Little kids love it, babies don't. I know that parents are always happy to find a ride that the baby is allowed to come with. But it is PITCH BLACK in there! You have to hold your little one pretty high up on your lap so they can see over and under the flying ship at the glow-in-the-dark objects below. If they don't focus on them in time, they just see black and freak out. Fair warning! But children old enough to have seen and REMEMBER the movie, think it is just AWESOME that they are flying through Peter Pan's story. Definitely fast pass. read more

Long wait, just like at Disneyland.. you ride in a pirate ship that is on an overhead rail, just like the original. But the path you take is a bit different, though the characters involved are the same. It's still magical and fun. However, not worth the 55+ minute wait. I have come to Disney since I was a kid and I always avoided this ride because it always had a long line and I thought it was geared more for little kids. Wow, I had really been missing out. It's truly like magic. I would say this is the most representational ride of Disney World. The magic is here. I have read a few reviews that say there should be some upkeep on this ride. While this may be the case, it does not take away from the magic that you will experience while here. The vehicles you go on are ''anchored'' from above so you really are flying. You fly over London, my favorite part of the ride and you go through Neverland and of course see Peter Pan and Captain Hook etc. Definitely worth it and get a fast pass if you can. This ride is always packed, so make sure you Fast Pass it. Unless you like standing in a line for over an hour. This is another classic ride for both adults and kids. Relive the story of Peter Pan and believe you can fly. I love the beginning of the ride soaring over London and my daughter loves Tic Tok trying to eat Capt Hook. Opps...I hope I didn't spoil it for anyone. It is amazing to ride on this ride with your kids and think when I was a kid I rode on here with my parents. Which leads me to a funny story. My Mom was not a ride person...she didn't like spinning rides, fast rides, water rides or roller coasters. My Dad talked her into going on Peter Pan's Flight. She reluctantly got on the pirate ship. I think she thought it was a water ride. As the Pirate ship flew into the air, I can still here her screaming at my Dad, "Nick!!! You said this ride didn't go up in the air!!!" A classic moment I will never forget. Sometimes I say, "Nick!!!" as the ride takes off and it makes my wife smile. The Magic Kingdom builds memories that last a lifetime. read more

Alright, it doesn't matter what time you go to magic kingdom, the line for this ride is always long! If you can get a fast pass for this ride and not stand in the line for so long then you will enjoy the ride. If you wait in the line for 1-3 hours then you will be extremely disappointed. I always get a fast pass therefore I always enjoy the cool floating boat ride over the Peter Pan scenes. My daughter who is 4 loves it! It's definitely a must see especially since it's one of the older rides. I will probably never wait in the super long line for it but I'll go every time I get a fast pass. read more

Let's face it, unless you're a small child or own a small child, Fantasyland is a dead zone in an otherwise wonderful Kingdom of Magic. Peter Pan's Flight is the only saving grace here if you're over 4' tall. You're flying! That's right, you're hovering in a magical craft at least 20 feet above animatronic Peter Pan characters. There is a lot of black light usage here, an element some of us appreciate more than others. OK, so it's dated and you can totally see A/C vents and staircases, but you can still lose yourself if you try. The flying aspect is kind of a unique one in theme park rides, so much so that I was transfixed and audibly groaned as the ride came to an end. There was a time when a ride attendant would see my smiling face and allow me to stay on the ride. Those days are gone, and I was met instead by a scowl. If Disney ever threatens to tear this ride to the ground, I will chain myself to it in protest. Please be kind and bring me cookies and beer. read more

A much better ride at Word than Land. The ride at World if don't get the fast pass has a much better and more air conditioned line. The wait for this line is long most days. Fast pass it if you can but you will miss out on the mostly enjoyable line experience. One of my more favorite rides at The Kingdom as you go through the story of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and the horrible Captain Hook. Disney World is way better than Land on this one. read more

