For what you get, the price is very reasonable! Our group was a good size and very manageable to keep up with on a bike and a relaxed pace. The stop at a beer garden was a great way to cap off the tour. Our tour guide Simon really made the whole experience. His personality and knowledge of Munich were perfect to explain the history of Munich in a way that was educational and entertaining. If you're looking for a unique and fun way to see the top sites of Munich, this is a perfect tour!

The views are amazing! Lana had lots of great information on the way up and was quiet on the way back because a lot of people were sleeping on the way home. We got to drive on the autobahn and I saw lots of Porsches going at least 100 MPH. The castle was awesome, it is about a 30 minute tour and at the pickup spot you can grab a nice red brat. The have beer too. Definitely an awesome trip you should take and try to get Lana as your tour guide!

The meeting point was easy to find and transportation was prompt and comfortable for the full ~9-hour round trip. Lana was our guide and easily one of the best I've ever had--witty, funny, and packed with idiosyncratic Bavarian facts. She kept us engaged and entertained the entire time, even including some adult only material. On the bus, keep your eyes peeled for cows, alpacas, deer, and CATS roaming the countryside. The castle and Bavarian scenery are breathtaking on their own, but Lana's local-born energy and storytelling made the entire day unforgettable. Professional, punctual, and genuinely entertaining--highly recommend requesting Lana for this tour.

It was very easy to find the tour guide in the right spot in Marienplatz and we did start right on time with a large group of 15 people. The tour ran close to four hours. Several cultural spots along the way and a nice walk through and around the Viktualienmarkt. Several of the food items we got a chance to try were delicious and enjoyable. I particularly liked the fresh schmaltznudeln (a sweet bread filled with stewed plum - sort of like a jelly donut but not quite). The tour was A-OK and could use some improvement. The hour we spent at the pub with sausages was entirely too long. The fruit vendor was interesting but they're exotic imported fruits, not local to Bavaria. The tastes we got at the herb vendor were good, my favorite was the wild garlic. I've been on food tours in Copenhagen, Porto, Istanbul, Palma and Milan. My favorite was the Helsinki, which was all about the local stuff. This was an interesting tour, but I'm not sure that it met my expectations. [Review 12018 overall, 1801 of 2019.]

Hauptbahnhof and Marianplatz are only a couple of stops away, which is super convenient. The hotel staff was more than accommodating. The front desk answered our questions and provided us with amenities like razors and sewing kits when asked (I know, this is a given in nicer hotels, but it's always great.) The room was clean and spacious and had an alright view. The bed was super comfortable. We added on breakfast both mornings we were there, and were delighted equally both visits. The restaurant offers a typical German breakfast buffet spread with fruits, cheeses, breads, yogurt, and cereal, along with juices, espresso or coffee drinks, and off-the-menu options such as pancakes and omelettes. The food and coffee were wonderful and the serving staff was attentive and warm. Since many shops and attractions are closed on Sundays, we opted for a later check-out. For the cost, we definitely felt that we got our money's worth. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend the hotels to others.

The hotel is next to the main street, quite easy to find. It is not much around this place, but in front the hotel has a supermarket, it is quite convenient. It is kind of different with the Park Inn I stay with before, I did wonder if it from the same brand. The hotel generally is smaller, the room as well. But still quite clear. the room I stayed was ok, one thing bother me was that every time I opened the window, just heard all the voice from traffic on the street. Well, luckily when the window stayed close, everything was fine. Plus, the view from the room I stayed was not bad. My friends, partner and I stayed here for couple days during the Oktoberfest. Only at the beginning had some small problems to check it, it took a bit time, but at the end we got our rooms. The rest of time in the hotel just went really smooth. It didn't take much time to check out at all. The stuff were really friendly as well. The breakfast was alright, the food tasted fine, nothing really special and not many options they offered to the guests. I was even surprise that didn't see any salmon on the table. That was my first time, the hotel in Germany didn't offer that. My friends told me they have been some hotels that the breakfast had not salmon. well, I guess I was just pretty lucky back then. The hotel did offer free Wifi, pretty nice. Overall, I think the hotel was alright. The price is alright as well, during the festival timing. But again, it could be a bit more going on inside the hotel.
