TERRIBLE communication & work. I hired this company to install a fence & they left it unfinished &…read moresloppy. They were supposed to install a horizontal fence with metal post & metal top rails. It started with the project being delayed for 2 weeks due to "materials not arriving". The first delay was that they ordered materials but they weren't going to arrive until 1 week later. The 2nd delay was that the truck with the materials flipped & materials weren't going to arrive until another week. I requested for an email from the supplier explaining the delay & ABU fencing refused to get me an email. They charged me an extra $2600 for "better" material they said they could get much quicker so we could get the project going. They added 3 different top rails that did not match in size. I asked many times to fix it & the refused to & even said the supplier said that is how it is supposed to be?? They left spaces between the the top rails & metal post. Their way of fixing that was to paint it... 50% of the panels are not leveled. They left big openings in the panels & did not care to fix them. 1 gate post is not aligned with the other post making the gate slanted. I have been completely ignored by the owner & unfortunately I paid him in full. I asked him to come look over everything several times & he said he is "too busy". I DO NOT recommend ABU Fencing.

A couple years ago, Darin came out and gave us an estimate for the same work. He measured the moisture content in the sub-flooring and beams in the crawlspace and determined that we needed to cover/seal the bare ground in the crawlspace in order to lower the moisture content in the wood. He did not charge us for that consultation. We installed the vapor barrier in the crawlspace and had him come out again and complete the job. We felt totally comfortable leaving him keys to the house while we went to the mountains for a week. He communicated with us frequently via text/pictures and Facetime. The transformation of the floors is simply amazing. The natural color finish brought out all the beautiful variations in the old one and a half inch wide pine flooring. Couldn't be more pleased.

In our 33 years as homeowners, we've sold three homes and purchased four, and this was by far the most seamless and stress-free real estate transaction we've ever experienced! Grace was always available when we needed her, and if she couldn't respond immediately, she would call or text us back within minutes. Her guidance throughout the process was invaluable, particularly when it came to negotiating the sale of our home and getting our new home under contract. Having bought and sold several homes since the early 1990s, I felt pretty comfortable with the process. However, it had been more than 16 years since our last home purchase, and a lot has changed in the real estate world since then! Having a knowledgeable professional like Grace by our side, who understood current practices and guided us through every step, made all the difference. We couldn't be happier with our experience, and I would highly recommend Grace Dayvault and DM Properties to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. You'll be in excellent hands!

I happened to see Little Wood Flooring on my way to coffee one morning and decided to go in and check it out. I am SO GLAD I did. John was incredibly helpful and even suggested a painter that they often team up with for touch ups and repairs after their work is done. 1. The carpet was installed and complete in one and a half days. 2. For our hardwood floors we decided to just go with a maintenance coat rather than a complete strip and refinish and they look beautiful, they shine and glow, all the dullness of age is gone. 3. Our stairs took a while and there were a couple of things wrong. I showed it to John and he is scheduling the fix for it. *The only thing I would say that they could improve upon is asking about what we want... When we told them we wanted to replace the stairs they were like okay we can do that .... We later had to set up a meeting with them to select what we wanted they were planning on just replacing the railing and balusters with the same exact style...luckily we had Logan come over with a book of styles and we showed him what we wanted...I wish they would have taken the initiative in the beginning of the process to ask "What style do you want" or "Hey there are a bunch of options. Let me show you" I would definitely recommend them to anyone with the caveat of make sure you remind them to show you options. Only showing pic of the stairs they were the most dramatic change.
