Miranda owns and operates this excellent dog salon, and she has impressive credentials, like Master Championship Dog Groomer!!! I was worried having just moved here in Yucca Valley if I would ever find a better groomer than I had before, well I did indeed! Coming in, Miranda sensed Charlie was a bit scared, so she put him on a couch and began to pet and talk to him. He quickly calmed down and let me leave him. When I returned to pick him up, he was elated and didn't want to leave; lol! Anyway, Posh Pooch is the best, and so is Miranda! Thanks! Chef JP

She is a very friendly little girl, but when it comes to grooming, she has a general attitude of "NO WAY". Like Lola, our meeting with Jennifer was a pleasure from the beginning. Jennifer found a way to squeeze us in for grooming with only a couple days notice. We were thrilled. Meeting Jennifer in person was a fantastic experience too. She is warm and welcoming. After the grooming, Lola ran back into our home very happy and looking perfect. Jennifer did an awesome job of translating our requests into a really great cut. And kept our pup happy the whole time. Jennifer said she was easier than most Havanese, which reassured us even more that Jennifer has a lot of experience and intuition to guide her work to make it the most pleasurable for the breed! Very much appreciated that. It's a talent that not a lot of groomers have. We are so happy to find Jennifer and look forward to reaching out to her for Lola's next beauty parlor treatment!! Thank you again Jennifer. You rock!

I am kind of surprised as the pin-striped shave looked bad but was not my experience with my groomer. However, if you are looking for a groomer who keeps to showman standards, Companion Animal Clinic recommended Sandy Paws Pet Grooming. On the day of the day care service, my group and I were running late. I originally wanted to get started early and do an earlier drop-off, but I changed the drop off times a few times that morning. I felt really bad for changing the times on Dawn at the last moment, but she was understanding as it was my first visit to Joshua Tree. She is very communicative and I really really appreciate her flexibility. My husky had so much fun that day at day care with Dawn! Dawn makes sure to keep a limited number of dogs, which is perfect scenario for my dog. My dog tends to get nervous in very large groups of dogs and likes the smaller group setting. Dawn also sent me photos throughout the day and gave me a progress report at the end of the day how my dog did. Dawn said my dog had too much fun playing with the other dogs all day right up to the end when it was time to go home. I highly recommend Dawn and her doggy day care services. I will definitely use her the next time I am in town.

You can pull into designated spots after going through, and they even provide wonderful rags, wheel cleaner, and employees who are happy to help dry your wheels and car.
