Everything....Go find a real emergency hospital with Doctors who put the client first, as well as staff with significant experience and not focused on money.Whete were the days an after hours visit would be $55 or even $75 and not over $125 for what could be an initial 3 minute exam that would cover the entire body before and if additional tests are needed. read more

Be cautious with your beloved pets at Pet Urgent Care of Wesley Chapel next to Seven Oaks. My 19 year old cat underwent Euthanasia at their clinic. We purchased a paw print memory items with her cremation and due to "an error with their paperwork", the memory item/paw prints were never completed. We are now left with nothing and can never get that back. I requested a complete refund for the euthanasia considering this major mistake and they refused, refunding only the cost of the memory item, citing "the doctor's time" for the reason of not providing a refund. This is insensitive and very poor customer service. read more

Staff was very nice but the price is too ridiculous. we did a $150 deposit which is understandable but we got nothing out of the deposit. the deposit only covered the doctor to just sit there n look at the cat, they took the bandage off of the cat and then charged us $15 for just taking it off and then wanted to charge us another $50 to wrap him up and just left him with his wound exposed to get infected. i am never visiting again. read more

The cost wasn't something I was able to afford so they kept discussing a plan of care with the Doctor to perform priority testing to rule out what was possible for me to afford. Excellent care for our tiny yorkie who was having an urgent kidney issue. Stayed overnite and we were able to take him home the next day. He was there 24hrs. Total cost $4,000. Pretty pricey but he is doing good so what can I say. read more

I took my 16 year old pup here last week, she was in bad shape and failing quickly. We were checked in quickly and my pup taken back for vitals, then an exam by the doctor. The doctor came out an explained her condition. We realized we were going to likely have to say our good byes but Dr Middleton said she would do Blood work if we chose to try and get some answers of exactly all that was going on before we made any decisions. We sadly had to say good bye to our precious Bella but the doctor and staff gave us as much time to do so in a comfortable, quiet room. As the founder of a nonprofit senior / Hospice dog rescue - I will never recommend this establishment again. It has been nearly 48 hours since the loss of one of my sanctuary dogs - euthanized as this location on Tuesday, November 16th - and I remain in shock at the events that occurred that evening. Imagine your worst nightmare come true... From the moment I walked in the door with my dog actively seizing - the staff was unprofessional, lacked compassion, but more importantly they were absolutely incompetent. The staff failed to show my dying dog any dignity in his final hour and me the respect as the mother to this dog (and as repeat customer). Money was not an issue for me - but it was to them as I was repeatedly told by separate staff members that they collect the money up front because "too many people have been walking out on us." I was told by Dr. Ushi that "Chris" would be contacting me to discuss the facts surrounding my visit - but there has been zero attempt to contact me. If your pet is experiencing a life threatening medical emergency - do not go into this establishment thinking you will experience anything more than a staff that is unprofessional, incompetent and uncompassionate. read more

the worst of the worst. My dog was playing in the backyard when she came in she couldn't walk. We took her here and they told us they saw nothing and she would be fine by the end of the week. The next day she couldn't walk at all she actually herniated a disc and it shot up her spine causing her to go paralyzed. We rushed her to another vet and she had a 5 hour plus emergency surgery. I can't say thank you enough to the crew who helped my pup tonight(well more me). My 9 year old Boston terrier is my emotional support animal. I've had her trained to help with my anxiety and panic attacks. Her safety means the world to me and the gentleness of all the staff here really helped in such a fearful time for me. I had just driven 12 hours with no AC from VA to FL and was overwhelmed and nervous my dog might have had irreversible damage from a heat stroke. My pup turned out okay (thank god himself!) and I didn't catch the name of the wonderful lady who took care of my girl, but she truly deserves a raise. The staff was quick to get us in and kept me updated and let me chose what I wanted to get done testing wise. I trust this crew with my fur baby any day. My sweet girl is healthy and happy in my lap currently and all my worries are at bay. Thanks crew, you deserve more than 5 stars in my eyes. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone needing urgent care for their fur babies. read more

I just used this pet service and was very pleased. they could have gouged me on unnecessary tests etc. but did not. I highly suggest using them. they do close at 11 so if your pet needs more care then they will have to go elsewhere- very pleased with the service I got. read more

