We always enjoy coming here to eat pizza. The place is remodeled and looks much more spacious and comfortable, which is a great plus for families. The pizza and wings are quite good, although this time the pizza was not as hot as other times. The games for children are fun and there is a good variety, although at times it was noticed that there was a lack of staff to attend to certain areas such as the carousel. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, although it would be good to see more organization in the party and games areas. Still, it's a good place to spend an afternoon with your family. Peter Piper Pizza the right place to be a kid! We celebrated my daughter's birthday here and planning it on the fly was awesome! We came after lunch hour so we were the only ones ordering on a Friday afternoon. No line, no fuss. The cashier was a little out of it but was able to explain how a lot of things worked there because it just looked like a giant cafeteria so anyone can sit anywhere even where they had children's names printed on cardboard you couldn't tell if there was a party there and how many tables were gonna be used. There was trash laying under the benches. No balloons to tell where the party started or ended. There wasn't a separation of planned parties from walk-ins so its easy to confuse costumers as I've read in other reviews. We grabbed a booth by the wall to watch the kids play but the windows aren't low enough to interact with them through them. Finished eating my salad and our pizza. Pizza was a little too salty for my taste but salad was very fresh! Kids ran off to the games with their tokens and of course I was with them the whole time to pick up their tickets. My son's game ran out of tokens on his machine and was met by an attendant behind the counter, who had low energy who didn't seem to not like his job too much. So I had to ask the attendant again to refill the tickets and got the same barely there answer. Anywho we also attempted several times to get on the carrousel but no one was there for the ride, finally the girl that helped us earlier went by to help. Place seemed like there was low in staff or something because the same girl that had just arrived was doing everything...awesome but where was the other staff to back her up? When we went to get our prizes there was little, to no lighting in the prize area, a little sketchy if you ask me because kids were intimidated in picking up prizes and I realized it was lighting met with the low attitude from the attendants minus the girl in glasses who smiled at us. Restrooms are very clean seemed to give them a lot of maintenance, which is great fir a family environment. I was really impressed that they had a designated piñata corner for parties. Loved that! I'd never seen that but awesome and good to know! Over all we had a good experience even if there are so many details that need to be fixed to get people to actually enjoy their experience here and leave better reviews. Hope to come back and see some improvements for our next celebration as we want to try those bumper cars next time around visiting PPP. read more

It's always crowded and you have to get in where you fit in. You share long cafeteria style tables (like the ones in school) with multiple families. There is no employees assisting you, it's up to you to navigate the crowds and fight for a spot to eat. Lines are long and once you order you wait for them to call your name to pick up your order. If there is multiple orders being called it's hard to decipher what pizza is your. Some have receipts on it, some don't. Pizza was good, I did get a special order. I ordered a regular salad, it was assumed I wanted a side salad. Pretty difficult sorting out this out. I understood that there would be a difference needing to be paid. They kept on assuming I didn't want to pay the difference (maybe a language barrier, I don't speak Spanish and the cashier didn't really speak English) and that I was charged for a side salad. Oh, Peter Piper Pizza brought me back to memory lane of my childhood! However, this Peter Piper location looked like it hasn't been updated or upgraded since it first opened. It could use some renovation and furniture replacement. The pizzas were still good! My party and I were so busy enjoying the pizza that we actually had a moment of quiet and peace. You just wanted to savor the pizza. Then, like a second later, the kids jumped up and ran to the other side to play games. The food here is okay; it makes the kids happy. Reason for my 2 star review, is due with the limited places to take kids for a fun time here in Brownsville, you would think Peter Piper would make sure that ALL their game machines and RIDES were in 100% working order. "Good for groups" More like, just good for kid parties. I went with about 10 people. No where to sit due to over crowdedness of the parties. Here's what happened in my visit: I take my family and boyfriends family to dinner here, as I am out of town all of the time and I come very little to visit them. The mood was set, and everyone was enjoying their pizza. (even though they messed up our order twice) Then, i think a "manager" came up to us to tell us that we can not sit where we were sitting because it had a table from like 3 feet away attached to ours. The table was already like that meaning the people before us had done that. So we looked at her super confused. Where else were we supposed to sit???? In 2 different tables away from each other? I spent way too much money here on insignificant PIZZA to be told to move tables that took me forever to find!!!!!!! The service was so terrible, the lady could have been more discreet about it or something instead of yelling it out in front of everyone. That's not the worst part. Another family did THE SAME EXACT THING in front of their eyes. Not once did they tell them something. Was it something personal against us? One thing is for sure, it really killed the happy mood we had going on. And it made us almost want to leave. I wish I could get some type of refund for the $200 I spent here, because it was NOT worth it. Visited this location for the last time. The prices are too high, the staff is rude, the food was not worth the cost. I had been having birthday parties here so I didn't have five hours of cleaning after the party. The bill was easily a few hundred bucks each time.
