Ben going to Pete's for a few years with no problem Walked in and some younger guy at the first chair by the window asked me what I wanted like I was not supposed to be there. I said a haircut I hope He says rudely do you have an appointment which I've never needed before I said no So he had some girl cut my hair , she kept putting all these clips in my hair which I've never had done before. The haircut wasn't bad but I won't be back there again I don't know if this place is under new owner or management but the guy greeting me was rude and I won't return. Unfortunately I don't leave reviews after being a client for 10+ years with Steve they decided to make my appointment Saturday with the new gentleman in the front with the little kid.The haircut was ok but my shave was quite the worse with his child kept interrupting asking questions and pushing him which caused me to bleed on my neck once I got home my wife was very upset I had to pay 40$ for a service I couldn't enjoy and relax.I'll be searching for a new barbershop I hope this message gets to the owner so this doesn't happen to future clients . -- Larry read more

Elijah is the man. Old school barber with talent. Pleasant to deal with and very cool as a person

Went to Pete's barber shop that I've been going to since I was a kid. I entered the door and then Elijah said to me do you have an appointment I told him no I said can I sit around till you have time and he said no. I notice every time I go there he is very obnoxious curses like a truck driver even when there are children in the barbershop isn't a very good Barber. I will never set foot in the shop again. Hopefully Steve the owner will read these feedbacks and maybe his business will be better if he has a talk with Elijah the worst. read more

Been going there for just over a decade now . Since this covid nonsense forced this places 2 best barbers to retire the place has plummeted drastically in quality. Ive had 2 bad haircuts and 2 that were just ok. Yesterday I made an appointment for 0930. I show up at 0915 wait my turn at 0927 the chair is open and they take someone else without an appointment that had been waiting shortly longer than I had. Wtf is the point of taking appointments if your not going to give the time to the scheduled customer who was there on time. Its now 10am and im still waiting. 10 more minutes and im out and will never come back. To bad, Steve the owner is a good guy. read more

NOT a family-friendly environment. Stopped by a few weeks ago for the first time and had a great haircut. Figured I would take my little boy and we'd make it a father/son thing every month to get haircuts together. After we got there and sat down to wait, I lost count of the number of times I heard "sh-t" out of the barber's mouth, sometimes followed by "oh, sorry." Too little, too late, man. Then when the customers started in with additional swear words, I knew it was time to leave. Doesn't anybody have any common sense not to use obscenities around little kids? It's one thing if the customers do it, but the employees of the business? Definitely NOT a family-friendly environment. More fitting for late night HBO. Sorry, guys, you just lost two, potentially long term customers. read more

Pete's is a great place to get your haircut, just like the barber shops we knew when we were younger. The price can't be beat, $10.00 and that includes the neck area shaved with shaving cream and a straight edge. Took me years to find this place and thank G-d I did! All the guys are great and remember what their customers like. Steve cuts my hair and have never had a bad cut in the couple of years since I found this gem. The guys can also be quite helpful if one has certain questions...they answered a question for me about a service I needed done and didn't know where to turn to. Bottom line...a great place to get a haircut at a more than reasonable price from great barbers!! read more
