Unfortunately it's a bit pricey for me for a lot of things, but it's likely because a lot of items are antiques (and I don't know much about antiques) it was really cool seeing vintage items. All the vendors were super friendly and some would even talk about some of the items on sale and its history. I ended up buying just one item, but would come back if I'm ever in Petaluma again. The only thing that was off was finding the place. I googled and mapped the Petaluma vintage market, and it took us to a park.. but the market was at a completely different address after driving around and finding little signs. I go here for for one thing…read more Guavas. They are perfect little buggers that make me happy and make my whole apt smell delicious. Yes, sometimes you have to pick through some squished ones or under ripe one, but well worth it and always better in taste to those I see in the markets. Oh the bread too. Even if I disregard those memories and compare this flea market only to other swap meets I've been to in the area and where I live, this one is a huge disappointment. First I accidentally showed up on a Saturday. Though open, I only saw two vendors. I didn't get out of my car. Next I came on a Sunday, which has always been the better day. There were many vendors, but I'd say a good 70-80% of them were just selling new products. Cheap clothes, household goods, candy, electronics, etc. imported from Mexico and sold cheaply. I guess if you need something like this you may not feel like you have lots of places you can go, but I come to flea markets and swap meets for the "garage sale" aspect and that was extremely minimal here. Very depressing. I did buy a couple of items, but having also visited another swap meet earlier that same day, I can't see myself returning to this one. I'll go anywhere else first and not waste my time coming to Midgley's Country Flea Market.

It can be tough to find high-quality GF baked goods, but they absolutely nail it here--you won't feel like you're missing out at all. You truly cannot leave without trying the brownie bar. We got there right when it opened, and the people who worked there were incredibly welcoming and kind. This place is huge with many vendor booths, genres and styles to choose from. Unfortunately, I did not find what I was looking for, or something else I could not live without, so I did not make a purchase. We definitely enjoyed wandering around this huge building and looking at all the wonderful goods. We then went next door to the neighboring coffee shop for pastries and coffee. I would definitely recommend and return to the Antique Society.

With hundreds of birth comes tons of selection and the value is pretty good. You can get good deals.

It's a curated selection of antiques, vintage good, and clothes so it will be more expensive than traditional flea markets. They have foods on site on the right side with normal items like coffee and breakfast burritos all the way to ube waffles and fried chicken. There are some treasures here if you are willing to go digging: -Near the front was a lady that had preserved bugs that were mounted in nice displays or frozen forever in blocks of acrylic. These are locally made and some of the species I haven't seen before preserved and available for purchase. -Seaglass and antique glass merchants. Saw two of these guys and liked the odd rainbow patina for glass that has spent decades in ocean water. -Japanese wood medicine boxes, these were decorated with old stickers and looked so good for storing items. They were 40-70 each and were priced well below market value.

If you're shopping for a deal this is the place to go but if you have things to sell you will do better with a yard sale or perhaps doing as little as placing a sign in your living room window of things you have for sale in hopes that someone driving by your house will see the sign and come knock on your door. The only one that really makes out in this place is Skip and the high bidders that walk away with everything for a song. This guy deserves zero stars but Yelp requires you give at least one. ;o(

It's not a place were merchants can sell second hand items. Go to Capital Flea Market Saturday and Sunday instead, parking is free, and $2.50 a person.
