Not only that but he is very knowledgeable, he doesn't sugarcoat anything, and is fair with treatment. I came for a colonoscopy for my dog, and he knew my budget was tight. Instead we worked on something less expensive but that will give us a diagnosis. He not only cared about the well-being of my dog, but also my wallet. Yes, procedures are expensive, but he didn't try to squeeze every cent out of me. And that's is priceless. We are still treating my dog there, and giving him the best life possible as he is old and has multiple organ issues. Thank you for doing the best you can for my little Noah.

I took my GSD to Dr. Danielson to establish care and discuss gastropexy, neuter, and hernia repair. The front staff and vet tech were nice. The nightmare started when Dr. Danielson entered. Before the appointment, I spoke with the staff via email explaining that I have an under-2-year-old GSD who is hyper, excited, and can be mouthy, but is not aggressive. I came prepared with a muzzle, e-collar, Herm Sprenger, vest, and had given him trazodone beforehand as an abundance of caution. The room was small and already had my mom, myself, my dog, and the vet tech. When Dr. Danielson entered, my dog went to sniff him. He then lowered the weight scale, which made a loud noise, causing my dog to back into us and bark. (This was the eerily similar review I mentioned that someone posted) I was immediately asked if I had a trainer. I said I had used two. His response was, "Clearly they were not good." He then proceeded to lecture me about my dog's behavior rather than discuss why we were there. He told me my dog should not be "protecting" me and, when my mom tried to explain that this was a new environment with a lot happening, he put his hand up and said, "Don't do that." He then had the vet tech take my dog to the back because he might do better without me. Shortly afterward, we were told my dog had slipped his muzzle and e-collar and had gotten tangled in his leash. I was told he got his paw caught and broke everything off. The explanation did not make sense to me, especially because the muzzle was returned to me unhooked from the buckle holes which is more difficult to remove than the quick release. When my dog was brought back, he immediately came to me, laid down, and allowed me to put everything back on without any issue. Dr. Danielson asked how we could finish the exam. I declined. My dog had been through enough, and after the way I was spoken to, I no longer felt comfortable continuing. He made sure to recommend a specific trainer and give me their card on the way out. I later looked into that facility and found reviews that were even worse. If you have a dog who is on their absolute best behavior in new places and doesn't bark or if you enjoy being scolded about your pet-parenting without being asked what you do, then this is the place for you!

Since relocating to Lutz three and a half years ago, we've exclusively taken our pets (2 cats and a…read moredog) to All Creatures. All Creatures features a knowledgeable staff that cares about animals. This shines through by the way they treat your furry friends. They are all about making them comfortable in the waiting room and during the exam. Don't worry, they offer some of the same comforts to humans. My kids loved going, pre-Covid, because they could pick out snacks and drinks. One thing to note about All Creatures is their caretaking philosophy. Most of the vets here, but some more than others, have a philosophy to start with the most aggressive treatment then work backwards. This has caused us to have some disagreements as sometimes, in end of life situations, we are looking for something different. In those situations, the All Creatures staff have been supportive of the decisions we've made even if that wasn't their first suggestion. Despite some philosophical disagreements at times, All Creatures has always offered us amazing care for our pets. That is why we continue to visit.

