The managers don't care about the neglect of bettas. The bettas in the cups had fin rot, swimming issues, and cups full of old food and poop. Not to mention, the fish wall was filled with days-old dead fish. It's sad the employees couldn't care less and blamed it on staffing issues (while they had 3 employees either standing around or putting products on shelves and another 2 walking around clueless) -- as someone that works at another large pet store (with staffing issues), there are no excuses for neglecting animals in their care. read more

I have heard bad reviews about Petcos grooming services in the past. They are SO very wrong! Not only was Amanda amazing with my very skittish golden Retriever (those of you who know... know)! Her customer service with me was beyond compare! She went above & beyond when she could have just said "tuff luck" for my lack of preparation! I have two large dogs that I take to Petco for grooming. I cannot recommend them enough! They were kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. Towards my dogs as well. My dogs haven't smelled this nice in a long time. I can't remember the last time they didn't have hair coming off them all of the time. They did a fantastic job! I will be bringing my dogs back to them on a more regular basis from now on. It is totally worth every penny! Even the checkout person was wonderful. Thanks Petco! read more

Tried to get a case of cat food & found 24 cans of same flavor on shelf! But at checkout was told could only get case price if it was still wrapped up! Asked for a wrapped up case but none were available. I've had experience in nyc where case price was honored without the wrapping! Bad business practice. Try to visit stores but will go back to Chewys and Amazon. read more

I have no problem buying product from here such as tanks or pet food but will never buy fish from here again. Bought 10 of them and they all died within a few weeks. One would die if replace it and it would die. I am not the only one who has had this issue. When u go In their their are always dead fish in the tanks and the staff in the fish department do not always seem to be accurate with their fish care information. Most of the other staff are friendly. Also they are always out of what I need and if I ask when they will have more they will say it's in the back but will take a week to put out. read more

Just bought fish there the other day and spoke with a nice associate who helped us pick out our fish. We took them home and added them to our tank the following day the fish died. So we brought them back to the store the next day. Once we walked into the store we received Immediate attitude from a different associate who redirected us to some one named Tyler who persisted to yell at my girlfriend and try to say it was our water at home that killed the fish. Then he did not want to take the fish back and gave us even more attitude. Eventually he did take the fish back but did not consult us about the replacement fish what color we wanted or anything. We walked out of there angry and frustrated. Probably will not return to buy fish. read more