Unlike some of the classic dark rides in the Magic Kingdom, Peter Pan has started to lose some of it's luster after all these years and little tweaks should be in order to give it that kick it deserves. I still enjoy a lot of what it has to offer it terms of classic scenes portrayed with phospho-luminescence and repetitious sound clips but when they ramp up the speed on busy days (first time I had experienced that) the ride is sickening and you can't enjoy the old school details. At his point, I think I'll start passing on the Peter Pan ride especially when it is sped up (although I'm not sure how to know when they do that....maybe some website keeps track of it?) and pay attention to see if they do any updates over the next few years. read more

Peter Pan's flight is a Disney classic, so I like to ride it at least once while I'm there. It's dated, and the premise and design shows just how far Dinsey attractions have come. That said, on my last trip (over Christmas) there was a 3 hour wait for this ride - that's insane, it's absolutely not worth that much time. Grab a fastpass (they are free!) or wait till late at night (when most of the kids have gone home) to ride this one. read more

Cute ride for kids, and maybe even the adults too. The little cars that seat 2-3 people do light flys and dips as you move through. It's not very long though and maybe a bit outdated in some respects. Use FastPass if you can because it's probably not worth a very long wait in line. read more

This is by far one of my fav ride's in Magic Kigdom. It's like you are peter pan, flying above the entire story. I know, maybe I'm a dork for liking a kiddy ride, but I think that is what Disney is all about. Making you go back to feeling like a kid. This ride definetely does it. My favorite is seeing all the pirates in the scenes in Neverland. A few Hidden Mickeys in this ride for any other people that like to look for them. So we finally made it back to turn in our Fast Pass on Peter Pan's Flight... once again such a amazing feature! Instead of standing in line for this, we went and cover three more attractions. When we got back the "regular line" had a 45 minute wait time, meanwhile we just breezed through again and jumped on the next available ship destined for Neverland. Peter Pan is another one of the classic "dark rides" that really would lose that magic touch if you could see the mechanics above your head. But once again Disney does a great job of giving you enough to look at below as you soar over the London sky and follow Peter and the kids as they do battle with Captain Hook, and finally make it to Neverland. Like a lot of the classic rides here, they don't rely on the thrill seeker inside of us but rather the child in all of us. read more

My wife and I have waited a long time to go on Peter Pan's Flight because the line is always so long. Finally, we decided to use a fast pass on this ride yesterday. In January, we took our first trip to Walt Disney World and we were disappointed with this ride simply because it was much faster than I'd seen before (We last rode this in Disneyland 7 years ago and have always loved it). It was a busy day, but we were there early before the crowds and there was no need for the ride to be so fast. It took away much of the charm. This is one of those classic old Disney rides that you wish was updated with new technology for the take off over London would be awesome with some modern "tweeking." If you don't have a Fast Pass, this will be an irritating climax for both kids and parents for the ride is perhaps two minutes too short. I love classic dark rides, but this is an example of a classic ride that doesn't deserve it's title like some other rides. It needs some sort of update badly, and while the new queue helps the actual attraction has remained unchanged. While that's ok with some rides, this ride has not aged as well as others. Everything feels a little boring and while I LOVE classic dark rides, this one doesn't even have classic charm like other rides, such as The Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love the culture 1950's, I honestly wish I could go back and live in that era so I could experience it, but for a 70's ride that is based on a ride at Disneyland from the 50's which itself is based on film from the 50's, it really doesn't feel like a great example of the attraction of the time. Now there are some aspects that scream 50's culture and I LOVE those aspects, but I won't give the ride more than one star, and even if those culture aspects from the 50's seem like this ride is better than one star, this next reason I'm not a fan of this attraction unfortunately takes any possible extra stars away. The line is absurd. I know it's Disney, but there are so many rides that are better than this in the park, and that's saying a lot since Magic Kingdom is probably the worst Disney park in the country. But when there are better options with shorter lines that are also classics, I just can't recommend this ride. The Disneyland version I'd say is somewhat worth riding since it was the original and is superior to this version, but this version is definitely a waste of time. If you want a good suspended dark ride with a short line, go ride E.T. Adventure over at Universal. That ride isn't perfect either, but it's definitely better than this. read more
