues getting out of this location and making an immediate left turn at the next street. Honestly, if I know I'll be in the area, I save the filling up until I make it to this Shell station!

The price of gas is pretty much the same everywhere in Toronto so I wasn't wowed or ticked off with how much my total was. Inside there is a convenience store along with a coffee shop and an A&W. The staff are quite friendly and very professional. I go to another gas station where the uniforms must be purchased at Thug & Co. and gabbing on your phone while serving a customer is acceptable behavior. The employees at this Petro Canada take pride in their place of work and it is extremely clean! I used their washroom before going to work and noticed how clean it was. Petro Canada wont become my new hangout, but I was impressed this morning, which enticed me to write this review. If you're in the area, fill up your gas here and grab a coffee or burger too.

Touchless car wash in the heart of downtown…read more There are quite a few detailing places tucked away in parking garages, but when you just want to get a quick drive through wash to shed some of the salt that your vehicle has picked up during the winter, this is the most convenient spot. The process is a breeze because you never have to get out of your car. I'm just taking off a star because you will likely find yourself waiting in line on a nice day and it doesn't always get everything off.

One of the best Esso's in the city:…read more - Prices for gas are routinely lower that other Esso's in the city, and other independent gas stations - Prices are often lower in this downtown Esso than some of the places I go to that are 1 hour outside of the city - It fairly popular, but doesn't get too crowded compared to other gas stations - It's Esso/Circle K and accepts Shopper's / Optimum points - It has a car wash, although the line is really long at peak hours on a sunny day, even in the winter (try going earlier in the day)
