Within 10 minutes of being seated, our order had been taken and both, our entrées and pho were served. The imperial rolls were HUGE and so crispy. They were easily the best, freshest imperial rolls I've ever eaten. I've rated them 9.5/10 The pho, I genuinely have no words. I usually like my pho with hoisin sauce, but the broth of this pho was too good to add anything to it. It was fresh, and steamy but not too hot to burn my mouth. I rated this bowl of pho as a 9.5/10 as well. The service was incredible. I've never been to a restaurant where my order and food was served all within 10 minutes. Other people in the restaurant would arrive and order immediately, then their food would be out within 5 minutes. I was truly impressed.

We were met by the server as soon as we walked in the door and were seated with menus. She brought over 2 glasses of water right away. We were surprised that we weren't offered an option of tea or water. We both ordered the pho with a beef rib. The food came very quickly. The beef rib was quite tender but with lots of connective tissue (which we enjoy). The broth was pretty good, but definitely nowhere near as good as many other Vietnamese restaurants we've been to. The serving size of both noodles and protein were very generous, but it's quite an expensive dish so that wasn't surprising. The washroom was unisex and was clean and tidy. We would return to try other dishes the next time we're visiting Montréal.

I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables on a bed of vermicelli. The chicken and veggies were good but cold and the vermicelli was in a separate container and it came out in one lump and it was cold. Both of us ordered imperial rolls. They were big but chewy and cold. I'm sure sitting in the restaurant they would have been crispy. We will try this restaurant again but not for delivery

+.5 for service…read more Looks like there hasn't been a review here for a while. I may as well be the first to say that it's "good", but not 5-star overworldly kind of good. The place is quite small and lightly decorated. It's a relatively quick, fill you up place, and the prices are middle of the ballpark. Not a lot of pho choices if you're an exotic type though, as they only have the regular deluxe, rare beef, brisket, beef balls, or chicken/veggies (plus a couple meatless options). Their pho is quite inoffensive. Nothing to blow you off, but certainly no complaints for its quality. If you're someone who wants a standard pho without any concerns for exoticness, this place does its job. Service is good, no complaints at all.

What a privilege to be able to enjoy well prepared Vietnamese food served in large portions. The pork served with both #49 and 58 were both juicy, tender, well- seasoned with great depth of flavor and texture. We also enjoyed the 3 bean drink. Reminds me of the Filipino halo- halo. We're planning to return tomorrow to enjoy Pho Anh Vu's other offerings. Stay tuned for updates. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

My table got the banh cuon mix, bun bo hue, and a mango smoothie. Food was overall good but the banh cuon was pricey and the mango smoothie has a strong yogurt flavor which is traditional but I wouldn't prefer it. The chu who was our server was super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the whole restaurant gives off Vietnam and it's super spacious! I would definitely come back again when I visit the area.

The selection of menu was incredibly special. The offering is Northern Vietnamese food and these special dishes are really hard to find at any different Vietnamese restaurant. Bun Cha Ha Noi - is also called Obama noodle because President Obama had it when he was in Vietnam. Besides the grilled pork, the hardest thing in my opinion is the sauce, which was good here. The only that bothered me is how small the portion is. We had to order extra meat for my daughter. Bun Dau Mam Tom - I have high expectation for a very authentic Vietnamese disk so I was not impressed with their Bun Dau Mam Tom. It normally comes with pork intestine. Where is my pork intestine? Haha Again the portion is also very small. Nem be which is similar to spring roll was also something we called at the end when everyone was still hungry. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive for the food and the portions are small.
