We had our Bella groomed by the Lucky Dog Mobile Grooming except, it was in Brooklyn, NY. I searched through Yelp and I could not find a listing for Lucky Dog Mobile Grooming in Brooklyn. Honestly, this didn't make sense to me. It certainly does exists because, we just had our dog groomed by Lucky Dog, directly on our street in Fort Green, Brooklyn. I want to give the Brooklyn, Lucky Dog Grooming the review they deserve. However, since I don't see an alternative, I am posting this with the Freehold, NJ location. I'm hoping this can be straightened out. I was extremely happy with their services and I want the correct location and individuals to get the review they deserve. This was our first experience using Lucky Dog to bath, groom, and give Bella a "spa day." We had used another mobile grooming company twice within the last six months. I wasn't disappointed with their services but, they were extremely overpriced. Our Bella can be very dramatic and trying to bath her, cut her nails, and groom her is not easy. We have given up on attempting to get her clean at home. She gets so stressed, which makes us stressed. She also has become a bathtub an escape artist. When the Lucky Dog van arrived, Bella didn't just calmly hop in the van. She used her flair for drama. One would think she was going to "the slammer." Chris was incredibly patient with Bella and myself. She was patient, sensitive and encouraging with Bella. Once Bella was actually in the grooming van, the melodramatic behavior stopped. Bella was put at ease by Chris. Thank you Chris, you deserve a reward! When Bella was finished with her spa experience, she was not only clean and shiny (with trimmed nails, ears cleaned) she was calm and happy. We (Bella) will be a regular customer with Lucky Mobile Grooming. Next time Bella may be presented with an Oscar for best outstanding, overly dramatic dog!

I was actually scared to leave my dog there, but being new to the area and not knowing any better, I did. I was charged $70 yes, you read it, to groom a toy size dog. She tried to make extra money off of me by giving the bogus excuse that there was "fine print" on her coupon. My dog came back scared and with ribbons in a male dogs ears. They took a year and a dav to cut out. I wouldn't be surprised if she learned how to groom from YouTube.

Grooming Siberian cats is no easy task--they have thick, triple-layered coats that most groomers struggle with. But Becky handled all three of our male Siberians with absolute professionalism and care. Watching Kelli work with Macie was so reassuring. She was very gentle and calming with my dog. I was soon able to step out of the truck and leave Kelli to her work. When the job was done, the grooming was beautiful. The dog's fur was expertly cut and combed and in addition, Kelli clipped Macie's nails and brushed her teeth. Nadya was so good with our golden doodle! Ted can be a little anxious but he hopped right in the van and wanted to go back with Nadya when they were done! He looks amazing and they said he was so good. I've been told he is very bad with the dryer- not so with Nadya! I used to dread grooming appts - now I can't wait to schedule his next appointment!
