Lisa, the owner, offered me a place to plug in my laptop and work (great WiFi), served up a generous tasting of whites (delicious and eye opening with regards to Texas wines) and dazzled with her personality and selection of curated gifts (for yourself or, if you're feeling generous, others). I left feeling rejuvenated and ready to enjoy more family time (the delightful bottle of Viognier in tow didn't hurt). I honestly cannot recommend Murphy Creek Cellars highly enough and am already scheming on a next visit out there. Do yourself a favor and go!