Highland Animal Hospital call me and said there was a conflict of interst. I also didn't know the Veterinarian I was coming from use to work for Dr.Young. Mind you we had just had are other dog there and Dr. Jenifer Altrvater said he was as safe there as University of Florida which is 7 in the world of teaching university thats saying a lot. Not only did they make a mistake and put fluid on his lungs. When he came in and they did a x-ray and they said is lungs were clear before his treatment with All Creatures Animal Hospital do to there x-rays. The 24 Specialty & Emergency Veterrinary Center said when dealing with a animal with Cogenerrous Heart Failure you should not keep them on IV tube, it should be giving though NG Tube to not give them to much fluid so you don't flood the lung are put fluid on them when there clear. Well they put fluid on my poor babies lungs which cause them to have to give him more meds to fix that problem, he didn't have before going to All Creatures Animal Hospital. Not that he was not all ready dealing with enough. It turns out that he had Liver Cancer and if we would of took him to a Internal Medicine doctor on Thursday he wouldn't of stayed 3 days before rushing him to the 24 Emergency Veterrinary on Saturday which cause him to SUFFER without eating , only being tube feed. To where the internal medicine doctor found out on Monday there was nothing they could do for him, because of his heart condition. So when I trusted All Creatures Animal Hospital because she said he was as safe their as much as being at University of Florida which is ranked 7 in United State. What A BIG MISTAKE I MADE. What are sweet baby boy went though wasting time there, when he should of been at a 24 hours Internal Medicine Veterinarian. where they wouldn't have had to overnight the medication that didn't work because he had cancer and he needed different medication for his inflamed liver. I will always wonder and beat myself up because the 24 emergency specialist and cancer veterianarin was able to help him, but he would not eat real food, after all that baby went through he just gave up and refuse to eat for them. So they let me take him home saying if maybe he would eat when he was in the comfort of his own home he would make it a little bite longer, but that didn't happen he was so upset and devastated he just didn't want to eat anything, I tried fresh chicken, salmon and liver but nohing worked. I fail my boy by trusting the wrong vet in the first place he had, had enough and to watch this just killed my husband and I. So he came home for one day before he left this earth and went home. R.I.P. OUR SWEET BABY GATOR. And as I sit here typing this as tears run down my face knowing I put my trurst in the wrong Veterinarian (ALL CREATURES ANIMAL HOSPITAL) There's nothing I can do but let you know how they operate their business. And at the beginning of this whole HORRIBE ordeal I had already had reservation of leaving him there and I stated this to Dr. Jennifer Altvater telling her he had never been left alone in all his 14 years. I told her he had always been at a emergency 24 hour vet, and she said he is as safe here as UF Small Animal Hospital. And sure enough on Friday when they put the NG Tube before they left for the evening. They called me the next day and said he pulled it out just like I said he would, because there was no one there to watch him. And that's when we know they were not able to take care of our fur baby the way he needed. She never told me they didn't have the meicine they were going to give him, are I would of never left him, I would of went straight to a 24 hour emergency specialist who would of had everything on hand. And found out about the cancer before the weekend and not let our baby go through only God knows what. VERY UNNECESSARY. And as of this day they never have reach out. So when they say this, I just think WOW what a joke. Integrity - Respect - Loyalty - Compassion They have don't even know the many of those works are if they did they would of treated us with them. I have been taking my pets and some strays to Cypress Creek since about the time they opened. If I…read moreremember correctly, the early 90's. Over the years, I have been to other animal hospitals or tried to make appointments and their service, care, and compassion doesn't come close to matching Cypress Creek. The one exception is their after hours partner, Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service. The staff recognize me and my family members usually by sight when we walk in the door and by our names. In '09, my beloved cat Slash got very sick within a couple of days. I called while the doctor was on lunch break and the office was fully booked for the day. I was asked what was going on. I was put on hold for a short time and then told to bring Slash in right away. When I got to Cypress Creek, he was immediately seen by the doctor, who held him close to her and she pet him and comforted him so lovingly, it really struck me and I will never forget. She and the staff quickly had him tested. He had incredibly aggressive leukemia, unlike what the doctor had seen before. She knew instantly something was very wrong when I called and she cut her lunch break short to see him. She guessed he might have a week or two and did offer the ability to do chemo, but he was beyond help. He was given pain medication. I was in tears when I left. He didn't make it through the night. The doctor and staff were very sympathetic. I received a card from the doctor in the mail days later. Our beloved Simon the cat's immune system started to slowly break down about 4 years ago because he was older. He was tough, strong, stubborn, ornery, and very cuddly and loving. He became a bit famous at the hospital. We were told he was quite "interesting". He would be cranky towards a staff member and then later want to be pet and cuddled by the same person. He was catching colds but quickly recovered with antibiotics and sometimes needed oxygen therapy at the hospital. He began going downhill last month, just a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Amy Wilson saw him, and she's wonderful. She was advising us on everything. She took into consideration Simon's personality and said we should let him live for as long as he wants to. He was seen by Dr. Nadia McLean and the tech Page 5 days later. They were both great. Kendra, who I believe is a tech and office manager, has been working there for a decade or longer, is absolutely wonderful and will take great care of you and your pets. Dr. Wilson was with us and was in touch with us as Simon took a very sudden turn for the worse. An appointment was made for our beloved Simon to be put to rest as they say at Cypress Creek and Dr. Wilson was going to be there. But it wasn't necessary. Simon passed away at home, surrounded by his humans and his feline family, on his own terms just as he wanted it, very quickly and most likely without pain. I give lots of credit to the doctors and staff for not only being there, but for the attention and guidance. The hospital uses a great service for cremation or burial. They're really quick and compassionate.

