I had a technician from Rogers Glass come out to measure two rooms with a total of four windows…read more After taking all the measurements, I was given a ballpark quote of around $700 for the complete job. The technician also noted that the windows would need 13 inches of open space for my AC unit to fit. Three days later, I received a call from the office saying the price would actually be $800 per room instead of the original ballpark estimate. I was also told that even with the new double-hung windows installed, there would not be enough opening space for the AC. My biggest issue is that this should have been addressed during the measurement process. If the measurements show that the requested setup won't work, I expected Rogers Glass to offer a solution, alternative option, or workaround. Instead, I was left with a higher price and no clear resolution. I'm disappointed with the lack of communication between the technician visit and the office follow-up. I would expect a company handling custom window work to provide accurate information and solutions before moving forward.

Office staff is pretty nice. I brought a complaint to the manager and she handled it SUPER promptly and was very kind. There's washers and dryers in unit. BIG beautiful windows on the top floors. Option to have a two bath floor plan without paying absurd prices. Water, heat, trash, sewage is included. Cons: People speed and there's no place for kids to play plus a massive in fenced pond and a pool gate that people leave open. So not the best place for littles. Super annoying tough that the water keeps getting shut off. I would give another star but it's literally ALWAYS getting shut off. They planned it to get shut off all day on Valentine's Day...as if people wouldn't want to shower and get ready for dates. And then it always gets shut off randomly without notifying tenants and it's pretty annoying. I've had maintenance walk into my apartment TWICE because they went to the wrong apartment but the maintenance workers are pretty nice. Make sure you ask if you're in a smoking building or not. Found out the hard way that we're living in a smoking building with a newborn and a toddler... plus maintenance literally smokes in the apartments when they're prepare it for new tenants... Overall, I'd choose this place again for an apartment complex in BC.

After exhausting some of the regular home options, I came across the mobile home community market, and found a placed called Weatherstone village. This place looks so nice, and I didnt even know they were mobile homes until I went onto their website. The place is so pretty and I tried to schedule an appointment to come take a look. Sadly, they usually have no homes available, which means its probably a popular place to live in. After looking over the community with my mother I can say that I will save my money and hopefully there will be new homes available soon!! Manager was very friendly and accomodating too!!

Get flood insurance with your renters just in case. I pay $11 a month to cover $25,000 Grounds: well kept, plenty of parking. Noise: we're in the woods. The only sound is your neighbors. I'm sure if there were a 12 semi pile up on the freeway, you may hear that. You can also faintly hear sirens when they go by on 9th st or N ave. Utiliies: water is hot almost immediately, thermostat does a good job regulating temperature. Heat and range are gas, included in rent (thank god, cuz its Michigan). You pay electric, we use candles and natural lighting through windows and hardly use lights anyway. Amenities: range, microwave (in some units), fridge and good washer/dryer units. I have a 1 Bed and it is spacious. My fiancé and I are very happy here and our friends are quite jealous. The cost/benefit here is absolutely in your favor. Finally, my only demerit to give is the internet. This internet is called "Bloom" and it is the (in most cases) only available service. It is downright inhumane. $51 for 12 mbs, $41 for 3mbs. A speedtest will show less than 1mbs. So if you game a lot, watch netflix a lot or are addicted to porn, watch out, you may end spending more time "socializing" or reading books *shudders* Oh and TV is Dish network, don't have it, don't need it with an antenna and "internet" Overall, best option in town, there is a reason you will be on a waiting list. We got lucky and walked in at the right time.

The staff/management with this apartment complex is horrible at communication. I walked through an…read moreapartment and wanted that unit. I reached out asking which address it was to make sure I applied for the correct unit. Somehow they gave me the wrong unit, they didn't clean it and didn't help with the cost of cleaning it after I moved in. I spoke with the district manager and showed proof that I was given the wrong unit and pictures of how filthy the apartment was and she didn't seem to care about customer service or how their staff treated tenants. They decided they were going to issue parking passes for the windshield but instead of making anyone aware of this, they put tickets on cars without a pass. We went into the office and were treated horrible by staff members because people were upset about the parking tickets. My lease expired 3 days ago and I've heard nothing. I've called, emailed and sent text messages. Nobody is getting back to me. I showed proof of rental insurance and they still decided they're going to charge me for renters insurance. In the winter, you can feel the draft coming in through the windows and the apartment is FREEZING (Outside unit, which I didn't want) and my consumers energy bill is over $200/month just because we have to crank the heat to try to stay warm. Plastic over the windows helps a little and yet I tell them we need new windows and I get zero response. The only good thing about this apartment complex is the response time for maintenance issues. If it didn't cost anything to move, I wouldn't stay but I'm on a budget as most of us are and I'm wasting a ton of money on expenses for this place that they don't tell you about. There are also additional fees tied to the apartment that they don't tell you about when you move in so your actual rent is $100 more per month than what they tell you it is. There are empty units all over the complex where as other places have waiting lists. I now see why!
