I actually look forward to talking with them! Dr. Meadow's is like having a neighborhood dentist because he is so personable, except he is very, very good and always doing the most innovative stuff! The lobby and work areas are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Ginski is very nice and a good listener. He and his staff explain every step of your care whether a routine visit, follow up, or upcoming procedure. Your previous dental work is taken into careful consideration during consultation, and he isn't the type of doctor to recommend or demand an excessive amount of procedures. In addition, the front desk always provides an estimate of services if you're having to do more than a check-up. From a patient's perspective, doctor visits aren't always easy so it is important to have a doctor that you can talk to and that can talk to you as every doctor doesn't always have both knowledge AND bedside manner. If you're in search of a new dentist, check him out. That and side note, you can go shopping after your visit since Eastgate Shopping Center is right across the street.

Jessie, who was my hygienist today, was a joy and a blessing - she was diligent, thorough, and careful in cleaning my teeth. They felt so much better when she was done. She was also super encouraging (acknowledging what was going well with my teeth) and graciously forthcoming (identifying where I could make adjustments for even better outcomes). She also shared lots of sample products (proxy brush, brush handle, toothpaste, etc.) to support my dental care at home. Dr. Ginski is a great listener and he always takes time to explain things and provide options that address my needs and concerns. It's also apparent that he stays abreast of changes in the field, as they are consistently upgrading their tools and practices while also be thoughtful about keeping my costs as low as feasible. Whenever I'd had a dental procedure under his care, I have been well-prepared for the process and I have appreciated the results. Moreover, this team keeps me on track; thus, procedures beyond cleaning are quite rare. Ms. Katrina, who manages the billing and insurance is also helpful and ensures that there are no surprises when it comes to payments. In short, I feel safe with this care team and trust their guidance. I am deeply grateful to Ginski Family Dentistry for their partnership--I couldn't ask for a better dental care team.

To make matters worse I noticed a weird grey discoloration on that tooth to which she said she could fix it by redrilling because she "used the wrong stuff to fill it". Little did I know that her way of fixing it would cause me to have a root canal because she irritated the pulp in my tooth to the point where I was in agonizing pain. Why she would think it would be a good idea to drill on my tooth a day after I got the filling I'll never know. From the minute you arrive until you leave, you are met with kindness, understanding, engagement, and just stellar service overall. Even the front desk personnel are a delight. Take a moment to talk to them, especially Tiffany. Now let's talk about the dental experience. I always have a terrific experience with the hygienist, Michelle. Every time I have an appointment, I feel like I'm catching up with an old friend who happens to clean my teeth. Dr. Damron is a very patient, understanding, reassuring, and a kind dentist. I've had several different services and have never had any issues. He always seems to go out of his way to make sure I'm comfortable and I've never been in any pain. Believe it or not- I've even had a minor filling done with no numbing or anything! Dr. Damron explained how shallow the filling was and reassured me that I'd feel nothing. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I appreciated that he felt like I didn't need an unnecessary shot... so I agreed. And guess what?! I felt nothing! Oh and if you ever find yourself nervous during a procedure- or even a cleaning, ask if you can wear an X-ray apron. It's got some weight to it and someone who worked there suggested it before because it's almost like a weighted calming blanket. Rest assured this practice and its staff care about you as a person and as a patient. They do not try to offer unnecessary services and they also are good about presenting alternatives. Seriously.
