He gave my fur baby something to calm her, took xrays and confirmed a greenstick fracture. He gave instructions on how to care for her, a timeline, medicine and he stayed in the room with us until my pup came out of her sedation. I do recommend Dr Forrest and would use his clinic again.

Horrible Horrible experience. My dog is a small timid rat terrior. In her seven years of life she…read morehas never bitten anyone. One trip to this office and that all changed. The vet is a very old man who is friendly. His assistant however is not. she tried to draw blood without a turnicet. Which was stupid. Missed the vein and kept shoving the needle deeper in. Well of course you got bit. Then she started throwing thing around and slamming things. She got blood all over my dog, and when she pulled back already afraid of her. She threw down the gauze and said Well just stay covered in blood and stormed out of the room. They are not good with cats at all that we could tell from taking ours. The prices are absolutely ridiculous and they do whatever they can to get as much money out of you as they can. Even if it means doing something to your animal that is completely uneccessary. My dog and now my aunts dogs are going to my old Vet before I moved. If you love your animal don't take them to this establishment. Take them to Pelham Animal Clinic to see Dr. Carr. He is wonderful and your pets get the best experience for the fairest price.

Animal Medical Clinic 2 - Aubrey, wondering why the kitties weren't allowed in the exam room...

Can't say enough good things about this clinic, and highly recommend them to others. To be honest?…read moreI was going to go elsewhere because they had no Yelp reviews, and I wanted to see some good reviews before entrusting my new dog's first post-shelter check to them. However, AMC2 was within nice walking distance, so I decided to take a chance. SO happy I did! The office is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. There were a couple of cats wandering about, who were clearly accustomed to seeing incoming dogs and ignoring or avoiding them. One did peer over the counter at my dog who was delighted. About the dog: Aubrey's a pitbull. Which isn't always warmly received, even at vet offices. Yet every single member of the staff she met was positive and cheerful with her. She's a social butterfly, so it's wonderful when people love her back! Dr. Trotter and the tech were very gentle with her exam, blood draw, and ear-cleaning. They made it a GREAT experience for Aubrey. It was just as good an experience for me. We'll be moving shortly (military orders), and the receptionist really went the extra mile to take care of us. She helped consolidate our shots/test schedule, and printed out a complete record of the visit for the vet in our new location. We were also given information for ordering supplies from AMC online if needed. And lastly, we were invited to bring Aubrey by at any time to weigh her (she'd lost weight in the shelter). AND, there's a military discount - every little bit helps! TL;DR - We were delighted with the thorough, high-quality care.

I have worked…read morewith every vet and vet tech and cannot say enough about how wonderful the care has been we have received. From puppy to passing, this clinic has done everything they can to treat us and our pets with the utmost respect and care. And not just one single doctor, but we have seen Dr. Tate, Dr. Wood, Dr. LeBlanc, Dr. Dodgen, Dr. Campbell and most recently Dr. Ball. I wouldn't hesitate to have any one of them work with us and our furry babies. Their app makes it super easy to make appointments, order meds and even chat with the clinic to work out plans for boarding, questions and just about anything that I become concerned about. We've dealt with being attacked by other dogs, wild animals, Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever from a tick bite and even rat poison ingestion. And each and every time I knew that Fisher, Bailey, Garfield and Maggie would have the best chance at any recovery in the hands of Riverview. And if not, their compassion (especially when it was time for our two 18 year old Springers to cross the rainbow bridge) was beyond what I could ask for. Don't think twice, you are in the best care at RAC.

Secondly, some of the staff is rude and snippy. Janice(?) and Bri are AWESOME. Dr Tate and Dr Wood are AWESOME. I have had to leave, as the distance(and 280) make me uncomfortable (and a couple of small things). Basically, they ARE a good practice and I am a little sad about having to leave.
