He showed up about 10 minutes before the appointment and brought a slew of high end photographic equipment to make sure our suite was presented as well as humanly possible. He spent over an hour capturing every possible angle and was personable and polite. He turned around our photos in less than a week (2 1/2 days) and also made a small tweak at my request in less than a day. And the results are EXCEPTIONAL. Our property looks like a million bucks and will command more bookings and a higher nightly rate now that it's presented so well on Air BNB. Thank you Chris! We will definitely keep you in mind for family photos or our next event.

I have unique experience working with Lavel on numerous occasions, both behind and in front of the camera. As a photographer she is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and prepared before every session. She does a great job organizing and directing groups and families in a wedding setting, all while continuing to make it fun, so that everyone has a great time (which is a feat in and of itself)! Her sister and Assistant Lara, is a blast, SO fun, and helps every aspect to run seamlessly. Chenoa, is an amazing photographer as well and is such a beautiful and friendly person. The team they have is and has become a little family, that rocks the socks off of every photography session. In front of the camera I have modeled for two styled shoots, one turned into my SURPRISE proposal!! Both times were meticulously well crafted and organized. Lavel worked with my now fiance to plan the most beautiful and perfect setup for him to pop the question... literally made my dreams come true! Working together, Lavel is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. She not only invests in people as clients, but she does it to build relationships. Which is something incredibly rare these days! Lavel has such creative vision and the ability to bring it to life! Additionally, Lavel is excellent at giving direction for posing which doesn't feel awkward or unnatural, something that is incredibly helpful! Her work is second to none and never fails to leave me speechless. If you've made it through reading this novel of a review, there should be no question in your mind whether or not I would recommend Lavel Marie Photography. I was first in line, but there were a number of young children lined up behind me who were in total awe of my spider. I headed back to the music, but I should have stayed to see what else Susan created . . . did any of the children get a spider too? Susan is available for a variety of events - "parties, corporate events, grand openings, baby & bridal showers" - plus she does "glitter parties". I'm not even sure what glitter parties are, but they sound like fun. (Perhaps you would want to do them outside . . . . imagine cleaning up afterwards?) And Kevin had a great rapport with the kids, even orchestrating musical chairs! If you're looking for fabulous, organic entertainment for a kid's party, Recycleman can come to the rescue! What a treasure for the community.

His name is Kevin Kinane, but the kids call him Recycle Man. Why? Well, he's one of Those People…read more One of those rare people who've figured it out, found their groove in this existence, and want to share it. Kevin likes percussion, he likes rhythm, and he takes exceptional joy in sharing his beats with kiddos. And he should be your band at your next kiddo birthday jam. That is, if you prefer substance over... inflatable jumpers. Reclaiming is only half his gig, but here's why he's Recycle Man. Over the years, Kevin has assembled a swath of objects, from pots and pans to wands and sticks and twangy strings, and he'll bring a mobile bang unit of this stuff to your event, and emphasize -- while he's teaching his audience to harmonize -- that he found all of this in the flotsam of the discarded world. Anybody recall Spoonman, by Soundgarden? That song was based on a real dude, in Seattle, who plays spoons. Recycle Man has spoons, too, and quite a few other tricks up his sleeve. Someone should give him a theme song. Kevin also brings a huge cache of drums to his events and gets everyone, young and old, involved. He's a teacher and, moreover, something of a mentor. I've watched him handle two birthday parties with varying formats and man, the guy really maintained a structure for the fun and kept everybody engaged. Look, you could host your party at some crappy video game & pizza joint, you know what that costs. Or you could pick your favorite park, and bring a cake, and let Recycle Man run the show, at about half the cost. And your kids will be drumming on your pans and coffee pots and bathroom tiles and whatever else they can reclaim for a groove, for evermore.

Reservations go in one hour time slots and there are 3 rooms at a time to choose from with crowbars, hammers, and various characters on the wall. (I wish they could expand their hours more to even include Saturday morning sessions). Extras can include anything from keyboards (slightly more) and pictures of politicians (ahem, the governor). Service was friendly and you can even get a free bottled water upon checking in on FB/yelp. Perfect stress relief, especially for a year such as this. And quite the workout too, as my arms are still sore the next day lol. Great location with other activities and the Craftroom nearby (definitely try the 505 pizza!). We used to love going for the quick shoots and always enjoyed them and their children taking the pictures never had one issue. Recently they started using somebody that was not their family and the quick shoot was under 2 minutes and very rushed not the Hartsocks experience that we were used to we've allowed this two sessions already Christmas and easter. I brought it up in an email the disappointment and he offered half off a session for Mother's Day which we will not be using. I requested a 50% refund on the $75 Easter pictures that were all the same . No response at all it's been two and a half weeks no response . I think that if they do quick shoots they should be able to do the quick shoots like they used to or not do them at all. The prices have already gone up and they are no longer using family which is all right but at least train the photographer to take several pictures be interactive Etc like the hartsocks children always have done. so disappointing it had to go down that way when we and family and friends have been using them for years . I just feel like if they cannot provide the experience they've had this whole time anymore because they are busy or their children are busy that is fine but they should not do the quick shoots or train the person to be like them. 5 minute shoot turned into 2 minute shoot was not very friendly all the pictures were exactly the same $75 was definitely not worth it so disappointing will not be returning !
