One time I bought a pack of nibs (you know, that CHEWY licorice stuff..) and the candy was so hard I couldn't bite into it. Umm... No. Other than the not-so-fresh candy, this place is fine by me. If I am getting a pop, some water or gassing up, this place is fine by me, but I won't even bother spending the 99 cents on a bag of chips that will be stale.

Moosi's is right in my old neighborhood and I would stop here while jogging. It looks a tad sketchy from the outside and is a tad sketchy when you go in. That's why I only stop here to grab a water during my walk/jog, I don't take my chances with the food. Gas is cheap here though...sometimes!

Last summer the Petro Canada convenience store by my house went under "renovations." The store…read moreended up becoming a 711, which I was excited about. I think most people have an idea of what makes a 711 great... $0.05 candies, Slurpees, and an endless array of chips, pop, chocolate and other goodies. This 711 is a "fake" 711. If you can get past the smell upon first walking in the door (And trust me, the smell is STRONG and it not going anywhere) and make it down any of the isles you will be greatly disappointed by the lack of selection and the lack of "711 feeling" that this store refuses to give off. I avoid this store at all costs now. If I do go in, I rush quickly to get out of the foul stench and usually forget one or two things I meant to get. Indeed, this "711 impostor" is not worth the trip.

They have 8 different flavors of slurpees, and fountain drinks you can get (Gulp, Super Gulp, etc) Snacks are always organized, the store is very clean (including the washroom) and they have a ton of magazines to choose from. So aside from not selling Diesel, it's a great place to stop and fill up your tank and your stomach

Their brushes damaged my car. Impolite and not cooperative management. No compensation from them. Petro Canada have small disclaimers (signs) inside their carwash to rip you off in case their carwash damage your car. They do not put many of those disclaimer signs outside. You enter and use their service and the risk of damage is on your side. If your use their service and something happens to your car, they are experienced: (1) They threaten you based on their small-hardly visible disclaimer signs; (2) they clearly mention nothing happened to your damaged car; (3) they force you to sign their inspection forms. Read the second page of their inspection form and you will be surprised. I moved to shell carwashes. Shell has newer equipment and better designs (touchless design). I never use Petro Canada carwashes again.

I was about to walk away when the man inside started wildly gesturing to a small, silver flap on the side of the building. The man inside asked (through a speaker) if I needed anything from inside the store. I requested fuzzy peaches. He scurries off inside the store... A minute later, the flap on the side of the building flies open! The man yells "BEHOLD!!" and presents me with a package of fuzzy peaches on the slide out tray. Low and behold, it's some sort of security measure to serve customers without getting robbed at night (very smart). Honestly I've never laughed so hard at a gas station.

A quick Google search revealed the number that called me,(780)461-2683, was the 1968 Millwoods Rd. location ... which is most odd because on this particular visit I didn't purchase anything and had no interaction with the clerks. I didn't use any cards, didn't put anything down on the counter and leave it ... so how did they have my number?! I can only conclude they rummaged through my trash and found/called my number ... but for what reason?! And when I called back they insisted they hadn't called me and then hung up on me. THIS MAKES ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!! Care to comment Shell Canada?
