We quickly put together a vision and Libby ordered some additional flowers we wanted to make the most beautiful arrangements that represented our family. My dad's flowers were masculine, elegant, lively and modern. Some funeral flowers look so "funeral like" or "old person" but these were so different. We all loved them and appreciated the short turn around. Highly recommend for any occasion!

I placed an online order for a "get well" arrangement from out of state to be delivered to the…read morelocal hospital. While I know the photos online are just an example of what they can do and that they need to work with what is available seasonally, I do expect the result to be close. I was very unhappy when I received a photo of the results from the recipient. I looked nothing like the online image. I chose the arrangements because it looked bright, cheerful and full of flowers that are easy to get. What was delivered was a dull, baby's breath and greenery filled arrangement of lack luster flowers. I haven't received a confirmation of delivery so I called to make sure. The person who answered seem to know of the order but kept saying "delivery for tomorrow" and I had to correct them it was for today. They then said of yes we got it and will deliver. She couldn't tell if it had been delivered but luckily another person in the room was able to tell he it had been fulfilled. I once used a florist in another city that not only sent a confirmation of delivery but in the confirmation message sent an photo of the actual arrangement that was delivered. When sending something to another person long distance it is hard to rely on someone else to get it just right and unfortunately for this time they failed.

She called back later, had some overall planting recommendations, said she didn't actually do landscaping design. Guy named Ben came out to the cottage in June, said he would get back to us with recommendations, sketches, costs etc. Never heard back from him. My wife texted him back... Nothing from Ben. We went back to Pine Hill in July, talked to another guy, Ralph? I asked who we should really talk to if we were to have any chance of Pine Hill actually following up. He said he was the owner, of course he would follow up. In fact his brother (Paul?) would follow up with a phone call. Crickets. It has been weeks. Pine Hill has always come highly recommended in the area. And yes, folks up here are on "lake time" so things do tend to take awhile. But the runaround and total lack of movement from these guys has been amazing to behold. They don't call back/text/ any kind of follow-up communications that they say they will do. Their facilities are nice, we've bought plants there a number of times, even had lunch at their lunch counter a few times. But I'm sorry, if you need someone to actually do some work? Go elsewhere.

Buyers beware, this farm has unethical business practices! We purchased a Christmas tree from them…read morerecently and they charged us an extra $100 for this little bit of extra growth. Their prices are $10 per foot but what they didn't tell us was that anything larger than 10 ft is $20 a foot. That's not $20 once you reach 10 ft but $20 a foot for the entire tree. How does that make sense? When we selected our tree from the orchard, no one was there to help guide us on the size of the tree nor was the tree marked at all. We were told we had to tag it then return to the office and someone would cut it and bring it back. Once they did, they measured it and said it was 10 feet and that we needed to pay $20 per foot. And this is the stick that took it to 10 feet that we cut off to fit our topper. If it was 9 1/2 ft we would've paid $95 but because of this we had to pay 200. When we questioned them, they weren't willing to offer any compensation and just said, well it's a nice tree. Merry Christmas. We could have walked away and not purchased it but we felt bad now that it was cut and thought it was the right thing to do by taking it. I tried to message the company on Facebook and they blocked me. Please don't support a company that puts greed before good customer service.

When I stated that either way, if I purchased them now for pick up the next day, or purchased them the next day for pickup that day, the plants would remain in their store for the exact same amount of time. Getting nowhere, I asked to speak with a manager and after being put on hold, was then told the manager was taking care of a customer and they didn't know how long it would take. I asked that the manager call me when he was finished with the other customer. I left my name and phone number, but no return call ever happened. I guess he is still with that other customer. It is a popular store in a good location so maybe they have enough business and don't care about me or my money. Bizarre.
