My dogs cannoli and Rudy stayed here for 8 days in 2019 while we went on a Christmas cruise to the Caribbean and while away my for babies were boarded here. The prices were great and she does things by the book. I left special treats, food, toys and bedding with them. They were able to stay together throughout their stay which was why I picked this location. When I picked up my dogs after vacation my older dog was super dramatic and screamed at me and the whole way home. I was very worried about his reaction at first but my other dog was completely fine. (Cannoli is also a drama queen so if something was wrong she would have been upset too) Both babies are rescues and were kenneled together while I was on vacation here. Rudy was rescued from a shelter and cannolis mom was a rescue from birth so she never saw the inside of a kennel. Rudy was already 6 years old when he joined our family and he lived in a shelter twice in his life before I adopt him (abandoned by two families...) When I dropped him off he was fine and went right to the back wagging his tail I also called before and after the cruise left Miami to check on them and they told me he was barking a lot after the first night and very mopey. He was not eating and a young girl spent some time with him and he started eating again. I should have considered his history beforehand and they did a great job keeping him calm it's honestly my fault he did not adjust as well but they accommodated which gave me a piece of mind to know they were being well taken care of. Cannoli was so happy to see me she immediately got the zoomies so we went for a walk. Rudy was very upset and let me have it. He was barking like he was yelling at me. Both of them were groomed, they looked and smelled great. Rudy on the other hand must have thought he was abandoned again at a kennel and did not adjust very well. (His bed needed to be thrown away because he destroyed it out of frustration) The way he barked on the way home I could feel his pain ughhhh Once he was home he gave me some side stink eye but after some cuddles he warmed up and all was good. (He was traumatized by being an old rescue already and I should have seen it coming) I never kenneled him again after that but thanks to her policy he was able to be with his best friend while staying there which helped tremendously! I Will be using them again this year for cannoli and my kitten for 10 days this December. I will be posting an updated review with kittens experience ‍ I highly recommend this place if you need someone to watch your pets. This place has the best prices in the area, your babies will be safe, loved, cared for, and most importantly they will be together! RIP Rudy my angel got his wings at 15 years old. I had a devastating experience at this place. I boarded my 2 cats, Loki and Soleil from October 6-17, 2023. I was out of the country and this was the only place that took cats. The day I came back, I was excited to see my babies. My husband received a call from Linda Carrier who said, "I lost your cat, Soleil! Can you come find her? She got out of the building and is on the roof". My heart dropped. I dropped everything I was doing and rushed there with my husband. Our cat was GONE. Linda was not even in the facility 5 minutes before we got there. She was at staples, she said. No employees were looking. We were 45 minutes away. When we finally came face to face with Linda, I asked, What is your policy? What do we do? Who can we call to help? Where is your team? She said she has nothing in place for this situation because she never had to deal with it. She simply said, 'I can't even walk! You should just be patient and come back in about 6 days and call for her...' There are no cameras in the facility according to her. She said she never had a cat that was so smart.... Well, if you leave a door to the outside open and are trying to transfer a terrified cat from a cage to a carrier, I would bolt too! I asked her to get a professional to help. She said NO. I asked if I could look inside the facility in case she was hiding somewhere. She said NO. This woman was Cold and couldn't care less. At first, she seemed emotionally affected but that quickly turned into anger and non action. I posted on social media asking for help. I made fliers. I went door to door and begged neighbors to help. The best news is after 2 weeks, I got her back! That is a blessing. This woman Linda, never apologized, never took accountability for her negligence or our suffering. We suffered every second Soleil was gone. Soleil suffered out in the wilderness for 2 weeks. She also had to suffer an emergency vet visit which we paid for. Our hearts hurt because when you board your family member, you expect to get them back. And, if something terrible happens, you would expect some help or accountability. I am writing this because I would never want another human or animal to suffer the same fate or worse. So, if you must board your loved one, at least you can be empowered with this information. I will NEVER make this mistake again. read more

Does the place need a makeover? 1000% probably could use a better book keeping system too but Linda and the girls who work there truly care for the pups. I have two large breed dogs and they love Linda. They can board family dogs together or separate. One of my dogs is also reactive so he can't play with any new dogs but Linda and her team make sure he gets his own play time. Def recommend. read more

We've boarded our 2 dogs here a few times now. It's one of the few places nearby that allow dogs to be boarded together, and that's a big deal for ours. I won't sugar coat-the office is a bit of a disaster. I definitely question their ability to manage their finances and organization. But dogs don't care about that, and to be honest neither do we. And the place definitely has a smell. But it would be weird if it didn't smell like dog. Our dogs are treated very well, and the prices are very reasonable. They are always flexible with cancellations or extensions. We won't use any other place. read more

I left my pet there 2 years ago & until this day the guilt kills me that when I returned from my vacation & finally picked him up not only was he filthy but also appeared malnourished. For over 30 years my family and I have taken our pets here to be groomed and this is, by far, the best place in the area. The owners are super knowledgeable, friendly and know what they're doing. Our pets almost seem sad to leave after their day at the 'spa' and they always strut their stuff for days. They do an amazing job, are priced well and this is the only place I would trust with my babies! read more

Out of necessity and availability, we boarded our dogs here during a family vacation in the Poconos. Upon entry, inside the window of the main office, we saw a giant pile of old receipt books. I mean, semi-hoarder style of receipt books, not just a few papers. The inner office was a mess. I was very skeptical, however I had no where else to board my dog. They allowed us to "tour" the place, and it didn't smell bad and was well ventilated with many fans. The dog runs were a bit small, but also fair considering the decent price of the place. Not sure the dogs get walked, placed in a larger run for exercise or get to play with other dogs. Sorry to say, but would not recommend this place, especially for a larger dog. read more

I brought my 3 dogs here for the first time after hearing about their amazing prices on grooming. The women at the front counter was very sweet! My babies were ready just a few hours later and I have to say I was very impressed with the way they looked! I will definitely come back to this place and recommend it to all my friends! read more

I took my Pom for grooming and in the summer I choose to take it off and not the pretty Pom cut. They are so great. He looked fabulous and completely done nails, ears, cut was great, AND reasonable. I love Linda and ALL the staff. There is NO better place. When Linda had to close for a while due to a death, I tried another out of necessity. It was horrible. Every year my honey goes for the 5 days of my grandson's convention. I NEVER have any trouble after he comes home. This is a "family that LOVES and CARES for pets". I don't leave my baby with just anybody, with that in mind i feel safe leaving Baylie with Karen , i don't care about all the receipt books out front, my dog doesn't stay out there.I know when i leave he'll be well taken care of, anxiety hit and he would not eat the first day which happens alot with him so by that evening he was given some boneless chicken cuts after that he settled down and was fine, Karen called me with this problem which i really appreciated and everything was taken care of.
