I live two minutes from here and although the gas may be 1-2 cents more expensive here than elsewhere, I won't fill up anywhere else. I got into my first car accident last year and they gave me great advice and calmed me down in a way that goes beyond their job as a gas station/garage employee. They are super friendly and offer a lot of flexibility for tire changes. I'll admit, I don't know the first thing about cars. They took the time to explain things to me in a way that I could (kinda) undestand. Great family-owned place.

It did. I appreciated his honesty very much because he could have told me anything to in order to make money but he didn't . I am having an issue with my car at the moment and forgot about his garage! I'm glad I decided to go on yelp because his garage was there and that's where I will be taking my car to get it checked . I cant rate the quality of the work because I haven't had any major work done there, but he appears to be very honest which is very important to me.

As mentioned in my earlier review, this Petro Canada has an automated car wash and I used to gas up at Petro Canada regularly until I no longer had a credit card (RBC credit card) which gave me a discount on Petro Canada fuel) so started going to Esso and discovered that my car seems to run better on Esso gas than Petro Canada gas (engine light would go on with Petro Canada gas and stopped going on when I switched to Esso). Since I still had some car washes available on my prepaid card, I stopped by to get my car wash. The automated car wash worked as expected. You pay and then you drive so your car's front tires are over the track and then put your car in neutral and make sure your windows (and sunroof if your car has that) are closed and the track will then slowly move your car through the car wash. My car is old so I don't really care about hand-washing or machine washing my car. The car wash did a decent job but I'm not too picky.

I went to many others Esso and they all were able to use it and did not even need more than 5 seconds to press a button then scan my card. Everytime they tell me my card is not valid and its a promotion that cannot be applied...then why does it work at other Essos???
