Garbage. Spent over 50.00 for a free flowing cat waterfall type waterdish. Got it home only to find that some of the parts don't go together per instructions (to large) and the one piece required to make it "flow" wasn't there. Called up and told them, did not have my receipt unfortunately but paid with a debit card. They told me that no receipt and because I didn't sign up with their "rewards program" - sorry about that (which a more polite way of saying "F... Off" so far as I'm concerned. Hope they enjoyed my money as they won't be getting any more. Don't shop there lest you get screwed. read more

All of the aquatic workers there are very rude especially an older skinny tall woman. The lights are always off and the majority of the fish are under observation. A lot of fish are unhealthy and there are many dead fish floating around also lots of dead snails. I bought a betta fish that died three days later and they refused to refund or replace my order. I had a black molly die the next day but I didn't even bother asking for my money or a replacement. Sometimes you have to stand around 15-30 minutes waiting to purchase fish before someone comes to assist you (even if you ask for help). The workers are especially grouchy if you come in an hour before close and only ask for simple things. If things aren't stepped up I'd rather drive an hour away and shop from pet-smart. Very bad experiences here which can and should be fixed. read more

I'm literally looking at places like tractor supply now for pet supplies since this is the only actual pet supply in the area. Blonde middle aged woman, probably manager has a terribly unnecessary chip on her shoulder and needs to leave her home life at home. Masks are required. Cool. But if you barley make it in the door without one...as you're putting on on...you're the embodiment of Satan according to her power trip. Yet giant families grouped together with no masks and wild children coughing near the pet tag machine is acceptable. And when you ask her about it...since she just bit your head off....she didn't "catch them" she says, yet they had shopping bags from checkout and were a group of at least 7. And standing right in her path. This woman needs an attitude check before working with the public. read more

I go to Farmington probably once a month. Every time I'm there I stop at Petco because it's always nice to go to stores with different fish selection than my local one. For some reason, every time I come to this Petco all the lights are off on the tanks and they have signs saying fish are under observation and not for sale. So does that mean they're sick? If they're sick all the time then something should be done about it. If not, then why is it ALWAYS like this when I stop in? read more

The prices are very high some items are 3 times higher than Walmart.Not enough animals.Same color of parakeets.Bought 6 fish from them they died and killed the other fish I had.Not a very good pet shop.If you could go some where else for pets it would be better.If I could give 0 stars that's what I would put for this store.For a pet store sick fish and parakeets is all they sell.Hope this helps someone searching for pets. read more

We have Slim on a monthly schedule to get the groom and deshed treatment. When he comes home he has luxurious fur with a nice pleasant smell. The staff at Farmington Petco are kind to him, and all seem to have a real passion for furry family members. read more

I took my Sophie who is a teacup Yorkie for her grooming. This was her second time being there. The girl who gave her first cut done an excellent job and was even there when I took her this time but she was not the groomer I got which I didn't know she was going to be leaving. So I got a different groomer. I explained when I got there what I wanted her to look like, of course which was a Yorkie. Well, lets just say the girl made my poor baby look awful, shaved her so sort and cut around her face really short and choppy. Yorkie's are know for there cut. She does not look like a Yorkie anymore. I know her hair will grow out but if infuriates me to know end that she has to walk around with this hair cut. My poor baby looks sick, like she is losing her hair it is so short. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Petco again. Another thing, I found a flea on her the next morning I brought her home from Petco. She has never ever had a flea. All I know is the girl who cut her hair does not need to be a groomer or needs to go back to school to learn what she is doing. Needless to say, I was very dissatisfied with my service. read more