I went to the Pet Urgent Care 4x over the past few months for several reason. Of the 4x I went, only once did they actually resolve a concern. All times I went were after hours and on holidays so I was unable to bring them to my normal trusted vet. Two of the visits they did not add on the military discount that they advertise, the 1st time was because she was new and didn't know how, promising a call back the next day (never happened). The 2nd time was because someone else brought my dog in (also a Veteran) and didn't remind them. No problem, except they were not calling me back as promised. A month had gone by since the 1st promised phone call, so the 2nd time I went in to talk to someone and show my ID, I was told someone would call me at 6pm. Not only did that person not call (again), the person who answered would not answer any questions and just kept repeating "yup, okay." He told me that the manager wasn't in, and when I asked the name of the person who I was supposed to speak to he said "yup, ok." That went on for a few minutes. The next day Chris calls me and leaves a voicemail to call him back. When I did they told me he wasn't in that day. They had someone from a different company call me to tell me that "she can't help with my concern, but she can hear me vent." I told her that I appreciate her time but, I needed to speak with someone who can actually help. At this point I had spent close to $4k and was hoping to get some of it back with the advertised discount as promised (I finally got back around $160 after a month). She tells me that the practice manager Melony was in but on the other line and will call me right back. Several hours later I called back and finally got to speak with her. All she did was make excuses about what happened and refused to acknowledge any responsibility until I told her that I would be leaving this review. Her words were "Chris hasn't been in due to surgery," telling me to "be human." I asked her why she didn't call me back.... Well, no one passed the message along. I told her all of the problems I had below and she had excuses about all of it ranging from "then you shouldn't have taken the medication," "I can't tell my vet how to practice," "that would have been more expensive in XYZ vet" (not true), and my all time favorite "we're here for you when your vet isn't." I don't see it as "here for me" when they take thousands of dollars from me with zero solution. I can guarantee that I will not be back, and I highly recommend that others (especially my military family) follow suit. 1.) I took my cat for a sinus infection. The vet recommended a variety of tests even though she seemed fairly certain on the diagnosis. She prescribed multiple oral medications. I explained to her that this cat wont take oral meds at all, he needed an injection. The vet refused to give the injectable antibiotic. Since I was already being charged hundreds for the visit, I thought I would try the medication instead of refusing it. As expected, we were not able to get the medicine in the cat. I had to take him to VEG 3 days later, VEG brought me back into the treatment area with my cat and gave him the injection as requested. The cat began showing improvement within a day, and he was completely better in 3 days. I unfortunately had to pay for a second visit because the vet refused to listen. 2.) I brought my dog that has an autoimmune condition (IMHA) because he started to decline. I was told that it was all related to the prednisone. 3.)The following week I once again brought my dog with IMHA because he completely crashed and couldn't walk and was struggling to breathe. They refused to let me in the back and refused to speak with me about his diagnosis and current medication before they evaluated him. The person behind the counter was pretty disrespectful when I asked to give the vet the whole picture. I asked them to please carry him since he could barely move on his own, they kept forcing him to walk to and from the back for tests. They told me they thought he had cancer and weren't sure if he would make it through the night. The next day I brought him to my regular vet where he very easily stabilized him with a med change and said "it was very irresponsible for them to say he has cancer when he has textbook IMHA." My dog is only 3 years old, it is clear that his diagnosis of IMHA is accurate, and he has been doing amazing with Dr. Blake in Dade City. 4.) On Christmas day I had a lot of dogs in my home and one of them was bitten by another. We rushed the dog to this vet where fortunately he just needed some stitches. This visit went well overall except for the price. The visit cost over $1300, including over $60 just to shave his neck. I was not present for this visit, however the person who brought him was put under the impression that the dog would have a sedative, not full anesthesia. read more

Do not go to this urgent care or Animal Hospital! Took our 1 year old dog to this hospital to get evaluated at 10PM due to him being in a lot of pain (GI Pain). They were very rude and seemed irritated that we were there close to closing timing. They were very emotionless with the dog and handled him very rough to bring him back. This dog goes out every day and is a service dog and is very very well mannered. The way they handled him... well I was blown away. It took them 30-45 minutes to bring him back and then once they did, they did everything in minutes it felt like. They brought him back to me advising "nothing" was abnormal.... $1400 vet bill and "nothing wrong with him".... Worst part about this all is that he didn't get better. Got worse and when we went back to get better medication (they advised us to) they made us do another exam!!!! Only 2 days later!!! They literally told us that they had to do another full exam because it was a different doctor! This is such a lie and a SCAM!! I'm blown away this place is still in business. If you need an emergency vet go to the one on Bears. I hear great things about that one. read more

Bring food and be prepared for a very long wait. We have 3 labs and have been there 4 times out of convenience only. Each time averaged 2 hours or more and I have no idea as to why. The most recent visit was just today and we were 1 of 2 people yet they still took over 2 hours to simply draw blood. read more

I came home to hear about my cat being unable to walk right in her back leg, which for a 16 year old who had sprains, wasn't new to me. It wasn't until I saw how flexible the back leg really was that I was worried about a possible broken leg. Took her there close to 11pm and the whole process was seamless. They took her x-ray, did blood work to see what medications I could give her safely, explained clearly what they were doing. Pricing was my concern as I don't have much after bills but they gave me a total before anything was done. All of that mentioned came to under $800 which is loads better than BluePearl could charge for the same service. read more

I can't say enough good things about the staff and their professionalism. Because of the Coronavirus outbreak I could not go inside with my golden retriever Grace. She had a gold cart accident and had 3 cuts in er paw. The Tech's kept me informed every step of the way. They knew I was worried but I knew Grace was in good hands.
