We had Scott come to our house for an estimate regarding a few small projects (hanging a door, minor gutter repair, etc.) and he said he'd get back to us within a few days with a price and date to do the work. Ten days passed with nothing. So I emailed, and two weeks later, still no response. I understand that schedules change and can be tough to manage - and there may be some jobs that a contractor is unequipped or uninterested in doing. But to promise someone service, leave them hanging for weeks without even giving the courtesy of a "sorry, I can't do it" message" is dishonest, unacceptable and unprofessional. I'd give Zero stars if the app would permit it.

They came out spent the entire day working on pipes etc, never once mentioning what they were doing or expected costs. Several hours later the owner presents me with a number, (no invoice, breakdown anything), of approx. $1800. I was appalled, as I just got paid and that was my entire paycheck for the next 2 weeks. Within an hour, I had no water and they had to return. Now, I have a leak which the new well company believes is from BCWD, banging on the piping. I equate this to taking your car to the garage for an oil change, and when you pick it up the mechanic hands you a bill for $2K for work he thought you might like.

I had an awful experience here. The woman who runs this dry cleaner seems pleasant at first, but as…read moresoon as she had to deal with a problem, she became rude, condescending, and extremely unprofessional. I came in to have a pair of shorts altered. When they were ready, the back of the shorts was bunched in the middle, making it look like the shorts were permanently wedged in an awkward place. When I pointed this out to the owner, she looked at it for a minute but then said that she could not fix it. I asked for a refund since the shorts were now unwearable. She began to berate me in a loud voice, talking over me for the next thirty minutes. When I tried to explain to her why I couldn't wear the shorts, she responded "That's your problem, not my problem." She also told me "You do not think" and "I'm going to educate you about how things work." I became visibly upset and asked her to please stop speaking to me this way and just to refund my money. She said no again and "People like you only think about yourself." This personal attack came completely out of nowhere and felt very unprofessional. In the end, she only gave me half of my money back, and I'm left with a pair of shorts that I still can't wear. I wish I'd never trusted this place with my clothing. I do not recommend having alterations or dry cleaning done here. Instead of correcting a mistake, they will attack you and blame you for the problem.
