Leland blue, a by product from the old iron ore foundaries. It's an accidental unusual glass, and a residual product. It comes in various shades of blue, green and purple and the air pockets create different textures in the material. Lake Superior Agates and Kona Dolomite from Marquette county are all native gemstones from Michigan. Gem cutting is a large part of our craft but we are silversmiths as well. We happily make custom jewelry from your rough or cut stones. We have been making jewelry in Beulah for 25 years and in the jewelry business for 36 years.
