Erin is filled with knowledge and advice in so much more than chiropractic care but also how chiropractic care helps your whole body! After my son was born, I can't tell you how many times I cried in her office, being a new mom and not knowing what I was doing she helped me with nursing, after birth healing and so much more! Our whole family sees Dr. C! She worked wonders on my daughter when she was born, who is now 11 months, and is so happy when getting her adjustments. My son, who is now 3, loves going to "Dr. C's house" every week. Her office is so welcoming and has the feeling of home. I can't say enough good about hope chiropractic. We were forced to go to a 3rd party urgent care only to wait 2 hours and have them direct us to CHKD ER which took another 4 hours. By this time my son was in awful shape. All we needed was antibiotics prescribed! Why was it that my PCP could not see him? 3 o'clock on a weekday is completely reasonable to see a return patient when all we needed was standard antibiotics. This place is too worried about their own agendas and not about real emergencies and patient care. This is our community and we pay top dollar premiums to receive this sort of "health care". You almost have to be a rude family to receive prompt care. It should not be this way. I feel it's the staffs issue not the doctors. I run a health care facility and compassionate care is not here or at least not when we really needed it. They try to solve problems with stickers.

I asked her neutrally what she thought about the Covid vaccines and she told me Trump did a great job and Black people aren't targeted by Covid, they just have higher incidences of obesity and diabetes. Not only are those not the only health issues to be concerned about, it was NOT what I asked her about. She said she would send me articles proving her point.. which she never did. As a doctor she didn't listen well and she made me feel unsafe in her care.

Once I passed the background check, I was given a parking pass valid for the next few days. I parked in the parking garage as instructed by my nieces husband. I got turned around the first time, and it took a little extra time to find the maternity ward. But the next time it was easier and I never got lost again lol. On one of my visits, I walked through the oldest structure on campus which was the original hospital built in 1827. This is the oldest military hospital in the US. It still had the original stone exterior (outsise of original hospital) which had been closed in with hallways surrounding it. I checked out some cool paintings throughout the hospital. I learned a lot of history by reading the captions of the paintings. This biulding was turned into an administrative building. The campus was huge! And very pretty as it sits on the bank of the Chesapeake Bay. There was lots of green space which was beautiful.

HOWEVER, mind you I have a shattered pelvis and a hematoma the size of both of my 2 fists put together pressing heavily on said shattered pelvis whenever I sit or lay down. Also mind you the pain meds I was given weren't enough and I noted not only that to the nurse but also that my pain was at an 8/10. What do they do? Give me some Tylenol and told me to wait. I sat in my chair starting to get dizzy from the amount of pain I was feeling. Did I bring this up you might ask? yes, yes I did. What did they do? Get me some water and tell me to wait for the more critical patients To be treated before me because theres "not enough beds for everyone." No big deal, I get that. Someone could be dying, makes my injury look a lot less severe. That's fine, I'll wait. Not long after, the first bed opens up and they take a young woman with a SPRAINED FREAKING ANKLE BACK BEFORE ME. Don't go here. They clearly don't care about ANYONE'S health so if you care about yours, go somewhere else for help. These people are sick. Under Dr. Robeson's care, I've always been taken care of. Let's see how this visit turned out. I was able to check in 30 minutes early since I made to drive from Norfolk. Once I was called up, they were able to weight me in (lost 9 pounds since my last visit), give a urine sample (results were good) and have my blood pressure taken (lower than my last visit). Overall, the blood results were good. Dr. Robeson, my primary care, suggested for me to start taking Mounjaro which'll help with weight loss for diabetics (me included). Of course, I'll have to incorporate exercising and changes to eating meals since it'll make myself full fast with increasing doses. So I'll have to see how the process is going this coming November for an appointment. So far, I feel fine using the product. We shall see what happens going forward. Just like that, another great appointment here. They will continue to have me as a patient. Till next time :)