I've been using New Tampa Animal Hospital for about 4 years. I've been mostly happy with almost no…read morecomplaints over time but no one has been able to match the phenomenal vet I had living in Toronto. Dr. Novy was new at NTAH about a year ago and was immediately available to see my dog when he was ill. I'm so glad to have found her - she matches the skill and service provided by my Toronto vet! My nearly 15-year-old cocker spaniel is in his final weeks and months, a very difficult experience. Dr. Novy has been incredibly helpful and compassionate. She's helped me make several difficult decisions and makes clear she's available by phone for medical support as needed (and I've needed it!). I'm not sure how I could have managed these last few months with her caring support and medical knowledge. She's also helped me develop a practical management plan for my dog that gives him a quality happy life while he can still have it. I do not trust vets easily, but I trust Dr. Novy completely.

September 2022. First, Dr. said it isn't a cancer. Few…read moreweeks later, the other Dr. said she think it's cancer, without any testing. Dr said she can remove Jasmine's tumor with operation. And they almost killed Jasmine with Sedative shot BEFORE the surgery . Jasmine 's heart stopped at some point but they revived Jasmine's heart. They couldn't do operation to remove her tumor and Jasmine barely survived the failed sedative injection. Jasmine wasn't a same anymore. She could barely walk and couldn't run like she was before , after their failed sedation. Dr. even said Jasmine looks like a having tumor in her mouth. ( and SHE DID NOT!!!!) and she said it's better for her to just keep as is because she is old. I cried and took Jasmine to another Vet few weeks later. There, they did blood test and other testing . Dr. M told me that she can remove her tumor and she completed surgery successfully. ・In this vet they diagnosed to cancer to my cat Jasmine without any testing. ・Dr. THINK Jasmine has tumor in her mouth when she didn't. ・They failed sedative injection and almost killed her. I don't know what was going on in the operation room. ・After that Jasmine wasn't a same Jasmine anymore. ・They still made me paid around $300 for their failed surgery attempt. It was very sad, horrifying and traumatic experience for Jasmine and our family at the New Tampa Animal Hospital. All the reasons above, I suggest not to bring your pet to this Vet.

I noticed one of our kitten's third eye was showing heavily and she was sneezing a lot. The front desk receptionist and vet tech that was working were extremely friendly/professional. However, I was completely unimpressed with the vet. We were shown to a room and while we were waiting she walked up and down the hallway several times before popping her head in and said she had no idea where she was supposed to be or what number they were on before walking away again. I found it pretty odd/random that she had no idea how their system worked and that she came in just to make that known. After 30 min of walking back and forth the vet walked into the room next to ours and started assisting a woman who had come in an after us. I mentioned it to my gf and I think the vet tech must have heard me because she told the vet she was in the wrong room. All of this could have been overlooked had her bedside manner not been so abhorring. While I was telling her what we had observed she didn't ask any questions or offer any insight into the things we had mentioned. Finally she said it might be an upper respiratory infection and I asked how she might have gotten that. She completely ignored my question and when I asked again the vet tech said it's similar to the flu for cats and she could have caught it at the shelter we adopted her from. I asked if she would be okay and the tech said yes. The vet chimed in and said " Well... maybe not. It could get really severe and she could end up dying". Who the hell delivers information like that?! She wrote out a prescription and when I asked her about her eye she said there was nothing wrong with them. I pointed out her third eye covers half of her eye. She didn't even bother to glance at it and again insisted she was fine and the medicine she was prescribing would help. At this point I was so frustrated because I felt like this was a waste of money and time. First she says our kitten could end up dying and then she says there is nothing wrong but she's gonna give us medicine to help with whatever is going on. She had not answered or addressed any of my questions or concerns, barely made eye contact and brushed off anything I told her. We got the medicine and she also had us pay for cats treats that we didn't need and voiced that we did not want. After all this our kitty got worse and we took her to the Lutz Animal Hospital. The vet was shocked that we weren't given anything for her eyes since one of them was now completely closed and crusty. We got the appropriate medicine and thankfully our baby is fine now. Save yourself some time and money and go to a better hospital. It may be a little more expensive but at least you'll get the answers you need, the appropriate medicine and a caring and knowledgeable doctor. -5 stars.
